BOBABOMB is an upcoming third-person party brawler from TwoShrimps Studio, built around blowing boba at friends and opponents. Steam lists lobbies for up to 16 players and three modes: Deathmatch, Last Boba Standing, and Bomba Run. Its defining twist is that boba doubles as ammunition and weight: carrying more can make you slower, while firing it makes you lighter and faster.
What is BOBABOMB?
BOBABOMB is a colorful, playground-style arena brawler. The Steam listing describes players blowing boba at one another, collecting ammunition around the arena, and using sticky shots and close-range attacks to knock rivals out. TwoShrimps Studio is listed as both developer and publisher. The game is marked “Coming soon” on Steam.
The store page’s opening line asks, “Did you ever blow boba bubbles at your friends?” It is promotional copy from the listing, not a quote attributed to a named developer.
How does the boba combat work?
Boba creates a tradeoff between having ammunition ready and being able to move quickly. Players can pick up loose boba or refill at giant bubble-tea cups. Carrying more makes a character heavier; firing the supply reduces that weight and increases speed. That means a full stock can help with attacks, but spending it can improve mobility.
Sticky shots and the Bomba
Sticky boba can slow opponents. A special “Bomba” sticks to a player and explodes when its fuse runs out, creating a timed threat to avoid or pass along through the fight. Boba that has not been used can be collected and reused.
Weight also powers melee attacks
Players can build up weight and use stronger straw swats to knock opponents out of the arena. The mechanics therefore connect resource collection to both ranged attacks and physical hits: carrying boba affects movement, while weight can support a harder swat.

Steam lists single-player, online PvP, and LAN PvP, along with full controller support and Steam Cloud. The listing does not say that a controller is required or identify a particular model as tested. Up to 16 players are supported in a lobby, according to the store page; that is a listed capacity, not a claim about matchmaking or how many players will be available in practice.

The Steam page lists Windows, macOS, and SteamOS/Linux. English is listed for full audio and subtitles, and eight additional languages are listed for the interface. Platform and language availability are based on the current store listing and may change before release.
When does BOBABOMB release, and is there a demo?
The Steam listing currently gives the full game a “Coming soon” status rather than a release date. COGconnected reported on October 4, 2026, that the studio had announced a Steam demo for October 7, 2026 (report). That announcement alone does not confirm the demo is available now; check the Steam listing for its current status.
