Bigme’s B13 Pro is a 13.3-inch, 4:3 color E Ink monitor built around E Ink’s Kaleido 3 panel. Its headline upgrade over the earlier B13 is a manufacturer-rated refresh rate of up to 60 frames per second, twice the previous model’s listed 30FPS. Bigme is taking preorders at $569, against a listed price of $749, but the launch announcement does not specify a shipping date.
What the Bigme B13 Pro is
The B13 Pro is an external monitor rather than a conventional tablet. It accepts video over Mini HDMI or USB-C and can mirror screens wirelessly using DLNA, AirPlay or Miracast. Bigme lists compatibility with Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices. The company recommends computers between 13 and 17 inches, and says two B13 Pro units can be placed side by side for a dual-screen workspace.
Its 13.3-inch panel uses a 4:3 aspect ratio. That shape provides more vertical space than a typical widescreen monitor, which can suit reading, coding, documents and long web pages. It is built with an aluminum-alloy chassis, integrated dual speakers and a one-year warranty.

Kaleido 3 can display color, but its palette and saturation remain more limited than those of LCD and OLED monitors. The 300-PPI figure applies to monochrome content; color information is listed at 150 PPI. Those distinctions matter when evaluating small colored text, photographs or detailed graphics.

What “60Hz” means here
Bigme’s reported “up to 60 frames per second” figure is the B13 Pro’s principal change from the earlier B13, which Bigme’s store lists at 30FPS. The 60FPS number is a manufacturer claim reported at launch; the available launch material does not include independent laboratory measurements of response time, input latency, ghosting or motion clarity.
As a result, the specification should not be read as proof that the B13 Pro will look or feel like a 60Hz LCD gaming monitor. E Ink monitors can offer smoother updates in faster modes while still showing different motion characteristics from emissive or liquid-crystal displays. Buyers who need reliable scrolling or cursor performance should look for independent testing after units are available.

Ports, wireless input and one-cable use
Wired connections
- Mini HDMI: a conventional video-input option for compatible computers and other sources.
- USB-C: can carry power and video through one cable when the connected device supports the required USB-C video and power capabilities.
Whether a single USB-C cable works depends on the host device, cable and available power. A computer that cannot provide USB-C video output may require Mini HDMI for the picture and a separate power connection.
Wireless mirroring
The listed wireless protocols are DLNA, AirPlay and Miracast. Compatibility and setup can vary by operating system and network, so wireless mirroring should be treated as a convenience feature rather than a guarantee that every phone or computer will connect identically.

At roughly 660g and less than 6mm at its thinnest point, the B13 Pro is positioned as a portable second screen. The 4:3 format and aluminum construction may make it better suited to a desk or travel setup than a large traditional monitor, although the required stand, cables and power source affect the total carry weight.
Price and shipping status
Gizmochina’s October 14, 2026 launch report says Bigme opened preorder access through its official website at $569. The same report gives a listed price of $749. The announcement and cited product page do not specify when preordered units will ship. Check the order page for the destination-specific estimate, payment terms and any changes before purchasing.

The B13 Pro’s clear paper advantage is its higher claimed update rate. The two Kaleido 3 products share the same quoted resolution, while the AOC model is listed at 30Hz. The available figures do not establish which monitor has lower latency, less ghosting or better color calibration.

Who should consider it
- Readers and writers: the reflective display and portrait-friendly 4:3 shape can be useful for long documents.
- Developers and office users: a portable second screen may add vertical workspace without carrying a full-size monitor.
- Users sensitive to conventional backlit displays: E Ink offers a different viewing experience, but the color and motion compromises remain.
- Fast-motion users: wait for independent testing if gaming, video editing or high-speed animation is a primary requirement.
What to verify before ordering
- Confirm the current preorder or list price for your region.
- Check the product page for an estimated shipping date, since none was specified in the launch announcement.
- Verify that your computer supports USB-C video if you want one-cable operation.
- Confirm whether your phone or computer supports AirPlay, Miracast or DLNA before relying on wireless mirroring.
- Look for independent measurements of latency, ghosting, response time and motion quality before treating the 60FPS claim as equivalent to a conventional 60Hz monitor.
