Bitdeer AI, part of Bitdeer Technologies Group, announced a 10-year data center services agreement for A901, a planned 67 MW AI Cloud campus in Malaysia. The company targets initial capacity delivery in Q1 2027 and the full 67 MW in Q2 2027, but says it had no offtake commitments for A901 capacity as of October 8, 2026.
What Bitdeer announced
Bitdeer AI said it entered into a 10-year data center services agreement for A901. The agreement concerns data-center services for the planned campus; Bitdeer’s announcement does not identify the counterparty. The 67 MW figure refers to critical IT load, according to Bitdeer.
The company describes A901 as a third Malaysian hub alongside Cyberjaya and Johor. Its announcement identifies the country but does not state A901’s precise city or state. Bitdeer’s October 8, 2026 announcement is the source for the project details and targets.
What A901 is planned to support
Bitdeer says A901 is intended to be engineered for liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems and enterprise AI workloads. This describes the planned design, not hardware confirmed as installed at the site.

Bitdeer CFO Michael G. Potter characterized demand this way: “Demand for liquid-cooled, rack-scale AI capacity in Southeast Asia is running ahead of what the market can deliver, and customers are asking for it earlier and in larger blocks.” That is Potter’s assessment, not an independently verified market finding.

The announcement does not report A901 as operational or say that either delivery milestone has occurred. Bitdeer identifies potential schedule dependencies including approvals, site readiness, equipment delivery, power availability, construction and energization.

A901 has no announced offtake commitments
Bitdeer stated that it had entered into no offtake commitments for A901 capacity as of October 8, 2026. The 10-year services agreement is therefore not evidence that customers have contracted to use the campus’s AI capacity.

The same announcement cites approximately $10 billion or more in active AI Cloud pipeline. Bitdeer defines this as potential contract value under commercial discussion; it is not A901 backlog, executed contracts, revenue, or a binding commitment. The company separately reported approximately 273.5 MW of secured AI Cloud data-center capacity across Malaysia, Norway and the United States, counting owned capacity or capacity under executed data-center services agreements. Bitdeer said that figure represented approximately 78% of its target of up to 350 MW by Q1 2028. These are company-reported figures, not independent industry data, and the pipeline should not be conflated with secured capacity.
