Goat Simulator is the closest Xbox match if you want to rampage as an animal, destroy objects and experiment with deliberately erratic physics. Choose Untitled Goose Game if your idea of animal chaos is stealing, sneaking, honking and completing prank-like objectives. Both are listed for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox cloud play; their multiplayer formats are different.
Quick comparison
These two games cover the main interpretations of “games like Rabbit Rampage”: uncontrolled destruction and planned mischief. The Xbox listings describe both as comedic animal sandboxes, but they ask you to play in very different ways.
| Game | Chaos style | Structure | Multiplayer listed on Xbox | Platforms listed |

Why it matches a rampage fantasy
The Xbox description is unusually direct: “Gameplay-wise, Goat Simulator is all about causing as much destruction as you possibly can as a goat.” That makes it the strongest recommendation for anyone who wants to play an animal that knocks over, breaks and disrupts the environment rather than follow a conventional mission structure.

The appeal is not realism. The listing emphasizes intentionally erratic physics, so unexpected launches, collisions and chain reactions are part of the joke. If your favorite moments in an animal game come from trying something reckless and seeing the world react in a surprising way, this is the natural first choice.
How the structure affects your play
Goat Simulator is built around freeform experimentation. You can set your own short-term objective—cause as much wreckage as possible, test how objects react, or simply look for a new absurd interaction—without treating a fixed sequence of tasks as the main attraction. The lack of a prank checklist is a feature for players who want to improvise.
That freedom also means the game may feel less guided than a traditional adventure. If you need a clear route, explicit goals or a puzzle solution for every situation, the open-ended design can seem unfocused. It is better understood as a playground for destruction than as a linear campaign.

Multiplayer choice
The Xbox metadata lists local multiplayer for two to four players. That makes Goat Simulator the better option when a group wants several people participating in the same room and the appeal is collective chaos. The listing does not establish online multiplayer or cross-platform play, so do not assume either feature from the local multiplayer label.
For a party, agree on what kind of session you want before starting. A short “make the biggest mess” round suits the game’s freeform design; a longer session can use self-imposed challenges, such as testing which player can create the most dramatic chain of physical reactions. These are player-created formats rather than official modes documented by the Xbox listing.

Choose Goat Simulator if…
- You want destruction to be the central activity.
- You enjoy physics surprises and glitches used as comedy.
- You prefer making your own objectives instead of following a task list.
- You need local play for more than two people; the Xbox metadata lists two to four players.
- You are looking for the most direct “rampage as an animal” alternative.
Untitled Goose Game: the better fit for prank-first chaos
Why the goose feels different
Xbox calls Untitled Goose Game a “slapstick-stealth-sandbox, where you are a goose let loose on an unsuspecting village.” Its chaos is deliberate rather than purely destructive: you sneak around, steal hats, honk, arrange situations and ruin people’s day.
That difference matters. You still get an unruly animal causing trouble, but the satisfaction comes from setting up a prank and completing an environmental objective. The game is less about demolishing everything in sight and more about noticing how a village can be manipulated.

The village setting gives the game a clearer route than Goat Simulator’s open playground. Xbox describes prank-like goals, so your session naturally becomes a sequence of small problems: identify what needs to happen, work out how to position the goose and objects, then execute the trick without losing the comic tone.
This structure makes Untitled Goose Game a good recommendation for players who want animal mischief with a sense of progress. It remains a sandbox, but the objectives provide direction when you do not want to invent your own challenge.
Two-player co-op
The Xbox listing documents two-player local co-op across the whole game. That is a meaningful distinction from a game that only adds a separate multiplayer mode: the co-op option applies throughout the experience described by the listing. It is therefore the more focused choice for two people who want to plan and perform pranks together.

- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)

The listing does not claim four-player support, online play or cross-platform multiplayer. Treat “two-player local co-op” as the complete confirmed specification when comparing it with other options.

Goat Simulator versus Untitled Goose Game: the important differences
Destruction or manipulation?
Goat Simulator rewards volume and disruption: wreck objects, push the physics system and embrace results that look accidental. Untitled Goose Game rewards control: use the environment, avoid or outsmart people and complete the intended prank. Both are funny animal sandboxes, but one asks “How much can I break?” while the other asks “How can I make this situation worse in exactly the right way?”
Freeform play or guided objectives?
Goat Simulator gives you a playground and lets you define the point of a session. Untitled Goose Game supplies a village and a route of prank-oriented goals. Pick the former if an objective marker feels like pressure; pick the latter if a completely open sandbox leaves you wondering what to do next.
One player, two players or a larger local group?
Both games have multiplayer information in their Xbox metadata, but the capacities are not interchangeable. Goat Simulator lists local multiplayer for two to four players. Untitled Goose Game lists two-player local co-op across the whole game. For two people, either can work; for three or four people on one console, Goat Simulator is the only one of these two with a listed capacity that reaches that group size.
| If your priority is… | Pick | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum physical destruction | Goat Simulator | Its Xbox description makes destruction the central activity. |
| Pranks with a clear objective | Untitled Goose Game | The village and task-like goals provide direction. |
| Physics experimentation | Goat Simulator | Intentionally erratic physics are part of its identity. |
| Stealth-flavored comedy | Untitled Goose Game | Xbox describes it as a slapstick-stealth-sandbox. |
| Two-player co-op through the game | Untitled Goose Game | The listing specifies two-player local co-op across the whole game. |
| Three- or four-player local sessions | Goat Simulator | The Xbox metadata lists local multiplayer for two to four players. |
Which game should you buy first?
For a “rampage as an animal” request
Start with Goat Simulator. Among the two confirmed options, it is the one whose official Xbox description explicitly centers on causing destruction as an animal. It is the closest match when “rampage” means wrecking the surroundings and enjoying unpredictable physics.

For a funny animal sandbox with co-op
Choose based on group size and preferred activity. A pair that wants to coordinate pranks should choose Untitled Goose Game. A larger local group, or a group that wants everyone to contribute to a shared mess, should consider Goat Simulator because its listing reaches four local players.
For children or players who dislike pressure
Neither listing establishes an age rating, accessibility profile or difficulty setting, so those details should be checked on the live Xbox product page before purchase. In terms of structure alone, Goat Simulator’s self-directed format avoids a requirement to solve a particular objective, while Untitled Goose Game’s task-based design can help players who prefer clear goals. The better fit depends on whether freedom or guidance is more comfortable.
For a player who gets bored with open sandboxes
Untitled Goose Game is the safer recommendation. Its village route and prank objectives provide a visible reason to explore. Goat Simulator is better for players who can create their own challenges and enjoy repeating experiments simply to see a different physical reaction.
Xbox support and what to verify before buying
Both Xbox listings show support for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox cloud play. That gives owners of those Xbox ecosystems several ways to access either game, but “cloud play” in a store listing is not a promise that every account, region or subscription has the same entitlement.
- Console generation: Confirm the product page still lists your specific Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S model.
- Cloud access: Check the current listing and your subscription or purchase entitlement; cloud availability can change.
- Multiplayer method: Goat Simulator is listed for two-to-four-player local multiplayer, while Untitled Goose Game is listed for two-player local co-op. Neither supplied listing confirms online multiplayer.
- Region and price: Store prices, taxes, promotions and availability vary by region and can change after publication.
- Edition details: Make sure the page you open corresponds to the edition you intend to buy; the supplied descriptions do not establish bundle contents or downloadable expansions.
How to choose without relying on the title alone
“Animal game” is too broad a category to predict whether you will enjoy a particular sandbox. Use this short decision process instead.
Best Value

- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.

- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
- Define your chaos. If chaos means collisions, wreckage and physics accidents, put Goat Simulator first. If it means sneaking, stealing and embarrassing characters, put Untitled Goose Game first.
- Decide how much structure you want. Choose freeform experimentation for Goat Simulator or objective-led village exploration for Untitled Goose Game.
- Count the players in the room. Two players can use either listed option; three or four local players point to Goat Simulator because its metadata specifies two to four.
- Check the live Xbox page. Verify price, region, cloud entitlement and any current subscription status immediately before purchase.
- Set expectations about online play. The supplied Xbox information confirms local formats, not online or cross-platform modes. Do not buy either game assuming those features.
Common mismatches and how to avoid them
Expecting a conventional action game
Both recommendations are comedy sandboxes rather than standard combat campaigns. Goat Simulator’s point is destruction and erratic physics; Untitled Goose Game’s point is slapstick stealth and pranks. If you want a serious animal adventure with a conventional combat system, these descriptions do not support that expectation.
Assuming both games offer the same kind of multiplayer
“Multiplayer” is not a single feature. Goat Simulator’s listing specifies local play for two to four people. Untitled Goose Game’s listing specifies two-player local co-op across the game. The number of players and the way the mode is described should guide your decision.
Buying for a subscription without checking
Game Pass status and other subscription entitlements are volatile. Neither supplied description establishes a permanent inclusion, so check the current Xbox storefront rather than relying on an old deal, a search result or a third-party list.

Expecting a fixed completion path in Goat Simulator
Goat Simulator is the recommendation for players who enjoy making their own fun. If you need a clearly signposted chain of objectives, Untitled Goose Game’s village and prank goals are more aligned with that preference.
Expecting unrestricted destruction in Untitled Goose Game
Untitled Goose Game is mischievous, not simply destructive. Its appeal is arranging pranks and environmental situations. If your priority is breaking as much as possible, Goat Simulator is the more accurate match.
Bottom line: the best alternative depends on your kind of chaos
For the closest substitute for a chaotic animal rampage on Xbox, choose Goat Simulator. Its destruction-first design, intentionally erratic physics and listed two-to-four-player local multiplayer make it the strongest fit for improvised mayhem.
Choose Untitled Goose Game when you want the chaos to be clever and goal-driven. Its slapstick-stealth sandbox, village objectives and two-player local co-op make it the better prank-focused alternative. Both are listed for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and cloud play, but confirm current regional pricing, availability and subscription status on the live Xbox listing.
