Qingxiao’s best-supported team in Wuthering Waves is Qingxiao, Denia, and Mornye. It centers on her Tune Strain damage plan, with Denia helping set up Tune Strain and Mornye supporting the team. If you do not have Denia, Qingxiao, Lynae, and Mornye is the leading alternative in current guides.
Best overall team: Qingxiao, Denia, and Mornye
This is the clearest default recommendation across the available team guides. Prydwen describes Denia and Mornye as Qingxiao’s intended best team; LDShop calls the trio her strongest and most comfortable Tune Strain composition, and WaveKit recommends it as well. These are guide assessments, not a universal ranking for every account or investment level.
- Qingxiao: the main damage dealer, whose damage plan uses Tune Strain and Mindlock.
- Denia: the Tune Strain setup partner.
- Mornye: team support who helps the composition reach its preferred state and provides buffs.
The fit comes from Qingxiao’s mechanics: Prydwen says teammates that apply additional Tune Strain and enable faster Tune Breaks improve her damage, while Mindlock amplifies much of her attack damage. Prydwen’s Qingxiao guide explains the character’s kit and team recommendations.

Alternatives if you are missing a character
Use Lynae instead of Denia
Qingxiao, Lynae, and Mornye is the leading alternative identified by Prydwen and WaveKit. Lynae is presented as another setup partner, while Mornye remains the preferred support when available. WaveKit’s Qingxiao guide lists its recommended teams.
#1 Best Overall
- Compatible with Windows and Android.
- 1000Hz Polling Rate (for 2.4G and wired connection)
- Hall Effect joysticks and Hall triggers. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings.
- Extra R4/L4 bumpers. Custom button mapping without using software. Turbo function.
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light but tactile.
Replace Mornye in the Lynae team
If your team is Qingxiao and Lynae but you do not have Mornye, Prydwen names Ciaccona or Shorekeeper as support replacements, with limited team damage loss according to that guide. Treat this as a guide-specific comparison rather than a guarantee for every build or encounter.
Use an Aero-oriented fallback
If you want a more traditional Aero composition rather than building around Tune Strain, LDShop suggests Qingxiao, Ciaccona or Aalto, and a healer such as Shorekeeper. LDShop notes that Mornye is relatively less valuable in this route because it bypasses the Tune Strain plan. This is a fallback, not the consensus top team. See LDShop’s Qingxiao team guide.

It introduces powerful new features such as gyro settings, stick curve adjustments, and button-to-mouse mapping, giving you deeper customization and more control than ever before.
How to choose for your account
- Have Denia and Mornye? Start with Qingxiao, Denia, and Mornye for the strongest cross-guide support.
- Missing Denia? Try Qingxiao, Lynae, and Mornye.
- Missing Mornye? In the Lynae composition, consider Ciaccona or Shorekeeper; for a different play direction, use the Aero-oriented fallback.
- Decide which plan you want: the leading teams reinforce Qingxiao’s Tune Strain setup, while the Aero fallback is described as a route that bypasses it.
No guide can account for every player’s roster, build investment, and preferred play style, so the “best” team for an individual account can differ from the consensus recommendation.
Keep Qingxiao on the field during her enhanced Heavy Attack
If you enter Qingxiao’s enhanced Heavy Attack state, do not switch to another Resonator during that window: Prydwen says switching ends the enhancement. Plan your rotations so teammates can set up the state before Qingxiao takes her damage window. The mechanic is described in Prydwen’s character guide.

Weapon context and guide freshness
WaveKit names Glint of Clouds as Qingxiao’s best current weapon and lists Emerald of Genesis, Somnoire Anchor, and Lunar Cutter as alternatives. These are in-game weapons; the recommendation does not change which teammates best support her core Tune Strain plan.
Rankings should be treated as patch-sensitive guidance. Prydwen reports a profile update dated 15 September 2026 and a last major calculation update for Patch 3.6; LDShop’s team guide is dated 24 July 2026; and WaveKit labels its data Version 3.6 live data while calling its team order a work-in-progress benchmark. Revisit team advice after a game patch or character changes. WaveKit’s guide provides its version context.
