There is no official numeric power chart for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. The most defensible current reading is feat-based: Boruto, Kawaki, and the Divine Tree threats Jura and Hidari belong in the top combat discussion; Sarada has the clearest newly confirmed power milestone with Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume; and Himawari has exceptional, author-confirmed potential through the interaction of her Uzumaki and Hyuga heritage with Kurama’s chakra. Those are evidence-led placements, not an official 1–10 ranking.
This guide separates what the manga and official publisher material establish from interpretation. It treats the series as ongoing as of October 18, 2026, so a new chapter can change a matchup, reveal a limitation, or move a character into a different tier.

How power levels should be judged in Two Blue Vortex
Power-scaling discussions become unreliable when a character’s reputation is turned into a precise score. The official material reviewed for this series publishes chapters, volume synopses and creator comments, but no canon numeric ranking. A useful comparison therefore asks several questions at once:

- Versatility: Can the fighter attack, defend, move, sense danger and alter the battlefield, or does the kit depend on one technique?
- Speed and initiative: Who can force the first meaningful exchange, interrupt an opponent or change position before a response?
- Durability and recovery: How much punishment can the character absorb, and is healing or regeneration demonstrated rather than assumed?
- Information: Does the fighter have sensing, prediction or other knowledge that changes decision-making?
- Team value: A specialist may be more valuable in a coordinated mission than in an isolated duel.
- Matchup dependence: A technique that is devastating against one opponent may be poorly suited to another.
The tier labels below are editorial shorthand for those axes. They are not hidden canon ranks. A placement marked as interpretation should be read as a current comparison, not a prediction that a character will win every fight.

Boruto Uzumaki: the central post-timeskip combatant
What is confirmed
Boruto is the center of the current power discussion because he is not merely being discussed as a future fighter: official Vol. 6 material places him rushing to save Konohamaru during Matsuri’s attack. The Naruto site likewise places him on the battlefield while Jura acts. Those are direct indicators of present narrative responsibility and combat readiness.
The important distinction is between a demonstrated role and an invented score. The official synopsis confirms that Boruto is entering active confrontations with Divine Tree enemies; it does not publish a number that proves he is stronger than every other character.
Why he is usually placed at the top
Boruto’s post-timeskip portrayal combines initiative, mobility, tactical judgment and access to information that can affect how he approaches a fight. The series also links him to Momoshiki’s future-glimpse ability. Ikemoto explains that those glimpses resemble Prescience, but are not an established Shinjutsu and provide only part of Prescience’s functionality. That qualification matters: the ability can improve preparation and reaction without making Boruto omniscient.
His strongest case is therefore cumulative. He is operating against the story’s most dangerous active threats, making decisions under pressure and using a toolkit broad enough to keep a battle from becoming a single-technique contest. Readers should still separate what he has shown from techniques or outcomes that have only been foreshadowed.
Matchup limits
Information advantage is not the same as an automatic victory. Future glimpses have an explicitly limited scope, and a battlefield involving multiple Divine Tree figures can deny the time needed to exploit them. Boruto’s placement also reflects current mission context: a rescue objective may force him to protect an ally instead of pursuing the fastest route to a knockout.
Kawaki: Boruto’s principal rival and a top-tier comparison point
What the official material establishes
Kawaki remains Boruto’s principal rival after the changed relationships created by Omnipotence. Official pages establish the continuing conflict and the altered circumstances around both characters, but they do not provide a complete numeric comparison.
How to compare him with Boruto
A useful comparison uses the same axes rather than asking for a single winner. Examine each fighter’s displayed techniques, speed, ability to control distance, durability, information and performance against the specific opponent in front of them. A duel with advance knowledge can produce a different result from a surprise encounter or a mission in which one fighter must protect civilians.

Because the current official summaries do not document a definitive Boruto-versus-Kawaki result for every relevant ability, saying that one is permanently stronger would go beyond the evidence. Kawaki belongs in the highest combat tier, but his exact position relative to Boruto remains matchup-dependent and subject to new chapters.
Sarada Uchiha: Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume changes her ceiling
The confirmed awakening
The official Naruto announcement states that, during the Leaf and Sand rescue mission in the Land of Wind, Sarada activates Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume of her own volition. VIZ describes the same volume as Sarada awakening dormant Mangekyo Sharingan powers. This is the clearest newly confirmed power milestone in the currently promoted material.
Why the wording matters
“Of her own volition” identifies agency, not merely an accidental or inherited flare-up. It confirms that Sarada can consciously bring the ability into the story’s current conflict. It does not, by itself, establish the technique’s complete range, duration, cost, accuracy or performance against every top-tier opponent.
Is Sarada’s Mangekyo stronger than Kawaki?
There is no official statement that answers that question as a universal ranking. Ohirume can change the matchup because a new Mangekyo ability may create an opening that Sarada previously lacked, while Kawaki’s established combat options may be better in another situation. Until the manga demonstrates the relevant interactions, the responsible conclusion is conditional: Sarada has raised her ceiling and deserves top-level consideration, but the awakening is not proof of an automatic win over Kawaki.
Himawari Uzumaki: the highest confirmed potential, not a finished ranking
The author’s explanation
In an official Ikemoto Q&A, the author says Himawari inherited both the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans’ blood and that those factors have a synergistic effect with Kurama’s chakra. He adds that Daemon sensed “the enormity of that potential within her.” This is a direct canonical basis for treating Himawari as unusually promising.
Potential versus demonstrated output
Potential describes what a character may be able to reach; it is not the same as a completed feat. The Q&A does not publish a final ranking, a measured chakra amount or a guarantee that Himawari can already defeat the strongest active fighters. Her current category is therefore high-potential rising fighter rather than undisputed number one.
Why preparation matters
The same official Q&A explains that Himawari trained with Team Ten after seeking ways to help Boruto. That preparation changes how her future matchups should be read: she is not simply waiting for inherited power to solve every problem. Training, teamwork and the conditions under which Kurama’s chakra can be used will determine how much of the stated potential becomes reliable battlefield performance.
Mitsuki: transformation, sensing and teamwork as force multipliers
Where he fits
Mitsuki remains a core Team 7 combatant. His transformations, sensing and teamwork make him more than a raw-damage comparison. A fighter who detects an ambush, creates an opening or synchronizes with allies can decide a mission even when another character has the higher peak output.
Why a numeric tier would mislead
The official promotional pages reviewed for the current volumes do not publish a standalone numeric tier for Mitsuki. His placement should therefore be based on the manga feats readers can verify, not on a fabricated score. His value is especially sensitive to whether the fight rewards reconnaissance, coordinated attacks, pursuit or an isolated exchange.
Team 7 implications
Comparing Mitsuki, Boruto and Sarada as if they always fight alone misses the way their roles overlap. Boruto may provide initiative and tactical direction, Sarada’s new Mangekyo ability may create a decisive opening, and Mitsuki’s sensing or transformation may keep the group from being surprised. A team result cannot be converted cleanly into an individual ranking.
Jura and Hidari: Divine Tree threats at the top of the danger scale
Jura
Official material promotes “A Battle Against Jura and Hidari,” and the Naruto site says Jura makes his next move after Boruto reaches the battlefield. That combination establishes Jura as an active, central threat rather than a distant rumor. His placement among the current top threats rests on the scale and urgency of the conflict shown in the promoted chapters.
Readers should not fill gaps with assumed abilities. The reliable claim is that Jura is driving a major battlefield confrontation and that Boruto’s arrival does not remove the danger. Specific techniques, limits and relative superiority must be taken from chapters that actually show them.

Hidari is promoted alongside Jura in the official battle material and belongs in the same current threat conversation. That does not mean the two are interchangeable. Their individual abilities, target selection and performance in a particular encounter can produce different matchup results, so a shared “Divine Tree threat” label should not be mistaken for identical strength.
Why Divine Tree opponents complicate rankings
Against a single rival, a fighter can optimize for speed, defense or a known weakness. Divine Tree missions can involve several objectives and opponents at once. The need to rescue an ally, contain an attack or respond to a new move makes battlefield control and information as important as maximum destructive output.
Matsuri: a current antagonist whose mission role matters
VIZ’s Vol. 6 synopsis identifies Matsuri’s attack on Konohamaru as a major current conflict. That places her among the immediate antagonistic pressures shaping the cast’s rankings. Her importance is not merely a label: an attack that forces Boruto into a rescue effort changes who gets to choose the engagement and who must react.
The available official summary does not justify extending her ranking beyond the abilities and outcomes actually shown. Treat Matsuri as a major current threat, then evaluate her by the same criteria as everyone else: confirmed exchanges, initiative, durability, information and dependence on allies or objectives.
What “strongest” means in common reader matchups
Who is strongest overall?
There is no canon answer expressed as a number. For current combat relevance, Boruto, Kawaki, Jura and Hidari are the safest top-tier group, while Sarada’s Ohirume awakening and Himawari’s confirmed potential could substantially reshape that group as more feats appear. Calling one of them the permanent strongest would turn an ongoing interpretation into a false fact.
Is Boruto stronger than Kawaki?
They are best treated as top-tier rivals whose result depends on the abilities displayed, available information and the objective of the encounter. The official material confirms the rivalry and ongoing conflict, not a complete numeric verdict.
Is Sarada stronger than Kawaki now?
Sarada’s voluntary Ohirume activation is a major upgrade, but its full limitations and interactions are still the deciding evidence. It raises her potential and matchup options without proving a universal victory over Kawaki.
Is Himawari already the strongest?
No official source says that. Ikemoto confirms an unusually strong interaction among her Uzumaki and Hyuga heritage and Kurama’s chakra, and Daemon senses enormous potential. That supports a high ceiling, not a completed ranking.
Can Momoshiki’s glimpses guarantee Boruto wins?
No. Ikemoto says the glimpses resemble Prescience but are not an established Shinjutsu and have only part of Prescience’s functionality. They are an information advantage with stated limits, not perfect knowledge.

Reading the current Two Blue Vortex volumes
If your priority is the present power conversation, start with Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Vol. 6. Its official synopsis brings together Sarada’s Mangekyo awakening, Boruto’s rescue effort, Jura and Matsuri, making it the quickest route to the currently promoted conflict.
For the developments that lead into that volume, use Vols. 3–5 for earlier Jura, Hidari and Himawari material. Readers who want the full narrative foundation should then read the collected volumes in publication order from Vol. 1 onward rather than treating Vol. 6 as a substitute for the opening setup.

How to update a power ranking without overclaiming
Because the manga is ongoing, revisit a tier list after each new chapter or collected-volume announcement. A meaningful update should check for:
- A new named ability for Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada or Himawari.
- A demonstrated cost, cooldown, range or failure condition for an existing ability.
- A direct exchange that tests one of the disputed matchups.
- A change in the Divine Tree roster or a new objective for Jura, Hidari or Matsuri.
- New official comments that clarify whether a prediction is canon, a partial function or only an interpretation.
- Changes to chapter or volume availability in the reader’s country.
When a new feat appears, record the opponent, battlefield, preparation, objective and result before moving a character. That practice prevents a spectacular but highly conditional moment from becoming an unsupported whole-cast ranking.
The Bottom Line
The most accurate October 2026 view is a feat-based one: Boruto, Kawaki, Jura and Hidari anchor the current top combat discussion; Sarada’s voluntary Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume is the clearest confirmed new milestone; and Himawari has extraordinary author-confirmed potential that has not yet become a final ranking.
