Nein. Die Teufel ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2 hat einen integrierten Zweikanal-Verstärker; ein separater Stereo-Verstärker ist für den Betrieb nicht nötig. Das Set besteht aus einem aktiven Lautsprecher und einem passiven Lautsprecher, die mit dem mitgelieferten Lautsprecherkabel verbunden werden. Es handelt sich also um ein verstärktes Stereopaar, nicht um zwei unabhängig aktive Boxen.
Was bedeutet „Aktivlautsprecher ohne Verstärker“?
Der Verstärker steckt bereits im aktiven Lautsprecher. Teufel gibt für die Class-D-Endstufe eine Gesamtleistung von 100 W RMS an, aufgeteilt in 2 × 50 W RMS bei 4 Ohm. Ein Lautsprecher versorgt damit auch den passiven Partner über das beiliegende Kabel. Teufels Aussage „Spielfertig: kein Verstärker nötig“ beschreibt diesen Aufbau.
Die Leistungsangabe und alle folgenden technischen Zahlen sind Herstellerangaben, keine unabhängig ermittelten Messwerte. Wer bereits einen Stereo-Verstärker besitzt, braucht ihn für dieses Paar nicht; die Lautsprecher sind als eigenständiges System mit Quellenanschlüssen und eigener Verstärkung gedacht.

Teufel nennt außerdem Bedienung direkt am Lautsprecher, per mitgelieferter Infrarot-Fernbedienung oder über die TV-Fernbedienung via HDMI-CEC. Ein dimmbares OLED-Display, automatisches Aufwachen und Klangmodi gehören ebenfalls zu den aufgeführten Funktionen; Details stehen auf der englischen Produktseite.

Fernseher und Gaming
HDMI ARC/CEC ist die naheliegende Verbindung, wenn Fernseher und Lautsprecher ARC unterstützen: Der TV gibt den Ton an die Lautsprecher aus, und CEC kann die Bedienung über die TV-Fernbedienung ermöglichen. Der einzelne HDMI-Anschluss ist jedoch kein Ersatz für einen AV-Receiver oder HDMI-Umschalter mit mehreren Eingängen. Alternativ lässt sich ein Fernseher mit optischem Audioausgang verbinden.
Musik

Kann man einen Plattenspieler oder Subwoofer anschließen?
Plattenspieler
Ein Plattenspieler lässt sich analog über AUX anschließen, benötigt aber laut Teufel-Support einen Phono-Vorverstärker. Viele Plattenspieler haben einen solchen bereits eingebaut; andernfalls ist ein separates Phono-Vorverstärkergerät nötig. Ein einfacher Cinch-Ausgang allein ersetzt die Phono-Entzerrung nicht.

Subwoofer und Surround-Erweiterung
Teufel nennt als mögliche Ergänzungen ein zusätzliches EFFEKT-2-Paar für die hinteren Kanäle sowie die Subwoofer T 8, T 10 und T 4000 Wireless. Die Produktseite zeigt zudem eine ULTIMA 25 AKTIV 2 Club Edition mit T 10 Mk2. Prüfe vor der Bestellung für die konkrete Lautsprecher- und Zubehörgeneration, wie der Subwoofer angeschlossen wird und ob die gewünschte Erweiterung enthalten ist oder separat gekauft werden muss. Die Kompatibilitätsliste allein klärt nicht jedes Detail der Anschlussart.
Wie viel Platz braucht das Lautsprecherpaar?
Teufel nennt für den aktiven Lautsprecher 21,5 × 36,5 × 26 cm und 8,5 kg. Der passive Lautsprecher ist 24 cm tief und wiegt 6 kg. Plane außerdem den Kabelweg zwischen den Boxen ein: Das mitgelieferte Lautsprecherkabel ist 5 m lang, das Netzkabel 1,5 m.

Für Ständer- oder Wandmontage führt Teufel ein M6-Gewinde auf. Prüfe, ob die konkrete Halterung zum Gewinde, Gewicht und Gehäuse passt, und montiere sie entsprechend den Sicherheitsvorgaben des Halterungsherstellers. Der Hersteller veröffentlicht als weitere Spezifikationen einen Frequenzbereich von 41–20.000 Hz und einen maximalen Schalldruck von 104 dB bei 1 m; auch diese Werte sind Herstellerangaben und keine unabhängigen Laborergebnisse.
Was ist gegenüber der Vorgängerversion neu?
Teufel beschreibt gegenüber der früheren ULTIMA 25 AKTIV ein überarbeitetes Erscheinungsbild, FSC-zertifiziertes MDF für Gehäuse und Front, eine modernisierte Fernbedienung, einen erweiterten Lieferumfang, längere Kabel und acht Resonanzdämpfer. Laut Hersteller waren die früheren Kabel 1,2 m (Netz) und 3,5 m (Lautsprecher); für die AKTIV 2 nennt die aktuelle Produktseite 1,5 m und 5 m. Das sind Herstellerangaben, keine unabhängige Vergleichsprüfung.
