Power banks can do more than recharge a phone: catalog examples pair battery storage with flashlights, lanterns, wireless charging, radios and Bluetooth speakers. The clearest documented examples come from Sandberg’s 2024 catalog, but it supports only a handful of combinations—not a verified list of 11 products. Treat the details below as manufacturer descriptions, not independent performance findings or confirmation of current stock.

What to look for in a multifunction power bank

An extra feature is useful only if it fits how you plan to use the device. For everyday carry, a built-in flashlight or wireless charging may matter more than radio reception. For camping or emergency use, a lantern, audio playback, and alternative ways to replenish the battery may be more relevant. The Sandberg catalog lists these combinations, but does not provide independent tests of runtime, charging speed, durability, or sound quality.

  • Lighting: A flashlight gives a more directional beam; a lantern is intended to illuminate a broader area. Catalog descriptions establish the feature, not its brightness or runtime.
  • Audio: A radio or Bluetooth speaker can add entertainment or information access outdoors. The catalog does not establish reception quality or speaker performance.
  • Wireless charging: This can reduce the need for a cable, but check the product’s instructions and compatibility details before relying on it.
  • Alternative charging: Solar panels and hand cranks are listed on one example below. Their presence alone does not establish how quickly or reliably they replenish the battery.

Documented examples and their extra functions

Which combination makes sense for your use?

For a simple backup light

A flashlight-and-power-bank combination, such as the catalog-listed Survivor Torch Powerbank 5000, may suit someone who wants two functions in one device. The catalog does not state its light output, runtime, or charging performance, so those details should be checked in the product documentation before purchase.

For camping or a multi-function emergency kit

The Survivor Lantern All-in1 10000 is the most feature-rich documented example: Sandberg lists a lantern, flashlight, FM and DAB radio, Bluetooth speaker, solar charging and hand-crank charging alongside its 10,000 mAh capacity. That breadth may reduce the number of separate devices to pack, but the catalog does not establish how well any function performs or how effective its alternative charging methods are.

Large controls make tuning easier for families and seniors.
  • 3 Charging Modes: Solar, Hand Crank & USB-C Input – Stay powered with USB-C Input, built-in solar panel, or hand crank generator when electricity is unavailable. About 1 minute of steady hand cranking provides 15–20 minutes of radio listening; actual runtime varies by use and cranking speed. The radio can be used while charging via USB-C, but charging may take longer. This Solar Radio and Hand Crank Radio supports hurricane supplies, camping essentials, outdoor adventures, RV trips, survival kits, and 72-hour emergency preparedness. Multiple charging methods keep your emergency radio ready for blackouts, storms, remote travel, and off-grid situations.

For wireless charging and lighting

What the catalog does—and does not—verify

The 2024 catalog documents that these combinations were described by Sandberg. It does not establish that the models are currently sold, give current prices, or provide independent safety certification or performance results. Before choosing one, confirm the exact model and its current manual or listing, including its supported phone-charging methods, output ports, lighting runtime, radio bands, and any limits on simultaneous use. Do not treat a stated capacity as a guarantee of how much charge a particular phone will receive.
