The best choice depends on whether you care most about browsing, video, gaming, or mixed active use, and results from different testing methods should not be treated as one universal ranking.
Longest-lasting phones in Tom’s Guide’s battery test
The table lists the test times published by Tom’s Guide in its roundup, last updated March 11, 2026. These are results from its scripted web-browsing test, not guaranteed everyday runtimes. Tom’s Guide notes that older devices in the list were tested with a previous version of its test, while newer models use an updated version; the figures therefore are not all directly comparable.

How to choose the right battery-life comparison
- Match the test to your routine. Browsing time is useful for someone who spends much of the day on websites; video and gaming results better represent those heavier, sustained activities. Calls, standby, and mixed daily use are different workloads.
- Compare within one publisher and test generation. Tom’s Guide’s roundup contains results from two test versions, so its position order is useful as a shortlist, not a perfectly controlled comparison across every model.
- Read the conditions with the number. Tom’s Guide sets screens to 150 nits and uses a script to browse the web in the default browser until the phone runs out of power. It says its rankings reflect default settings and it may test different refresh rates to understand their effect.
- Treat mAh as context, not a rank. Capacity alone does not establish how long a complete phone will last under your workload; use a test result that matches the activity you care about.

- Check the exact version available to you. Before buying, verify the model variant, local network bands, software support, price, and regional stock. These details can differ by market.

Which phone has the best battery backup?
For the longest result in the cited Tom’s Guide roundup, the OnePlus 15 leads at 25:13 in that publisher’s web-browsing test. The result is not a guarantee of the longest real-world battery life for every person: the test versions differ across models, and other activities produce different outcomes. Use the workload results that most resemble your own routine, then confirm the exact regional model and its availability.
