The BN+ Cup is a fantasy basketball competition inside BasketNews EuroLeague Fantasy for the 2026–27 season—not a PlayStation esports tournament. To compete for its PlayStation 5 prize, enter the fantasy game, finish among the top 2,048 teams after the first five EuroLeague rounds, and advance through the announced group and playoff stages. BasketNews says only BN+ supporters are eligible to win prizes.
What is the BN+ Cup?
BasketNews describes the BN+ Cup as a second-chance competition within its EuroLeague Fantasy game. Teams qualify based on their performance during the season’s opening five rounds, then compete in groups and playoffs. The announced prize for the cup champion is a PlayStation 5. It is not described as a PlayStation-run tournament, and the announcement does not say that owning a console is required to enter or improves a team’s chances.
BasketNews introduced the competition for the 2026–27 season. Its overview outlines the main stages but is not a complete rulebook, so details such as tie-break procedures and cup-specific scoring rules should not be assumed.

How to make a stronger fantasy team
In a September 10, 2026 advice article, BasketNews recommends weighing expected fantasy output against a player’s cost rather than relying on reputation alone. It also suggests reviewing prior-season minutes and performance, preseason form, a player’s current role, opponents and venues, injury updates, and having alternative captain choices.
