Neither Bluehost AI Website Builder nor Wix Harmony is established as the better builder overall. The practical choice is between Bluehost’s AI-generated WordPress site bundled with hosting and domain-related benefits, and Wix Harmony’s Aria-powered workflow that combines natural-language requests with visual editing. Choose based on the platform and editing approach that fit your needs—not on an unverified claim about which makes a better site.
How the two AI builders work
Bluehost: AI-assisted WordPress site creation
Bluehost describes its builder as a way to create a WordPress website within its hosting flow. Its help guide, updated September 29, 2026, says setup asks up to five tailored questions about the user’s industry before generating a site. Bluehost also describes AI-generated copy and visuals, with WordPress-oriented site management. Bluehost’s setup guide explains the workflow.
Bluehost’s paid Get Online plan is presented as a bundle that includes hosting for one website, a one-year domain, domain privacy for one year, SSL, CDN, weekly backups, and malware detection and removal. The help guide also lists cPanel, 20 monthly AI edits, and a first-month bonus; plan inclusions can change, so check the live offer. Bluehost’s product page lists the current offer and inclusions.

Wix Harmony uses Aria, Wix’s site-building AI agent, alongside a visual editor. Wix says users can ask Aria to change a site’s design or structure, then inspect the result in the editor and continue editing manually. Examples in Wix’s documentation include generating sections, adjusting colors, and changing tone. Wix’s Harmony creation guide describes the editing flow, while its AI tools guide explains the available tools.
#1 Best Overall
Wix announced Harmony on January 21, 2026, as a hybrid of natural-language site creation and visual editing. Its developer documentation lists tasks Aria can help with, including redesigning pages, generating content, configuring product catalogs and booking systems, and providing SEO guidance. These are product capabilities described by Wix, not independent findings about the resulting site’s quality or performance. Wix’s announcement and Aria’s developer documentation provide further detail.

Which builder fits your needs?
Choose Bluehost if WordPress and a hosting bundle are your priorities
- You want an AI-generated WordPress site within a hosting setup rather than a Wix-hosted site.
- The listed bundle—such as hosting for one website, SSL, backups, and domain-related benefits—matches what you need.
- You are comfortable checking Bluehost’s current plan terms and managing a WordPress-based site.
Choose Wix Harmony if you want to alternate between AI prompts and visual editing
- You want to ask an AI agent for changes and then adjust the site directly in a visual editor.
- You prefer Wix’s hosted ecosystem and its documented support for tasks such as product catalog or booking setup.
- You are prepared to use a Premium Plan if you need a custom domain or online payments.
This is a fit-based recommendation drawn from the vendors’ product documentation. It does not establish that either builder produces better sites, is easier to use, or performs better in practice.

What to know about plans and costs
Bluehost pricing varies by term and renewal
On the US Bluehost product page, Get Online was displayed at $9.99 per month when checked on October 7, 2026. Bluehost’s help guide lists $15.99 monthly billing and $9.99 annual or 24-month pricing, and identifies displayed prices as reference pricing. Promotional pricing, billing duration, locale, and renewal rates can change the actual cost; check the current checkout details and renewal rate in Bluehost’s Renewal Center before buying. The help guide and product page provide Bluehost’s pricing information.
Recommended Free Tools
Bluehost lists a 14-day trial. Treat it as a trial period rather than evidence that ongoing use or publication is free; verify the terms that apply to your account and region.
Rank #3
Wix allows free creation, with paid requirements for key features
Wix says you can start creating a site for free without a credit card. Its AI builder page says a Premium Plan is required to connect a custom domain, accept online payments, or access additional features. The reviewed official page did not establish a current Wix price directly comparable with Bluehost’s quoted offer, so compare the live plan checkout for your region and required features rather than assuming the free tier covers them. Wix’s AI builder page outlines these requirements.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What this comparison cannot establish
Official product pages can describe workflows, plan inclusions, and vendor-stated capabilities; they do not by themselves show which builder creates better sites, is easier to use, delivers stronger SEO results, or has better uptime or accessibility. Bluehost’s comparison page is vendor-authored, so treat its comparative claims as Bluehost’s positioning rather than independent evidence. The sources reviewed do not establish a controlled Bluehost-versus-Wix Harmony test or an equivalent current Wix price.
