There is no single, clearly established “Neon memory card” range. The name most plausibly refers to the HIKSEMI NEO PLUS, a consumer microSD card available from 32 GB to 1 TB. Integral Memory’s Neon-C products are USB-C flash drives, not memory cards. Confirm the model, physical format and host-device requirements before ordering; otherwise, a product with “Neon” in its name may not fit your camera, phone, console or recorder at all.
Why “Neon memory card” is an ambiguous search term
“Neon” and “NEO” appear in more than one storage product name. That distinction matters because a microSD card and a USB flash drive use different connectors, fit different devices and are bought for different jobs.
- HIKSEMI NEO PLUS (HS-TF-E1): a consumer microSD card. The listed range includes 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB capacities.
- Integral Memory Neon-C: a USB-C flash drive. The shop lists capacities from 32 GB to 1 TB and read speeds up to 150 MB/s, but it is not a memory card.
The two product families should not be compared as if they were interchangeable. A USB-C drive cannot replace a microSD card in a device with a microSD slot, and a microSD card cannot substitute for a USB drive unless the host has a compatible card reader or adapter.
This article therefore treats the HIKSEMI NEO PLUS as the possible card intended by the title, while keeping the Integral Neon-C products clearly separated. No exact marketplace listing, live price or independent benchmark has been established for the card, so any purchase decision should begin with model verification rather than the colour or “Neon” wording in a listing title.

HIKSEMI NEO PLUS specifications at a glance
The following figures are the manufacturer specifications reported for the NEO PLUS product, not results from an independent laboratory test. The product page’s year was not stated, and the figures should be checked against the current listing for the exact capacity you plan to buy.
| Specification | HIKSEMI NEO PLUS (HS-TF-E1) | What it means for a buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Physical format | microSD | Fits a microSD slot; larger SD slots require a suitable adapter supplied or purchased separately. |
| Host interface stated | microSDHC/SDXC UHS-I devices | Check that the host explicitly supports the card’s capacity and UHS-I interface. |
| Capacities | 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB | Choose the smallest capacity that covers your workload and is supported by the host. |
| Speed class | Class 10 | Indicates the card’s stated class rating; it is not the same as a guaranteed transfer rate in every device. |
| Bus/interface | UHS-I | The host reader must support UHS-I to make full use of the interface. |
| Maximum read speed | Up to 95 MB/s | A manufacturer maximum under specified conditions, not a promise that every device will reach 95 MB/s. |
| Maximum write speed | Up to 60 MB/s, varying by capacity | Verify the write figure for the particular capacity; the maximum is not stated as universal across the range. |
| NAND type | TLC NAND | A component-level description supplied by the product information; it does not by itself predict performance in your device. |
| Warranty | Seven years | Keep the receipt and check the seller’s and manufacturer’s warranty conditions, exclusions and claim process. |
| Price | Not stated | Live pricing was not established, so value should be judged from the current verified listing. |
The read and write numbers need careful interpretation. HIKSEMI describes them as maximum manufacturer specifications and notes that performance may vary with capacity, system configuration, firmware, workload and operating conditions. In practical terms, the card, reader, operating system, file sizes and temperature can all affect the result. A benchmark run on one computer is not a guarantee for a camera or handheld console.
Check device compatibility before choosing a capacity
Capacity is only useful when the host device can address it. A device may accept a microSD card physically yet reject a capacity or filesystem it was not designed to use. Follow this order of checks.

- Identify the slot. Confirm that the device has a microSD slot, not only a full-size SD slot, SIM tray or USB port. If it has a full-size SD slot, verify whether the manufacturer permits a microSD-to-SD adapter.
- Read the host’s capacity limit. Look in the device manual or support page for its maximum microSDHC or microSDXC capacity. Do not assume that a device accepting 32 GB will also accept 512 GB or 1 TB.
- Match the interface. The NEO PLUS listing identifies the card as UHS-I. The host should support microSDHC/SDXC and UHS-I; an older reader can impose a lower speed even when the card itself is faster.
- Confirm the required filesystem. Cameras, recorders, consoles and embedded devices may require a particular format or may format the card themselves. Back up existing files before allowing a device to reformat it.
- Check operating conditions. If the device will be used in a hot vehicle, outdoor camera or continuously recording system, consult the host maker’s environmental and endurance guidance. The available NEO PLUS information does not establish a separate endurance rating.
For a phone, tablet or computer, also check whether the operating system treats the card as removable storage or allows it to be adopted as internal storage. That choice changes how the card is formatted and whether it can be moved safely between devices.

What the speed claims do—and do not—tell you
Read speed
“Up to 95 MB/s read” describes the fastest sequential reading HIKSEMI claims under suitable conditions. It can reduce the time needed to copy large files when the host reader is capable of UHS-I performance. It does not mean every small-file operation, app launch or in-camera preview will run at 95 MB/s.
Write speed
The listing says maximum write speeds vary by capacity, reaching up to 60 MB/s. Write performance matters when recording video, saving burst photographs, installing games or copying data onto the card. Because the figure varies by capacity, do not use the 60 MB/s maximum as the write specification for every version.
Class 10 and UHS-I
Class 10 is the speed-class marking supplied for the card. UHS-I identifies the bus interface generation. Neither label guarantees that a particular camera will sustain the manufacturer’s maximum sequential number. The host controller, firmware, workload and card capacity can all become the limiting factor.
Why independent testing matters
No dated, independently verified benchmark for a Neon or NEO memory card has been established here. Treat the published figures as claims to compare, not as measured proof of a particular real-world transfer rate. If sustained recording is critical, verify the exact model in the device maker’s compatibility list and test a card from the seller’s return period before committing it to an important workflow.

Choosing between 32 GB and 1 TB
The NEO PLUS range spans six capacities. The right choice depends on the host’s supported maximum, the size and number of files, how often you can offload data and the cost of replacing a failed card.
| Capacity | When it can make sense | Questions to answer first |
|---|---|---|
| 32 GB | Light documents, modest photo storage or an older device with a low capacity limit. | Does the host require more than 32 GB, or does it support only a specific card family? |
| 64 GB | A moderate removable-storage requirement where the device supports the format. | Will the device format this capacity correctly, and is it enough between backups? |
| 128 GB | A general-purpose middle option for larger photo, video or game libraries. | Does the host list 128 GB as supported, and can your reader handle UHS-I? |
| 256 GB | Longer recording sessions or a larger library without moving to the highest capacities. | Can you back up the data before the card fills, and is the device’s limit at least 256 GB? |
| 512 GB | Large local libraries and workloads where frequent swapping is inconvenient. | Is 512 GB explicitly supported, and do you have a backup plan for a large single volume? |
| 1 TB | The maximum listed NEO PLUS capacity for a host that explicitly supports it. | Does the device support 1 TB microSDXC media, and is the current listing for the 1 TB version genuine? |
Capacity labels should not be treated as a substitute for a backup. A single removable card is still one point of failure. For irreplaceable photos, recordings or project files, copy data to another storage location and verify that the copy opens before deleting the original.
Do not confuse Integral Neon-C with a memory card
Integral Memory’s Neon-C line is a separate product category. The shop lists USB-C flash drives in capacities from 32 GB through 1 TB, with stated read speeds up to 150 MB/s. The connector is USB-C, so the drive is intended for a compatible USB port rather than a microSD slot.
| Attribute | HIKSEMI NEO PLUS | Integral Neon-C |
|---|---|---|
| Product type | microSD memory card | USB-C flash drive |
| Capacities listed | 32 GB to 1 TB | 32 GB to 1 TB |
| Stated maximum read speed | Up to 95 MB/s | Up to 150 MB/s |
| Connector/interface | microSD; UHS-I host support stated | USB-C |
| Can it directly replace the other? | No; it needs a microSD-compatible host | No; it needs a compatible USB-C port or adapter |
| Warranty | Seven years stated for NEO PLUS | Not stated in the available product information |
The 150 MB/s figure belongs to the Neon-C USB drive and must not be presented as memory-card performance. Integral’s shop also lists actual SD and microSD cards, so inspect the product type and connector in any listing before checkout.

How to verify a listing before you buy
Because the exact marketplace listing and live price have not been established, use the following checks to avoid buying the wrong product or a mislabelled capacity.
- Look for the exact model identifier HS-TF-E1, not merely “Neon,” “NEO” or a colour description.
- Confirm that the item is a microSD card, not a USB-C drive, SD adapter alone or bundle with an unspecified card.
- Match the listed capacity to the one supported by your host device.
- Check that the listing states Class 10 and UHS-I if those are requirements for your equipment.
- Read the write-speed line for the exact capacity. “Up to 60 MB/s” is a range maximum, not proof that every capacity reaches it.
- Confirm the seller, return period and warranty route. A seven-year manufacturer warranty does not automatically describe every marketplace seller’s policy.
- Be cautious of a price that is dramatically below comparable cards, a capacity that the manufacturer does not list, or packaging that omits the model number.
- Save the invoice and packaging until the card passes a capacity and file-transfer check.
Safe setup and verification after purchase
- Inspect before inserting. Check the contacts and plastic body for damage. Do not force the card into the slot; align the keyed edge with the device diagram.
- Back up anything already on the card. If it contains files, copy them elsewhere before formatting.
- Format in the target device when practical. A camera, recorder or console may create the filesystem and folder structure it expects. Use the device’s own format command rather than changing settings casually on a computer.
- Run a capacity check. On a computer, use a reputable read/write verification utility that fills the card with test data and reads it back. This can reveal a counterfeit or defective capacity before you trust it with important files; it will erase the test card.
- Copy representative files. Transfer both large files and many small files, then open or hash-check the copies. Observe whether the host reports errors, disconnects or unexpectedly low throughput.
- Test the real workload. If you plan continuous video or burst photography, record for at least the longest session you expect and review the files on the target device.
- Create a backup routine. Set a calendar reminder or workflow trigger to offload the card before it is full. Do not use a removable card as the only copy of valuable data.
Common problems and practical fixes
The device says the card is unsupported
Recheck the host’s maximum capacity and whether it supports microSDHC or microSDXC. A physically identical card can still be outside the device’s supported range. Update the host firmware only through the manufacturer’s documented process, then format the card in the host if the manual permits it. If the device still rejects it, test the card in a known-compatible reader and contact the seller before the return period expires.
The card appears smaller than its label
Computers report usable capacity differently because of formatting and reserved space, but a major discrepancy is not normal. Run a full write/read capacity test. Stop using the card for important data if verification fails; retain evidence and request a replacement or refund.

The advertised number is a maximum read specification. A USB 2.0 reader, older host controller, small files, encryption, background tasks, firmware or heat can reduce throughput. Test with a UHS-I-capable reader and a large sequential file, then compare results rather than judging the card from a phone’s file manager.

Video recording stops or files are corrupted
Check that the camera supports the card’s capacity and required speed class. Reformat in the camera, remove the card from other devices and repeat a sustained recording test. If failures continue, replace the card and preserve the original for a warranty claim; do not keep using a card that has already produced corrupt files.
The card works in a computer but not in the camera or console
That usually points to host compatibility, formatting or firmware rather than the card’s headline speed. Follow the device maker’s format procedure, verify the supported capacity and test without an adapter if one is in use. A generic computer reader can accept media that a specialized host does not.
Who should consider the NEO PLUS—and who should wait
It may fit your needs when
- Your device explicitly supports microSDHC or microSDXC UHS-I media at the capacity you want.
- You need a removable card rather than a USB-C drive.
- The stated Class 10 rating and up-to-95 MB/s read claim are appropriate starting specifications for your workload.
- A seven-year stated warranty is valuable to you and you can document the purchase.
Choose a different product category when
- Your device has only USB-C and no card slot; a USB-C flash drive is the relevant form factor.
- Your host requires a newer interface, a documented application-performance class or a specialist endurance rating that the available NEO PLUS information does not establish.
- You need independently measured sustained performance before deploying the card in a critical recording workflow.
- The listing cannot prove the exact model, capacity or seller warranty.
Bottom line: verify the product before judging its performance
The HIKSEMI NEO PLUS is the clearest match for a “Neon memory card” search: it is a Class 10 UHS-I microSD card listed from 32 GB to 1 TB, with manufacturer maximums of up to 95 MB/s read and up to 60 MB/s write depending on capacity, plus a stated seven-year warranty. Those figures are not independent benchmark results and are limited by the host device and operating conditions. Integral Memory’s Neon-C, meanwhile, is a USB-C flash drive, not a card. Buy only after confirming the model, connector, supported capacity, exact speed claim and warranty terms in the current listing.
