The Boulies EP200 is an adjustable office chair, but its specifications have changed between versions. The current US product page describes a 2026 model with four recline positions, adjustable lumbar support, seat depth, head support, and six-way armrests. Older EP200 listings describe a different recline range and base. That makes the exact version and upholstery important when reading reviews or comparing prices.
What the current Boulies EP200 offers
Boulies’s US listing for the EP200 2026 model specifies these adjustments and components:
- Recline: four backrest positions at 98°, 105°, 114°, and 120°.
- Lumbar support: built-in adjustment. Boulies product-page copy says, “The EP200 features 4-way adjustable lumbar support, allowing you to adjust the height and depth to better suit the natural curve of your back.” This is the manufacturer’s description, not independent ergonomic evidence.
- Other adjustments: adjustable head support, seat depth, six-way armrests, and 360-degree swivel.
- Listed construction: mesh upholstery, reinforced plastic frame, heavy-duty five-star base, multi-tilt mechanism, 6 cm PU casters, and a Class 4 gas lift.
- Seat option: the page also presents a cold-cured foam seat option; check the exact configuration on the listing.
These are manufacturer specifications, not independently verified performance findings. The feature list can help you decide whether the chair has the adjustments you want, but does not establish that its fit or comfort will suit every body.

What changed in the 2026 model
Boulies says the 2026 EP200 seat width increased from 49.5 cm to 51 cm compared with the original model, and describes revised cushion contours and upgraded mesh. Those are the manufacturer’s comparisons. Its promotional claims that the cushion is “3 x supportive” and the mesh “twice as durable” are not supported here by independent measurements, so they should not be treated as tested results.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Version differences extend beyond the seat. Boulies’s older EP200 Series page listed three recline positions—95°, 113°, and 135°—and an aluminum base. The current US 2026 page instead lists four positions and a reinforced plastic frame. Avoid combining specifications from the two listings as if they describe one unchanging chair. See Boulies’s current EP200 page and its older EP200 Series page.
What independent reviews can—and cannot—tell you
TechRadar’s EP200 Series review gives favorable impressions of price, comfort, and support. A separate TechRadar article dated June 16, 2026 says its writer had used the EP200 for more than 18 months. That is one reviewer’s experience, not a guarantee of long-term results for every owner or configuration. PC Gamer, Tom’s Guide, and Creative Bloq have also published EP200 reviews, but the available information does not establish a consistent, detailed set of strengths and weaknesses across those reviews.

How to decide whether the EP200 suits you
- Identify the version. Confirm whether the listing is for the 2026 model or an earlier EP200 Series chair; recline positions and frame/base descriptions differ.
- Confirm upholstery and seat option. Check whether the configuration is mesh or the cold-cured foam seat option, rather than relying on a review of a different variant.
- Match the adjustments to your needs. Check the lumbar, head support, seat-depth, armrest, and recline adjustments you expect to use. A specification list cannot confirm personal fit.
- Check the local purchase terms. Verify current stock, price, return window, and warranty for your region before ordering.
- Use reviews as individual accounts. Note the model and configuration a reviewer discusses, and treat personal comfort impressions as experience rather than a universal outcome.
The EP200 is worth considering if its adjustment set, seat option, and local purchase terms match your priorities. The available evidence supports a feature-based assessment and some favorable reviewer impressions, but not a blanket claim that it is the right chair for every buyer or a definitive verdict on the 2026 model’s long-term durability.
