Star ratings and consumption should not be compared with a newer label scheme unless the rating systems and test methods are confirmed to match.
CHOICE’s publicly accessible model listing reports claimed annual energy use of 230 kWh/year, claimed water use of 13.4 L and 14 place settings, as well as a two-year warranty. The annual claimed energy figure is not the same measure as Bosch’s 0.62 kWh per Eco reference cycle. CHOICE places important test results, reliability and satisfaction scores, and running-cost information behind membership; the public listing alone does not support a numerical independent ranking. Bosch lists a VarioDrawer above the main racks for cutlery and smaller utensils. It changes where those items go, freeing or altering space in the lower basket; whether that layout suits a household depends on the items it loads.

Drying, noise and connectivity
Bosch lists heat-exchanger drying and a 46 dB(A) noise figure. The former identifies the drying system, while the latter is a manufacturer specification; neither establishes a comparative cleaning, drying or quietness result. Bosch lists no Wi-Fi, so app control is not a feature to expect.
Bosch’s 2020 Australian catalogue describes six wash programmes and four options, along with EcoSilence Drive, DosageAssist, AquaSensor, a 1–24 hour delay and an anti-fingerprint finish. Those are historical catalogue details, not confirmation that every regional sub-version or suffix has exactly the same configuration. For a specific unit, check its matching manual. Will it fit your cabinet?
Do not rely on the “60 cm” label alone. Bosch specifies a 600 mm niche width, a height range of 815–875 mm and a 550 mm niche depth. The appliance itself is 598 mm wide and 573 mm deep, so the cabinet opening and the appliance dimensions are not interchangeable measurements.

- Measure the cabinet opening’s height, width and usable depth; compare all three with Bosch’s required niche dimensions.
- Allow for the door’s listed 1,155 mm depth when opened to 90 degrees, and check nearby doors, drawers and walkways.
- Check where water, drain and electrical connections sit, and whether the supplied hoses can reach without kinks or unsafe routing.
- Use the installation document matching the appliance’s complete E-Nr suffix, not a manual selected only by the base model number.
Bosch lists the SGZ1010 as an optional inlet and outlet hose extension in its specification sheet. It is relevant only if a measured reach issue calls for an extension; confirm compatibility with the full appliance suffix and installation instructions before purchase. The listing does not establish present stock or universal fit across variants.

What independent evidence says about performance
The accessible CHOICE listing confirms the model identity and some claimed specifications, but does not expose enough test results to substantiate a cleaning, drying, reliability or head-to-head performance verdict. A single owner account is anecdotal and cannot establish typical outcomes.
