VMware Tanzu Platform 10 是什麼
Tanzu Platform 10 是 Broadcom 定位的雲原生應用平台。它同時管理 Cloud Foundry 與 Kubernetes 環境，把應用空間（application spaces）作為抽象層：開發者專注於程式與服務，平台及營運團隊管理基礎設施設定、政策、治理與合規。
Broadcom 在 2024 年公告所描述的開發流程包括自動化安全容器建置、服務綁定、以單一命令部署程式碼，以及按需求擴充應用。平台也宣稱可自動處理漏洞修補、滾動升級和政策執行；這些是廠商功能說明，不等同於所有環境都已獨立驗證的效能或可用性保證。
Cloud Foundry 與 Kubernetes 並行
如果企業已有 Cloud Foundry 應用，又在採用 Kubernetes，Platform 10 的設計目標是從同一套應用管理與治理能力處理兩種環境。實際整合範圍仍取決於版本、叢集設定、網路及現有服務目錄，導入前應以現行相容性文件和概念驗證確認。
治理、可視性與服務綁定
- 提供應用與平台環境的脈絡式可視性，協助團隊從應用追溯到執行環境。
- 可將應用連結到中介軟體及資料庫服務，並由平台管理服務綁定。
- Application Advisor 用於 Spring 應用安全、合規稽核、政策執行與自動 CVE 修補。
- Tanzu Salt 提供合規與弱點管理；平台亦列出預先佈建、強化的開源資料庫和訊息服務。
與 VMware Cloud Foundation 的搭配
Broadcom 表示，Tanzu Platform 與 VMware Cloud Foundation 配對時，可支援離線隔離環境、自我設定安裝流程，以及透過 Avi Load Balancer 提供的網路與負載平衡能力。是否適用於特定私有雲或隔離區，必須按該環境的授權、網路和基礎設施版本核對。

GenAI on Tanzu Platform

因此，10.3 主要是平台與 AI 服務的增強；2026 年公告則把焦點推向代理執行、資料治理與代理行為控制，兩者不應混寫成同一個已上市版本。
部署模式與 SaaS 變化
Broadcom 支援文件指出，Tanzu Platform SaaS 自 2025 年 5 月 1 日起停止提供購買或使用，文件並指向地端形式。Broadcom 2025 年 4 月的產品組合公告也列出部分舊 SKU 的替代品。企業不能只按 2024 年發布稿選擇方案，應向 Broadcom 或授權夥伴核實目前可購買的 SKU、訂閱條款、升級權利及自我管理部署要求。

- 確認應用環境：列出 Cloud Foundry、Kubernetes 或兩者並行的應用，並檢查現有服務綁定與網路需求。
- 選定部署邊界：判斷是否需要自我管理、私有雲或離線隔離；不要假設 SaaS 仍可訂購。
- 定義 AI 工作：區分 Java／Spring 整合、模型 API 管理、模型觀測，以及代理執行和資料治理需求。
- 設計治理責任：明確誰管理政策、CVE 修補、模型權限、祕密資料、token 用量與代理稽核。
- 核算授權：Broadcom 2024 年 11 月授權文件將 Tanzu Platform 定義為訂閱軟體，不同組件可按不同平台單位分配；當前計價單位與條款以現行合約為準。
- 核對團隊能力：評估 Java、Spring、平台工程、Cloud Foundry、Kubernetes 及私有 AI 基礎設施經驗是否足夠。
Broadcom 對市場需求的說法
Broadcom 2024 年發布稿引用 IDC《GenAI Awareness, Readiness, and Commitment: 2024 Outlook》（2024 年 4 月）稱，29% 的 GenAI 預算用於建立及交付新的軟體型業務服務；同一發布稿引用 451 Research／S&P Global《Voice of the Enterprise, Digital Pulse, Technology Skills 2023》稱，52.6% 的組織面臨 AI 與機器學習技術人才短缺。這兩個數字是 Broadcom 轉述的研究結果，不是本文的獨立調查。
當時任 Broadcom Tanzu Division 總經理的 Purnima Padmanabhan 表示，Tanzu Platform 的內建 AI 開發框架可讓不同 Python 經驗程度的開發者建立智慧應用，Tanzu AI Solutions 則旨在協助團隊從沙盒試驗走向生產部署。這是廠商主管的產品願景，不能替代企業自己的安全、品質和成本驗證。
誰適合優先評估
- 需要在 Cloud Foundry 與 Kubernetes 間維持一致開發體驗和治理的企業。
- 已有 Spring／Java 團隊，希望以熟悉的技術棧加入生成式 AI。
- 必須在私有雲或隔離環境中控制模型、資料、權限和網路邊界的組織。
- 需要把應用、資料服務、弱點、模型回應及代理動作納入同一平台治理流程的團隊。
若需求只是呼叫單一模型 API，或團隊沒有 Cloud Foundry／Kubernetes 平台工程能力，Tanzu Platform 的完整治理層可能超過必要範圍；應先比較導入複雜度、現行授權和維運責任，而不是只看 AI 功能清單。
