Current survival guidance describes standing water as scarce and warns that some wells may be broken or unreliable. 1. Dashtabad Airbase: the practical early-run target
Destructoid’s guide, published and updated October 15, 2026, places Dashtabad in eastern Nasdara and recommends it for starting out. Search for armor, food, guns and other weapons; Ion Crates may appear when the loot roll is favorable.

2. Nasdara City: the broadest all-purpose resupply
Nasdara City is the strongest general-purpose stop when you need several categories at once: guns, armor, food, healing items and shelter. Its many buildings allow block-by-block looting and give you options if one area is occupied.
Bohemia Interactive’s June 26, 2026 environment post says Nasdara’s cities use multi-story buildings, rooftop access, alleys, clutter and cover to support urban fights. The same post notes that fortified gun stores spawn military loot. That design makes cities and bazaars high-value but highly contested.

- Check exits and adjacent sightlines before entering a building.

- Keep an extraction direction in mind; urban cover can become a trap if every exit is watched.
3. Marek Barq Hydro Dam: combine water, fish and bunker loot
Marek Barq is useful when your run needs hydration and food as much as equipment. The destination offers water and fishing, while a bunker reportedly provides armor and weapons. The same guide identifies enemy presence, so treat the dam as a contact zone rather than a free refill.
Recommended sequence
- Observe the approach and bunker entrances before exposing yourself.
- Secure water and fishing supplies only after checking for nearby threats.
- Decide whether the bunker is worth the fight based on your current armor, ammunition and escape route.
- Leave with a confirmed next water source instead of assuming the dam will remain safe.
4. Qalat E Lut: a remote high-tier gamble
Qalat E Lut takes longer to reach but offers fresh water, a cooking opportunity and, according to the October 15, 2026 Destructoid guide, a high chance of tier 3 and tier 4 loot, potentially including an AKM. “High chance” is qualitative guide language, not a measured drop rate, and the reported weapon can change with server settings or future patches.
Plan this as an expedition: carry water for the entire approach, bring cooking capability, and avoid committing if your route has no fallback source. Its remoteness can reduce incidental contact, but the value of the destination may attract prepared players.

Building a route instead of chasing a ranking
Fresh spawn or lightly equipped
Choose Dashtabad Airbase when it is a reasonable eastern run. Take basic protection, food and weapons, then rotate toward a confirmed water source or Nasdara City.

Use Nasdara City if you can approach it with water and an exit plan. The city’s variety is more useful than any single loot category, but its urban exposure demands slower, cover-based movement.
Low on water or food
Prioritize Marek Barq Hydro Dam. Water and fishing can stabilize the run before you decide whether to contest the bunker.
Already geared and seeking better loot
Attempt Qalat E Lut only with sufficient reserves and a return route. The reported tier 3/tier 4 opportunity is attractive, but it is not an official guaranteed loot table.

Short travel legs are safer than one uninterrupted crossing. Move between recognizable landmarks, pause in shade during intense sunlight, and avoid open roads when nearby terrain offers concealment. Sandstorms can reduce visibility and affect health; goggles and face covering are practical protection, not cosmetic equipment.

For longer transfers, current guidance reports the Jana moped at approximately 70 km/h and the enduro dirt bike at approximately 130 km/h.
