For most buyers, the Roku Pro Series Mini-LED is the strongest all-around Roku-made TV; the Roku Plus Series is the value pick. Neither is right for every room or budget: the Pro’s viewing-angle, reflections, and audio are trade-offs, while the Plus is limited to 60Hz and HDMI 2.0. If you want a lower-cost Roku-made option, the Select Series 4K covers more sizes, but its panel type differs by size.

There is no sound basis here for ranking six individual televisions: available evidence supports these three Roku-made families, not six independently tested, current models. Also, “Roku TV” can refer either to a television made by Roku or one made by another manufacturer that runs Roku software. This guide separates those categories and explains what to check before buying.

Which Roku TV should you choose?

Choice Best fit What to know
Roku Pro Series Mini-LED Best overall among the Roku-made options discussed here 55, 65, and 75 inches; 120Hz; two HDMI 2.1 and two HDMI 2.0 ports. Independent guide notes off-axis viewing, reflections, and built-in audio as drawbacks.
Roku Plus Series Value-oriented 4K viewing 55, 65, and 75 inches; 60Hz and four HDMI 2.0 ports. No HDMI 2.1; check the exact model for feature variations.
Roku Select Series 4K More size choices and a straightforward Roku TV 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches. The 43-inch model is LED; 50–85-inch models are QLED, according to Roku.
Roku Pro OLED Consider if you specifically want an OLED Roku-made set Roku’s family-level chart lists 4K OLED, 120Hz, Dolby Vision/HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos. The available specifications do not establish a head-to-head performance or value winner.

The Pro Mini-LED recommendation reflects Tom’s Guide’s Roku TV guide, updated April 27, 2026; its Plus value pick is from the same guide. These are review-guide judgments, not a claim that every size or specific SKU has been independently compared here. (Tom’s Guide; Roku Support)

What “Roku TV” means before you shop

Roku sells its own television families, including Select, Plus, Pro, and Pro OLED. Other manufacturers also make TVs that use Roku’s operating system. Roku distinguishes Roku-made sets from partner-manufactured Roku TVs and directs owners of partner sets to the manufacturer for product-specific support. The software may be Roku’s, but specifications, warranty, model naming, and support depend on who made the television.

Use Roku’s TV Finder to explore Roku and partner options, then verify the exact model year and model number with the manufacturer. RTINGS notes that fewer outside brands offer Roku-integrated televisions than in the past, so do not assume a familiar manufacturer still has a current Roku model in every size or region. How the Roku-made series differ

Roku Pro Series Mini-LED: the higher-spec pick

The 2025 Pro Series Mini-LED is a QLED set with mini-LED backlighting and a 120Hz panel. TechRadar lists Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, HDR10, and HLG support; Dolby Atmos; four HDMI ports, including two HDMI 2.1; and an ATSC 1.0 tuner. It reports the model released in June 2025. These specifications are for the Mini-LED Pro, not the separate Pro OLED family. (TechRadar)

Tom’s Guide’s 2026 guide also lists 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes, 120Hz, and two HDMI 2.1 plus two HDMI 2.0 ports. It flags weak off-axis viewing, reflective glass, and limited audio support. If viewers sit spread across a wide room, the viewing-angle trade-off matters; if you plan to use an external sound system, check the exact set’s audio connections and your soundbar’s eARC needs.

TechRadar’s review reported launch prices of $899.99 for 55 inches, $1,199.99 for 65 inches, and $1,699.99 for 75 inches. Those are historical launch prices, not current offers. TechRadar describes its own month-long use and lab measurements; those results should be attributed to that publication rather than treated as testing of every size or a current price check.

Roku Plus Series: value, with a 60Hz ceiling

Tom’s Guide’s April 27, 2026 update describes the Plus as a value option, praising its HDR color, sound, and Roku interface while noting so-so brightness. It lists 55-, 65-, and 75-inch models, a 60Hz refresh rate, and four HDMI 2.0 ports; it does not have HDMI 2.1. The 60Hz limit is important if you want a 120Hz gaming display. Roku’s family-level specifications identify Plus as 4K QLED with full-array local dimming and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on select models, so confirm the exact SKU rather than treating every feature as universal. Roku Select Series 4K: check the size-specific panel

Roku lists the Select Series in 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches. The 43-inch version uses an LED panel; the 50- through 85-inch versions use QLED. All are listed as 4K with direct-lit backlighting, HDR10+/HLG, Wi-Fi 5, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Dolby Audio, HDMI/eARC, and an antenna input. The official product page says streaming requires an internet connection and that a separate streaming device is not needed. Check the specific size and model listing before buying instead of assuming all Select TVs use identical panels. (Roku)

Tom’s Guide’s review of the 65R5D5 describes the same size-based panel distinction. It recorded a $379 Best Buy offer against a $449 regular price at review time; those figures are historical and should not be read as current pricing. (Tom’s Guide)

Roku Pro OLED: a distinct family, not a Mini-LED variant

Roku’s support comparison lists Pro OLED as 4K OLED with self-lit pixels, 120Hz, Dolby Vision/HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos. OLED and Mini-LED are different display technologies, and the Pro OLED specifications alone do not establish how it compares in price or measured picture quality with the 2025 Pro Mini-LED. Confirm the exact model, size, and features in the listing. (Roku Support)

Choose by room, gaming needs, and connections

  • For 120Hz gaming: The Pro Mini-LED and Pro OLED families are listed at 120Hz; the Plus is 60Hz. Check the precise model’s HDMI ports and supported gaming features before purchase. The Pro Mini-LED has two HDMI 2.1 ports according to the cited specifications.
  • For a wide seating arrangement: The Pro Mini-LED’s reported off-axis viewing weakness makes it a less obvious fit when people watch from far to the side. Try to assess the set from your actual seating positions if possible.
  • For a bright room or windows opposite the screen: The Pro Mini-LED’s reflective glass is a consideration. Brightness and reflection behavior should be assessed for the exact model; a series name alone cannot tell you how it will look in your room.
  • For built-in sound: The Plus receives favorable sound notes in Tom’s Guide’s guide, while that guide calls the Pro Mini-LED’s audio support limited. If sound quality is a priority, check the set’s audio outputs and whether your setup needs eARC or a separate sound system.
  • For broadcast television: The Pro Mini-LED specifications cited by TechRadar include an ATSC 1.0 tuner. Roku’s Select product page lists an antenna input. Check the exact set and your region’s broadcast standard if you intend to connect an antenna.
  • For mounting: Verify the specific TV’s VESA pattern, weight, stand dimensions, and wall-mount clearance against your mount and furniture. The series-level evidence here does not establish one universal fit across sizes.

What to verify on the listing before checkout

  1. Read the full model number and year. “Roku Pro” can refer to different display families; distinguish Pro Mini-LED from Pro OLED and confirm the exact size.
  2. Check panel and refresh rate for that size. Select’s 43-inch LED differs from its larger QLED models, and Plus is 60Hz while the Pro families are listed at 120Hz.
  3. Count the ports you will use. Confirm HDMI 2.1 availability and port count for consoles or PCs, and check eARC if connecting an audio system.
  4. Match HDR and audio claims to the SKU. Some family-level features are stated only for select models; do not infer every format from the series name.
  5. Check retailer, price, stock, and return terms on the day you buy. Launch and review-time prices are not current quotes, and availability or bundles can vary by retailer and location.

Bottom line

Choose the Roku Pro Series Mini-LED if you want the strongest documented mix of 120Hz, mini-LED, and HDMI 2.1 and can live with the cited viewing-angle, reflection, and audio trade-offs. Consider the Plus for a value-focused 60Hz set, or the Select when its range of sizes and straightforward 4K Roku setup suit your needs. Treat third-party Roku TVs as a separate buying category and verify each maker’s current model details.
