Brave Dungeon + Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT comes to PlayStation 5 on October 24, 2026. The collection is developed and published by Inside System, and it can already be wish-listed on the PlayStation Store. It combines two very different RPGs: a party-based dungeon adventure and a turn-based card battler built around characters from The Legend of Dark Witch.
What is included in the PS5 collection?
The package contains the original Brave Dungeon and Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT. They share the Syega Crystal setting and related characters, but their play loops are distinct rather than two modes of one game.

Brave Dungeon: exploration, crafting and class changes
In Brave Dungeon, adventurer Al searches the labyrinths of Belfer Island for Magic Items powered by Syega Crystals. Combat is designed to be approachable, while the surrounding systems provide more room for long-term planning.

- Build a party: Distinct playable characters give you different options when assembling a team.
- Gather materials: Enemies and treasure chests supply materials used for advancement and item creation.
- Craft and customize: Crafted items and equipment let you tune the party for the threats found deeper in the labyrinth.
- Change classes: Class changes add another layer of specialization as characters develop.
The result is a dungeon RPG that can be played for straightforward progression or pushed further by players who want to complete its optional challenges. Dark Witch’s Story: COMBAT: how the card battles work
COMBAT rebuilds the series as a turn-based, deck-building card game. You choose a team of three from more than 40 characters and play best-of-three matches. Each round is a one-on-one duel, so team construction matters even when only one fighter is active at a time.
Turn and deck structure
- Choose three characters: Build a team from the roster of more than 40 characters and creatures drawn from The Legend of Dark Witch.
- Prepare a 12-medal deck: Medals provide attacks, healing, buffs, debuffs and other effects.
- Manage Syega Crystals: Medal effects are powered by Syega Crystals, making resource timing part of every turn.
- Use the phases deliberately: Turns are divided into Support and Main phases, allowing setup effects before committing to a primary action.
- Exploit matchups and links: Attribute advantages, role effects, Team Links and signature medals create additional tactical interactions.
- Win the match: A complete match is best-of-three, with each round resolved as a one-on-one duel.
Because the deck is limited to 12 medals, every inclusion has an opportunity cost. A list focused only on attacks may lack recovery or disruption, while a defensive build must still find a way to finish rounds. Team Links and signature medals give character selection consequences beyond basic statistics.

Quest Mode and long-term unlocks
The single-player Quest Mode contains 45 quests. Battles award experience, characters and medals, which feed into further upgrades. You can raise levels, unlock higher ranks and equip skills as the campaign progresses. Cleared quests can be replayed with Auto Battle, while special Final-battle rules provide a different test from ordinary encounters.

Release history and PS5 availability
The PS5 version is scheduled for October 24, 2026. PlayStation Store wishlisting is available ahead of launch. Inside System is both the developer and publisher.

Is there a physical PS5 edition?
The announcement confirms a digital PlayStation Store release and wishlisting, but it does not announce a boxed PS5 edition. No physical version, retail launch date or packaged bonus is established in the available release information. Players who specifically want a disc should wait for a separate confirmation from Inside System or PlayStation before assuming one will be sold.

Which game should PS5 players start with?
- Choose Brave Dungeon if you want to explore connected labyrinths, collect resources, craft items and tune a conventional RPG party.
- Choose COMBAT if you prefer short, repeatable tactical matches, deck construction and roster experimentation.
- Play both if you want the collection’s full range: one game is built around dungeon runs and character development, while the other centers on medal management and best-of-three duels.
The collection’s main appeal is that the two games complement rather than duplicate each other. One supplies exploration and crafting; the other supplies structured card battles, a 45-quest campaign and a large character roster.
