The closest match is Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, because it shares the Dimensions identity and delivers multidirectional arcade shooting. If what you liked most was the surprise of constantly changing rules, choose It Takes Two. It Takes Two: the best match for changing rules

If your favorite part of DIMENSIONS 2 was the feeling that each new section could redefine how you play, It Takes Two is the strongest alternative in this list. If you miss unpredictable action
Choose Dragon’s Dogma 2. Its emergent-gameplay focus addresses the wish for situations that do not feel completely predetermined.
If you miss exploration and difficulty
