No—Bluehost does not currently present a dedicated, in-house reseller-hosting plan. Its website still displays a “Reseller Hosting” footer link, but the linked /products/reseller destination redirected to the Bluehost homepage in the latest check. A HostAdvice review updated July 30, 2026, says Bluehost ended its own shared reseller program in 2014 and now directs interested customers to ResellerClub; because the live Bluehost route does not confirm that referral, treat ResellerClub as a lead to verify rather than an established Bluehost partnership.

If you need to sell hosting under your own brand, choose a plan that explicitly includes independently managed client accounts, reseller-level control-panel access, white-label tools and billing automation. A normal Bluehost VPS or dedicated server may host several sites, but it is not automatically equivalent to a reseller product.

Does Bluehost offer reseller hosting?

Bluehost does not currently advertise a dedicated reseller-hosting product that customers can order as a packaged service. The apparent evidence is a footer item labeled “Reseller Hosting.” However, the associated /products/reseller URL redirected to the general Bluehost homepage when checked, rather than opening a reseller-plan page.

HostAdvice’s review, updated July 30, 2026, gives the clearest published explanation: hosting expert Walter Akolo wrote, “No, Bluehost does not offer its own reseller hosting plans.” That is an expert-review statement, not a direct Bluehost announcement. The same review says Bluehost stopped its shared reseller program in 2014 and directs prospective resellers to ResellerClub. Since the observed official destination does not verify that route, confirm any current relationship directly with Bluehost or ResellerClub before opening an account or promising clients a particular setup.

This distinction matters because “reselling” is more than putting several websites on one server. A reseller product normally lets you create and manage separate customer accounts, allocate resources, apply your branding, and automate provisioning and invoices. Without those functions, you are operating a conventional hosting server and building the reseller business processes yourself.

Does Bluehost have reseller hosting plans?

There is no current Bluehost plan page establishing a dedicated reseller tier, published reseller account limits or a standard white-label package. The ordinary hosting catalog may include shared, VPS and dedicated products, but those categories should not be described as reseller plans unless Bluehost confirms the specific features and licensing in writing.

What a dedicated reseller plan normally includes

Capability Why a reseller needs it What is established for Bluehost’s ordinary VPS or dedicated offers
Separate client accounts Each customer can have isolated credentials, limits and access instead of sharing one master login. Not established as a packaged reseller feature.
WHM or equivalent account manager Creates, suspends and adjusts hosting accounts from one administrative panel. HostAdvice reports WHM is not included by default.
White-label branding Lets customers see your company name, nameservers and support identity rather than the upstream host. HostAdvice reports the usual white-label package is absent.
Billing and provisioning automation Connects orders, payments, account creation, suspension and renewals. HostAdvice reports no bundled reseller billing automation.
Reseller-oriented support Helps with account-level failures, migrations and customer-impacting incidents. Current reseller-specific support terms are not stated.

Because those elements are not confirmed as bundled, calling a standard Bluehost server “Bluehost reseller hosting” could lead customers to expect tools and branding controls you would still have to acquire and operate.

Can I use Bluehost VPS for reselling hosting?

Technically, you may host multiple client websites on a VPS, but it is a do-it-yourself hosting operation rather than a ready-made reseller service. You would need to supply the missing control, billing, branding and support layers, and you would be responsible for their security and reliability.

What you would have to add

  • Account management: install and license a control panel capable of creating isolated accounts, or configure users and permissions manually.
  • Billing: connect a system such as WHMCS or Blesta, create products and tax rules, and test payment, provisioning, suspension and cancellation hooks.
  • Branding: configure private nameservers, branded login pages, mail notifications and support addresses. Check whether the server license and DNS arrangement allow this.
  • Operations: handle operating-system updates, malware response, backups, monitoring, abuse complaints and recovery when a client site consumes excessive resources.
  • Capacity planning: set per-account CPU, memory, process, storage and database limits. A VPS headline specification does not tell you how many supportable customers it can carry.

When a VPS approach can make sense

A self-managed VPS can suit an experienced developer who wants complete control, has a small number of predictable sites and is comfortable paying separately for the control panel and billing stack. It can also work for an agency that manages sites centrally and does not promise each customer a standalone hosting account.

When it is a poor fit

It is risky for a first-time reseller who expects automatic signup, instant account creation, branded nameservers and a support team familiar with reseller incidents. One misconfigured account, weak backup policy or resource spike can affect every customer on the server. Before choosing this route, ask Bluehost whether WHM, cPanel licensing, private nameservers, virtualization limits, backups and commercial-use terms are included for the exact VPS or dedicated SKU you intend to buy.

What should a real reseller-hosting plan provide?

Use the following checklist when reading any provider’s plan page. Do not infer capability from the words “agency,” “multi-site” or “unlimited.”

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Account model: the number of separate cPanel or equivalent accounts, not merely the number of websites.
  • Resource isolation: documented CPU, memory, inode, process, database and email limits for each account.
  • White-label controls: private nameservers, custom hostnames, branded panels and removal of upstream branding.
  • Billing integration: WHMCS or Blesta included, supported at an extra charge, or unavailable. Confirm which modules automate provisioning.
  • Storage and traffic: storage type, backup impact, bandwidth measurement and any fair-use or metering rules.
  • Migration terms: number and type of sites the provider will move, whether email and databases are included, and what happens with incompatible panels.
  • Support boundaries: whether support covers your clients’ account-level issues or only the underlying server.
  • Commercial terms: promotional period, renewal rate, billing commitment, taxes, refund window and add-on licenses.

What’s better than Bluehost for reseller hosting?

The following services appeared in a HostAdvice comparison and are useful starting points, not an independently verified ranking. Prices are the figures published in that comparison at review time; they can change with term length, location, taxes, renewals and promotions. Verify the checkout page and feature list before purchasing.

Provider or plan cited Published starting price and term Notable point in the comparison Question to resolve before buying
Verpex Start-Up Reseller $1.80/month on a 36-month promotional term WHMCS is listed as not included and must be purchased separately; the comparison warns that renewal pricing is higher. What is the renewal total after the introductory term, including billing software?
ChemiCloud Kickstart $19.95/month Billing software is described as bundled, while bandwidth is metered. Does the included automation justify the starting price, and is the traffic allowance enough?
NameHero Silver NVMe $17.90/month on a three-year promotional term WHMCS or Blesta appears on some plan tiers; bandwidth is metered. Which exact tier includes the software, and what resource limits apply?
Hosting.com Starter $25.50/month on a one-year term WHMCS is described as included across the listed plans; bandwidth is metered. Do the bundled tools justify the higher listed starting price and renewal cost?

Verpex: lowest listed entry price, but price the software separately

The comparison lists a $1.80 monthly promotional rate for a 36-month commitment. That figure is attractive only if the renewal price and a separate WHMCS subscription still fit your margins. Calculate the full three-year cash commitment, then model the first renewal year before presenting a retail package to clients.

ChemiCloud: bundled billing with metered bandwidth

The listed Kickstart price is $19.95 per month, and the comparison describes billing software as bundled. Because bandwidth is metered, estimate traffic for media-heavy sites, backups and update downloads rather than assuming the account is effectively unlimited.

NameHero: verify the tier before relying on WHMCS or Blesta

The comparison lists Silver NVMe at $17.90 per month when paid on a three-year promotional term and notes WHMCS or Blesta on some tiers. Confirm the exact tier, account count, storage, bandwidth and software entitlement in the order summary; a feature shown for one tier should not be assumed for every plan.

Hosting.com: higher listed price with WHMCS across the comparison plans

The comparison lists a $25.50 monthly starting price on a one-year term and describes WHMCS as included across the listed plans. Ask for the renewal amount, resource ceilings, migration scope and backup policy so the software inclusion is evaluated alongside the complete operating cost.

How should you compare reseller-hosting costs?

Introductory price alone is a poor business metric. Build a 12- and 36-month cost sheet containing the following rows:

  1. Hosting term: record the commitment that produces the advertised rate and the amount charged upfront.
  2. Renewal: enter the post-promotion monthly or annual price, including any plan change required to keep the same resources.
  3. Control-panel license: include cPanel, WHM or another panel if it is not bundled.
  4. Billing software: add WHMCS or Blesta, payment-gateway fees and taxes.
  5. Infrastructure add-ons: price backups, malware scanning, extra storage, private IPs and monitoring.
  6. Labor: estimate onboarding, support, migrations, abuse handling and recovery time. A low server price does not remove these tasks.
  7. Customer capacity: divide the usable resources—not the marketing account count—by the number of clients you can support without contention.

No independently attributable industry-wide reseller-hosting benchmark was identified for market size, success rate or typical margins. Treat every provider-specific figure as a plan claim, not as a universal expectation.

Which model fits your business?

Choose a traditional reseller plan when

  • You want customers to receive separate hosting logins and account limits.
  • You need automated signup, invoicing, suspension and renewal workflows.
  • You want private nameservers and a brand that is distinct from the infrastructure provider.
  • You prefer provider-managed server maintenance and reseller-aware support.

Choose agency-style multi-site hosting when

  • You manage the websites yourself and clients do not need independent hosting accounts.
  • Your service is site maintenance, development or marketing rather than hosting resale.
  • You can keep billing and support in your own agency system without promising white-label panels.

Choose a self-managed VPS only when

  • You can administer Linux, DNS, mail, security, backups and monitoring.
  • You have budgeted separately for a control panel and billing automation.
  • You have tested isolation, restore procedures and capacity limits before onboarding paying customers.

What is Bluehost’s affiliate program, and is it reseller hosting?

It is not a substitute for reseller hosting. Bluehost’s official affiliate page, accessed October 13, 2026, advertises commissions starting at “$65 or more per qualified sale” and a “30-day cookie window.” That program pays for referring customers to Bluehost’s ordinary hosting plans; it does not give you client-account management, white-label nameservers, reseller billing or control over the hosting environment. Do not market affiliate referrals as hosting resale.

What should you verify before signing up?

  1. Ask the provider to identify the exact plan that includes separate client accounts, WHM or its equivalent, and the stated account limit.
  2. Request written confirmation of white-label nameservers, panel branding and customer-facing mail.
  3. Check whether WHMCS or Blesta is included, limited by tier, or billed separately.
  4. Read the resource policy for storage, bandwidth, CPU, memory, inodes, databases and email.
  5. Calculate promotional and renewal costs with taxes and every required add-on.
  6. Confirm migration scope, backup retention, restore charges and the support channel for reseller incidents.
  7. Verify the provider’s current terms immediately before checkout; plan features, prices and referral routes can change.

Bottom line: Bluehost is not currently offering a clearly documented, in-house reseller-hosting plan. Its VPS or dedicated products can be engineered into a multi-client server, but you would be responsible for the control panel, white-labeling, billing, security and support that a true reseller package normally supplies. For a branded hosting business, compare a purpose-built reseller plan from the alternatives above and judge it on renewal cost, account isolation, automation, resources and support—not its introductory price alone.
