Choose Critical Ops if you want the nearest documented bomb-plant-and-defuse loop; choose Call of Duty: Mobile for the widest mix of 5v5, battle royale, and other shooter modes; choose Arena Breakout or Delta Force if survival, looting, and extraction matter more than defending a fixed site.

Rainbow Six Mobile is no longer an unreleased game. Ubisoft announced worldwide availability on iOS and Android on 23 February 2026. Its core proposition is round-based attacker-versus-defender combat with gadgets, breaching tools, traps, cameras, Bomb, Bomb Rush, Team Deathmatch, Quick Play, Ranked, and Private matches. The alternatives below are therefore organized by the part of that loop you want to keep, rather than by an unsupported claim that any game is an identical replacement.

What “instead of Rainbow Six Mobile” means in 2026

Rainbow Six Mobile became available worldwide for free on iOS and Android on 23 February 2026, according to Ubisoft’s launch announcement. Ubisoft describes five-versus-five tactical action built around attacking or defending objectives, with Siege-inspired maps, more than 20 Operators, breaching devices, traps, cameras, and several match formats.

That makes a useful alternative question more specific than “Which mobile FPS is best?” A player may be looking for one of four different things:

  • Bomb rounds: a compact match in which one side plants a device and the other side stops or defuses it.
  • A broad mobile shooter: several competitive modes, ranked play, social features, and possibly battle royale in one app.
  • Extraction tension: enter an area, search for valuable equipment, decide when to leave, and risk losing the run.
  • Larger battles: extraction combined with a separate mode built around much bigger teams and battlefields.

The games below satisfy different versions of that request. Official descriptions establish their modes and objectives, but they do not establish which has the healthiest matchmaking, the best device performance, the deepest skill ceiling, or the largest active population. Treat “best” here as best fit for a stated play style, not as a measured global ranking.

Quick comparison

Game Primary fit Documented objective or modes Team scale stated by official material Platform notes
Critical Ops Bomb-defusal rounds Defuse, Deathmatch, Gun Game. In Defuse, Breach plants and defends the bomb while Coalition tries to stop them; a round can also end when one team is eliminated. Opposing Defuse teams; a numeric player count is not stated in the supplied material. iOS 15.0 or later and Android 7.0 or later listed on its site. Verify the current store listing in your region.
Call of Duty: Mobile Most mode variety in one shooter 5v5 multiplayer including Search & Destroy, other multiplayer formats, battle royale, and the separately described DMZ: Recon PvPvE extraction mode. 5v5 for the listed multiplayer modes; other modes use different structures. Official support is listed for Android, iPhone, and iPad. An internet connection is required.
Arena Breakout Focused loot-and-extract play Find guns, attachments, and supplies; choose stealth or direct combat; escape the combat area alive. The current site features Season 13 and a cooperative PvE extraction mode in Misty Valley. Squad and mode structures vary; a single universal team size is not stated. Check the live mobile-store listing for your device, region, and current update.
Delta Force Extraction plus large-team warfare Operations extraction: reach an extraction point and secure supplies. Mobile Warfare: all-out 24-versus-24 combat. 24v24 is stated for Mobile Warfare; Operations uses a separate squad-based structure. Check the current mobile listing and regional access before installing.

1. Critical Ops: the clearest bomb-defusal substitute

Why it fits

Critical Ops is the most direct documented choice in this group if your favorite part of Siege is the bomb objective itself. Its official Defuse description assigns opposing roles: The Breach aims to plant and defend the bomb, while Coalition tries to stop the plant or defuse it. A round may also finish when one team eliminates the other. That creates the familiar tension of an objective clock, information about the enemy’s position, and a reason to preserve enough players to execute or stop a final push.

The game is mobile-built rather than a port described as a desktop experience. Alongside Defuse, its official mode list includes Deathmatch and Gun Game. Those additional modes let you practice weapons or play without a bomb, but they do not turn the entire game into an attacker-versus-defender simulator.

What it does not establish

Nothing in the cited Defuse description establishes destructible environments, operator abilities, cameras, traps, breaching gadgets, or a roster comparable to Rainbow Six Mobile. It is more accurate to call Critical Ops the closest documented bomb-defusal loop in this set than to call it a Siege clone. If your priority is coordinated gadget use or map destruction, you should expect a different tactical vocabulary.

Who should pick it

  • Players who want short, repeatable rounds centered on planting or stopping one device.
  • Players who prefer a focused competitive FPS over a game that also contains battle royale or extraction systems.
  • Players whose phone or tablet meets the listed minimum operating systems.

Device requirement

Critical Ops lists iOS 15.0 or later and Android 7.0 or later on its site. Those are operating-system requirements, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate, graphics setting, or matchmaking experience. Confirm the current storefront listing for your country before downloading, because store availability and requirements can change.

2. Call of Duty: Mobile: the broadest menu of shooter modes

Why it fits

Call of Duty: Mobile is the practical choice when “alternative” means having several kinds of shooter in one free-to-play app. Activision lists Android, iPhone, and iPad support, customizable controls, ranked play, social features, and an internet requirement. Its official page describes 5v5 multiplayer and names Search & Destroy, the mode whose attack-and-defense structure most obviously overlaps with a bomb-round preference.

Search & Destroy is only one part of the product. The same official material lists other multiplayer formats and a battle-royale offering. A separate official description presents DMZ: Recon as PvPvE looting, survival, and extraction. That separation matters: a Search & Destroy match asks you to win a compact team round, while DMZ: Recon asks you to manage enemies, supplies, survival, and an exit. Calling the whole game a close Siege replacement would blur those materially different loops.

How to use it as a Siege alternative

  1. Start with 5v5 Search & Destroy if the bomb objective is the reason you are leaving Siege Mobile. Treat the mode as the closest relevant slice, not a description of every playlist.
  2. Move to other multiplayer modes when you want faster respawns or a different team objective. The official page lists multiple formats, so check the in-game mode selector rather than assuming every match is Search & Destroy.
  3. Try battle royale when you want a larger survival space and a different pacing model.
  4. Use DMZ: Recon separately if your interest is PvPvE looting and extraction. Its risk-and-escape decision is not the same as planting or defusing a bomb.

Who should pick it

  • Players who want one installation to cover competitive 5v5, battle royale, and an extraction-oriented mode.
  • Players who value customizable controls, ranked play, and social features documented by Activision.
  • Players willing to check storage, network, and current update requirements on their own device rather than assuming that platform support guarantees smooth performance.

3. Arena Breakout: when survival and extraction replace the bomb site

The core loop

Arena Breakout’s official site frames every run around finding guns, attachments, and supplies, choosing stealth or direct combat, and escaping the combat area alive. The decisive question is not “Can my team take the site?” but “How much can we safely collect, and when should we leave?” Staying longer may produce better equipment, yet it also creates more opportunities to lose the run before extraction.

The current site features Season 13 and a cooperative PvE extraction mode in Misty Valley. Those details indicate an ongoing live-service structure and a mode that can let a squad practice extraction decisions against computer-controlled opposition, but they do not prove a particular update schedule, population level, or performance profile on your phone.

How it differs from Siege-style rounds

Decision Bomb-focused round Arena Breakout extraction run
Main objective Plant, defend, stop, or defuse a device. Gather valuable equipment and reach an extraction point alive.
Risk timing Pressure rises around a fixed round clock and site assault. Pressure rises as you carry more loot and decide whether to stay or leave.
Combat choice Coordinate a push or hold around a known objective. Use stealth or direct combat while navigating the wider run.
Failure cost Lose the round and reset for the next one. Failing to extract can jeopardize the run’s gathered equipment, depending on the current rules.

Because the official description emphasizes extraction rather than bomb sites, Arena Breakout is a poor fit if your only requirement is attacker-versus-defender defusal. It is a strong fit for a player who wants deliberate movement, inventory decisions, and the suspense of carrying loot toward an exit.

4. Delta Force: extraction plus 24v24 warfare

Operations mode

Delta Force’s official site describes Operations as an extraction mode in which a squad reaches an extraction point and secures supplies. That puts it in the same broad family as Arena Breakout: survival and successful escape are the win conditions, not control of a single bomb site. The squad structure also changes how you evaluate a fight; preserving enough teammates to reach the exit can matter more than taking every engagement.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Mobile Warfare mode

The same official site separately advertises Mobile Warfare as all-out 24-versus-24 combat. This is a major scale change from a small attack-and-defense round. It can suit someone who wants a large battlefield and constant team activity, but it should not be presented as evidence that Delta Force reproduces Siege Mobile’s five-versus-five structure.

Who should pick it

  • Players who want extraction objectives and a separate large-team mode in the same broader shooter.
  • Players who find compact bomb rounds too restrictive and want a 24v24 battlefield option.
  • Players comfortable switching mental models between Operations’ extraction decisions and Mobile Warfare’s large-scale combat.

Official descriptions do not establish how closely either mode feels to Siege, how many players are available in a given region, or how the game performs on a particular handset. Verify the live mobile listing, update version, and regional access before committing storage or data.

Objective loop: choose the decision you want to repeat

The most reliable way to choose among these games is to identify the decision that sounds fun every few minutes, not to compare promotional labels.

Pick bomb plant and defuse

Choose Critical Ops for the clearest documented Defuse mode. Choose Call of Duty: Mobile only if you specifically intend to play its 5v5 Search & Destroy mode and also want the other playlists available in the same app. Neither description proves the presence of Siege’s destructible maps, operator gadgets, or camera-and-trap ecosystem.

Pick broad multiplayer variety

Choose Call of Duty: Mobile when switching among 5v5 modes, battle royale, and DMZ: Recon is more valuable than maintaining one narrow competitive format. Remember that these modes have different pacing, team structures, and objectives; progress or comfort in one does not automatically transfer to another.

Pick loot, survival, and extraction

Choose Arena Breakout if your ideal session is searching for equipment, deciding between stealth and direct combat, and extracting alive. Choose Delta Force if you want that type of Operations mode plus a separately advertised 24v24 Mobile Warfare mode.

Platform, network, and installation checks

Platform support is not the same as guaranteed compatibility. Before installing any of these titles, use this checklist:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Check the current store page. Confirm that the title is listed for your country and that your phone or tablet appears as compatible.
  2. Confirm the operating system. Critical Ops lists iOS 15.0+ and Android 7.0+. Call of Duty: Mobile officially lists Android, iPhone, and iPad support. The supplied descriptions do not provide a universal minimum OS for Arena Breakout or Delta Force.
  3. Install the latest update. Live-service games can change modes, requirements, and regional access after an article is published.
  4. Plan for an internet connection. Activision explicitly says Call of Duty: Mobile requires internet. Multiplayer and extraction games generally depend on network access, so check each store listing and publisher support page for current requirements.
  5. Leave storage headroom. The cited material does not provide a shared install-size figure. Reserve additional space for updates instead of treating the initial download size as permanent.
  6. Check input options yourself. The supplied evidence does not establish common controller support across these games. Do not buy a controller, grip, earbuds, cooling accessory, or finger sleeves on the assumption that every title supports the same inputs.

What the available evidence cannot tell you

Official mode descriptions are useful for identifying objectives, but they are not independent performance tests. No shared, independently measured evidence in the supplied material establishes player populations, queue times, matchmaking health, cheating rates, device thermals, frame rates, battery drain, skill depth, or comparative quality. Those properties can also vary by region, device, network, playlist, and update.

Accordingly, avoid conclusions such as “this has the biggest community,” “that runs best on every phone,” or “this is objectively the best mobile tactical shooter.” A defensible recommendation is narrower: Critical Ops is the documented bomb-defusal fit; Call of Duty: Mobile offers the broadest officially described menu; Arena Breakout centers on loot and extraction; Delta Force combines extraction with a stated 24v24 mode.

A practical decision path

  1. Ask whether the bomb is non-negotiable. If yes, install Critical Ops first. If you also want many unrelated modes, use Call of Duty: Mobile and select Search & Destroy rather than treating its battle royale or extraction content as the same experience.
  2. Ask whether you want to carry loot out. If yes, compare Arena Breakout’s stealth-or-direct-combat extraction loop with Delta Force Operations.
  3. Ask whether you want large battles. Delta Force is the only option in this set with an explicitly stated 24v24 Mobile Warfare mode.
  4. Ask whether one app should cover several genres. Call of Duty: Mobile is the documented choice with 5v5, battle royale, and DMZ: Recon described together.
  5. Re-check availability immediately before download. Mode names, seasons, operating-system support, and regional access can change after the 13 October 2026 information snapshot used for these descriptions.

Frequently asked questions

What are some alternatives to Rainbow Six Mobile?

For bomb-defusal rounds, start with Critical Ops. For a wide range of mobile shooter modes, use Call of Duty: Mobile. For extraction and loot, consider Arena Breakout or Delta Force Operations. They are alternatives by play style, not identical copies of Rainbow Six Mobile.

Which option is closest to a bomb round?

Critical Ops has the clearest documented Defuse description: The Breach plants and defends while Coalition tries to stop them. Call of Duty: Mobile also lists 5v5 Search & Destroy, but its app includes many other modes.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Which game has 24-versus-24 matches?

Delta Force lists 24v24 for its Mobile Warfare mode. That scale is separate from its Operations extraction mode and should not be compared directly with a small-team bomb round.

Are these games identical to Rainbow Six Mobile?

No. The supplied official descriptions do not establish equivalent operators, destructible environments, cameras, traps, or breaching systems across the alternatives. Their similarities are limited to the specific objectives described above.

Can I assume any of them will run well on my phone?

No. Check the live app-store listing, operating-system requirement, update version, and regional availability for your device. The available material does not provide a shared performance test.
