What the Blueair ComfortPure T10i is
The ComfortPure T10i puts three functions in one upright unit: air purification, fan circulation and electric heating. Blueair describes its airflow layout as TripleFlow, with purified air delivered while the appliance is operating in each mode. The company’s product-page wording calls it “Experience ultimate home comfort all year with the ComfortPure™ 3-in-1 air purifier.” That is a product description, not an independent test result.
In practical terms, the T10i is aimed at someone who wants one device for a bedroom, office, nursery or other small room. You can run filtration without heat, use the fan for personal airflow, or add warmth on a cool day. The fan does not refrigerate air like an air conditioner, and the heater is intended as supplemental, room-level warmth rather than a replacement for central heating or a whole-home system.

Blueair recommends the T10i for approximately 16 m² (175 sq ft). Treat that as the manufacturer’s intended cleaning area, not a guarantee that every room will reach the same air-quality result. Open doors, high ceilings, cooking particles, smoke, outdoor pollution and the number of air changes you want can all affect real-world performance.

Measure the room you actually plan to use. A 175-square-foot bedroom is a different task from an open-plan living area with several connected spaces. If your room is larger, the T10i may still move air, but its stated coverage does not extend automatically to the entire space.
When a larger model makes more sense
Blueair lists the T20i separately at up to 352 sq ft. That documented sibling is the more appropriate comparison when your room is roughly twice the T10i’s recommended area. Choose by measured room size before comparing extra features or relying on a retailer’s generic “large room” label.
Purification performance and what the numbers mean
Blueair publishes clean-air delivery rates (CADR) for three test categories and advertises removal of 99.97% of airborne particles. These are manufacturer figures from the current global product page, accessed in 2026; they are not an independent home test or a prediction of everyone’s experience.

CADR is useful for comparing how quickly a purifier can deliver cleaned air under a defined test method. It is not the percentage of particles removed from your room in one pass, and it does not establish health outcomes. The published figures also do not tell you how the T10i performs in your particular layout, at every fan speed, or after a filter has accumulated months of dust.

The filtration target is airborne particles. A carbon layer can also help with some odors, but the supplied specifications do not quantify odor-removal performance. Do not treat the T10i as a substitute for source control: remove smoke at its source, ventilate when appropriate, and fix moisture or mold problems rather than expecting a purifier to solve them.
Fan mode: useful airflow, not air conditioning
Fan mode circulates air across you and around the room while the unit continues to provide purified airflow. A reviewer at TechRadar reported that the fan was useful in hot conditions. That is an observation from that review, not a guaranteed cooling capacity or a measured room-temperature reduction.
Because there is no refrigeration cycle, the T10i cannot lower a room below the surrounding air temperature in the way an air conditioner can. It can make you feel cooler by increasing evaporation and moving stagnant air. Place it where the airflow reaches your seating or sleeping position, and keep the intake and outlet clear of curtains, bedding and furniture.
Heater mode: supplemental warmth for a small space
The T10i can produce warm air while filtering. TechRadar’s reviewer found the heater produced warm air and helped a smaller space feel more comfortable. The same review cautioned that the device will not replace a full central-heating system. Use that distinction when planning winter heating: this is a room-level booster, not a home-wide heat source.

No heater wattage, guaranteed heating area or energy-use figure is established in the available product information. Your running cost therefore depends on the local electrical rate, selected heat setting and operating time. Before buying, check the electrical rating and plug standard on the product page or manual for your country; regional models can differ.
Safety and regional differences
Official materials describe anti-tip protection and an overheating shutoff. Those safeguards reduce risk if the unit is knocked or its temperature rises abnormally, but they do not remove the need for safe placement. Keep the appliance on a stable, level surface, leave the manufacturer’s required clearance around air openings, and never cover it while heating.
Blueair Japan’s announcement also reports 350-degree oscillation. Oscillation can distribute airflow around a room instead of pointing continuously in one direction. Electrical specifications, controls and included features may vary by regional model, so confirm the local product page and manual before purchase, especially if you are importing a unit.

A schedule can automate quiet overnight operation or start filtration before you enter a room. Fan-speed control lets you trade airflow and sound against cleaning speed, while filter-life monitoring gives you a maintenance cue instead of relying only on a calendar reminder.

App availability and supported functions can vary by country and by the version of the appliance. Check that your local app store lists the required app and that your home network meets the manual’s requirements. If you prefer not to use an account or smartphone, verify which essential functions remain available from the physical controls.
How to set up the T10i correctly

Launch pricing and availability context
TechRadar’s 2026 review recorded launch pricing of $499.99 in the US and £399 in the UK for the Summer 2025 launch period. Those are historical launch figures. Retail prices, stock and promotions can change, and a price in one market does not establish availability in another.
Blueair announced the T10i in Japan on January 31, 2025. If you are buying outside the market covered by your local Blueair site, verify warranty terms, voltage, plug type, app support and filter availability before importing.
