There is no evidence-backed way to name ten distinct “best” OLED TVs for 2026 from the available U.S.-focused comparisons. The clearest choices are the LG C6 as a versatile mid-range candidate, Samsung’s S95H as a premium option that reviewers favor for bright rooms and gaming, and Sony’s BRAVIA 8 II for movie viewers who prioritize Dolby Vision and image processing. The right pick depends on your room, formats, gaming needs, screen size, and the price of the exact model you can buy.

How to choose an OLED TV in 2026

Start with the conditions that will shape everyday viewing rather than a universal ranking. OLED models can differ in bright-room performance, supported HDR formats, gaming features, sizes, and price. Review findings are also specific to the models and comparisons tested; they are not guarantees for every size or regional version.

  • For a bright room: look for independent testing of brightness and reflection handling. Manufacturer claims about anti-glare technology are not the same as comparative test results.
  • For gaming: check the exact TV’s HDMI 2.1 inputs, supported refresh rates, and variable refresh rate (VRR), then confirm that your console or PC can use those features.
  • For movies: verify the HDR formats you use, including Dolby Vision, on the precise regional model. Processing and physical-media format support may also matter.
  • For value: compare the current price of the same size and model year, along with stock and warranty. A launch MSRP is not a street-price estimate.
  • For fit: measure the room and viewing distance, and make sure a retailer’s model code matches the size and version you intend to buy.

Shortlist: the OLED TVs with the clearest 2026 use cases

This is a shortlist, not a ten-place ranking. Current comparisons identify a handful of candidates and meaningful distinctions, but do not establish ten independently tested winners.

LG C6: a versatile mid-range candidate

LG Electronics USA announced the 2026 C6 in 42-, 48-, 55-, 65-, 77-, and 83-inch sizes, with U.S. MSRP starting at $1,399. That is launch pricing, not a statement of today’s retail price. LG lists Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and 4K 165Hz VRR among the model’s features; check the product listing for your size and regional code before relying on a specification. LG’s C6 announcement

Samsung S95H: premium candidate for bright rooms and gaming

Samsung Electronics America announced the S95H as its 2026 U.S. flagship OLED series. RTINGS calls it the best OLED it tested in 2026 and reports advantages over the LG G6 in bright-room handling and gaming. Treat that as RTINGS’ comparison, not a universal verdict across all sizes and markets. Samsung says its 2026 range includes Glare Free technology; that is a manufacturer claim, not independent confirmation of how well a particular screen handles reflections. Samsung S90H and S85H: other 2026 lineup options

Samsung’s U.S. announcement identifies the S90H and S85H alongside the S95H, with the announced range reaching 83 inches. Tom’s Guide reports four HDMI 2.1 inputs and gaming support up to 165Hz for the S90H; verify those details on the product page for the exact size and regional version before buying. What Hi-Fi? characterizes the S85H as an entry-level option and flags its built-in speakers as weak in its review coverage. Those distinctions help narrow a shortlist, but do not establish a universal “best value” or “best entry-level” winner. Match the shortlist to your priorities

Priority Candidate to investigate What the evidence says—and what to verify
Versatile mid-range use LG C6 RTINGS includes it among 2026 recommendations; LG announced multiple sizes and features. Its $1,399 starting MSRP is U.S. launch pricing, not a current retail quote. Confirm specifications for the exact size and regional code.
Bright-room viewing or gaming Samsung S95H RTINGS favors it over the LG G6 for these areas in its comparison. Findings are reviewer-specific; Samsung’s Glare Free claim is manufacturer-provided.
Movie viewing with Dolby Vision and processing priorities Sony BRAVIA 8 II RTINGS identifies these as reasons to consider it. Check format support on the local model.
More Samsung lineup choices Samsung S90H or S85H Tom’s Guide reports gaming specifications for the S90H; What Hi-Fi? describes the S85H as entry-level and criticizes its built-in speakers. Verify exact SKU details and compare current prices.
Physical-media format support LG G6 RTINGS describes an advantage in its comparison. Check the formats and model version you need.

Check size, model code, and price before buying

  1. Choose a screen size that fits the room. The announced U.S. LG C6 range runs from 42 to 83 inches. Samsung says its 2026 OLED range reaches 83 inches. Do not assume every series is sold in every size; check the listing for your chosen series.
  2. Match the regional model code. Names and specifications can change across markets, as the S95H/S99H distinction illustrates. Use the local manufacturer product page or exact retailer model code to confirm what is included.
  3. Check the features you will actually use. For gaming, look for the inputs and refresh-rate support required by your equipment. For films, verify the HDR formats you watch. Do not infer features from another size or region.
  4. Compare current offers for like-for-like TVs. Match model year and screen size, and account for stock and warranty. The announced C6 starting MSRP is useful launch context only; offers and availability change.
