The best Logitech combination depends on where and how you use it: choose MX Keys S with MX Master 3S for office productivity, G915 LIGHTSPEED with G PRO X SUPERLIGHT for low-latency gaming, or MX Keys Mini for Mac with MX Anywhere 3S for Mac when a compact travel kit matters most. Logitech’s published battery, latency, weight and tracking figures are manufacturer claims rather than independent laboratory rankings, so use them as specification references while matching the hardware to your desk, games and devices.
Quick recommendations
| Use case | Keyboard | Mouse | Why this pairing fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Office work | MX Keys S | MX Master 3S | Full-size typing, multi-device switching and extensive productivity controls. |
| Competitive gaming | G915 LIGHTSPEED | G PRO X SUPERLIGHT | Low-profile wireless mechanical input and a very light, high-polling mouse. |
| Travel | MX Keys Mini for Mac | MX Anywhere 3S for Mac | Compact equipment designed to occupy less space in a mobile setup. |
No single Logitech keyboard-and-mouse pair wins every category. The office set favors comfort and workflow controls, the gaming set prioritizes response and sensor performance, and the travel set sacrifices full-size features for a smaller footprint.
Best Logitech keyboard and mouse for office work
MX Keys S: the work-focused keyboard
MX Keys S is the strongest general office choice when you want a conventional, full-size layout rather than a gaming design. It connects over Bluetooth Low Energy or with a Logi Bolt receiver and can switch among up to three devices. That makes it practical for a desktop, laptop and tablet, or for moving between a personal and a work computer without pairing a second keyboard.
Its proximity-activated backlighting turns on as your hands approach, so the keys are visible in a dim room without leaving the lights permanently on. Logitech states that a full charge lasts up to 10 days with predefined settings or up to five months with backlighting off. Those are Logitech’s stated figures; actual runtime changes with lighting behavior, connection mode and usage.
#1 Best Overall
- Fluid Typing Experience: Laptop-like profile with spherically-dished keys shaped for your fingertips delivers a fast, fluid, precise and quieter typing experience
- Automate Repetitive Tasks: Easily create and share time-saving Smart Actions shortcuts to perform multiple actions with a single keystroke with the Logi Options+ app (1)
- Smarter Illumination: Backlit keyboard keys light up as your hands approach and adapt to the environment; Now with more lighting customizations on Logi Options+ (1)
- More Comfort, Deeper Focus: Work for longer with a solid build, low-profile design and an optimum keyboard angle that is better for your wrist posture
- Multi-Device, Multi OS Bluetooth Keyboard: Pair with up to 3 devices on nearly any operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, Googlebook OS) via Bluetooth Low Energy or included Logi Bolt USB receiver (2)
Logitech Support lists the MX Keys S at 430.20 × 131.63 × 20.5 mm and 810 g. That full-size footprint leaves room for a number pad and a broad typing area, but it is less convenient to carry than the compact travel keyboard discussed later.
MX Master 3S: the productivity mouse
MX Master 3S complements the keyboard with controls aimed at documents, spreadsheets and creative applications. Logitech’s software lets you customize buttons through Logi Options+, while a thumb wheel handles horizontal movement and a gesture button provides additional shortcuts. Quiet-click positioning reduces the sharp sound of each press without removing the tactile action that confirms a click.
The mouse uses a rechargeable 500 mAh battery and supports fast charging. Logitech Support gives its dimensions as 124.9 × 84.3 × 51 mm and its weight as 141 g. That large, substantial shape can feel stable for long sessions, but the size and mass are disadvantages in a small laptop bag.

Both products are designed around switching between computers and tailoring controls to an application. A writer can assign document navigation to the thumb wheel, a spreadsheet user can map buttons to frequently repeated commands, and a developer can keep separate shortcuts for an editor and a browser. The keyboard’s multi-device capability and the mouse’s software profiles address the same problem from different sides: fewer peripherals on the desk and less manual reconfiguration.
Choose this pair when your priorities are a familiar full-size keyboard, quiet pointing and programmable productivity controls. It is less suitable if you need a mechanical gaming switch, a very light mouse for fast competitive play, or equipment that disappears into a compact travel pouch.

Best Logitech keyboard and mouse for gaming
G915 LIGHTSPEED: low-profile wireless mechanical gaming
G915 LIGHTSPEED is the gaming keyboard to choose when you want mechanical feedback without the tall profile of a traditional mechanical board. Logitech lists a total key travel distance of 2.7 mm. It supports the company’s 1 ms LIGHTSPEED wireless connection as well as Bluetooth, so you can use the dedicated gaming link at a desk and Bluetooth with another compatible device.
RGB LIGHTSYNC lighting provides per-key visual effects, and onboard profiles let you keep configurations with the keyboard rather than relying on a single computer. Those features matter if you move between a main gaming PC and another system or want lighting and control settings available during an event or LAN session.
Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11The low profile changes the feel compared with MX Keys S: key presses are shorter and more mechanical, while the layout and lighting are oriented toward games. It is a better fit for players who value quick actuation and gaming customization than for someone seeking the soft, laptop-like feel of a quiet office keyboard.
G PRO X SUPERLIGHT: competitive-play mouse
The G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is designed around minimizing hand movement and maintaining consistent sensor data. Logitech lists a weight of less than 63 g, HERO tracking from 100 to 25,600 DPI, a 1 ms/1,000 Hz report rate and 70 hours of constant-motion battery life. These are manufacturer specifications, not a universal independent ranking of wireless mice.
The low mass is most useful in games that involve repeated, broad swipes, such as competitive shooters. A high maximum DPI does not mean you should play at that setting; it indicates the sensor’s adjustment range. In practice, choose a sensitivity that lets you make controlled movements and use the same setting across games when possible.

- Engineered for Speed and Precision: MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard features fast fluid laptop-like typing combined with the fast, precise scrolling of MX Master 3S Wireless Mouse
- Fluid Typing Experience: Laptop-like profile with spherically-dished keys shaped for your fingertips delivers a fast, fluid, precise and quieter typing experience
- Scroll 1000 Lines Per Second: With MagSpeed, Logitech’s fastest and most precise scroll wheel (3), and an 8K DPI sensor, this Logitech Mouse tracks anywhere – even on glass (4)
- Automate Repetitive Tasks: Easily create and share time-saving Smart Actions shortcuts that perform multiple actions with a single keystroke with the Logi Options+ app (1)
- Smarter Illumination: Backlit keyboard keys light up as your hands approach and adapt to the environment; now with more lighting customizations on Logi Options+ (1)
How to configure the gaming pair
- Connect the G915 with its LIGHTSPEED receiver for the lowest-latency wireless path Logitech specifies. Keep Bluetooth available for a second device when needed.
- Set a comfortable polling and sensitivity combination for the G PRO X SUPERLIGHT. Its published report rate is 1,000 Hz; game-engine behavior, USB settings and system load still affect the result you feel.
- Save keyboard lighting and control arrangements to the G915’s onboard profiles so they remain available when you change computers.
- Charge both devices before a tournament or long session. Wireless convenience does not remove the need to plan for charging or to keep the receiver with the keyboard.
This combination is the right answer for players who want a wireless setup with a low-profile mechanical keyboard and a very light mouse. If you mainly play slower-paced games or also type for hours, the office pair’s shapes may be more comfortable.

MX Keys Mini for Mac
Logitech’s 2024 Mac portfolio announcement identifies MX Keys Mini for Mac as a compact, minimalist keyboard. Its smaller format is the important distinction for travel: it takes less room on a café table, hotel desk or shared workspace than a full-size board. The trade-off is that a compact layout cannot provide the same expanse and number-pad area as MX Keys S.
Confirm the operating system and layout you need before buying the Mac version. A compact keyboard is only useful on the road if its key legends, shortcuts and connection method match the devices you actually carry.
MX Anywhere 3S for Mac
The same announcement describes MX Anywhere 3S for Mac as a compact mouse with quiet clicks and fast, precise 8K resolution tracking on any surface. That combination is better suited to unpredictable travel surfaces than a mouse that expects a dedicated desk mat, while the smaller body is easier to pack beside a laptop charger.
MX Anywhere 3S is the more practical travel mouse than MX Master 3S because the Master’s published 124.9 × 84.3 × 51 mm dimensions and 141 g weight make it a comparatively bulky item. The Anywhere model’s announcement establishes its compact design and 8K tracking claim, but does not provide a comparable weight or dimension figure here, so do not assume a specific size or battery duration without checking the current listing.

- Fluid Typing Experience: A laptop-like profile with spherically dished keys shaped for your fingertips; experience fast, fluid, and precise typing on this wireless bluetooth keyboard for Mac
- Automate Repetitive Tasks with Logitech Keyboard: Easily create and share time-saving Smart Actions shortcuts to perform multiple actions with a single keystroke with the Logi Options plus app (1)

- More Comfort, Deeper Focus: Work comfortably for longer with a low-profile design and an optimum keyboard angle that is better for your wrist posture
Build a travel-ready kit
- Use the compact keyboard when desk space and bag volume matter more than a number pad or full-size key spacing.
- Carry the mouse’s receiver, charging cable and any required adapter in the same pouch as the keyboard; a wireless accessory is not useful if its connection hardware is left at home.
- Test pairing with every device before departure, especially if one computer uses Bluetooth and another uses a receiver.
- Charge before leaving and avoid storing the devices with heavy objects pressing on keys or buttons.
For frequent flights, commuting or hotel work, this pair is the sensible choice. For a permanent desk, the larger controls and full-size layout of the MX Keys S and MX Master 3S are easier to live with.

| MX Anywhere 3S for Mac | Compact travel mouse | Quiet clicks; 8K tracking claim on any surface | Not stated in the cited announcement | Compact body for travel |
The table separates published specifications from missing figures. Where Logitech’s announcement or product material does not state a battery duration, weight or dimension, there is no reliable number to substitute.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to choose between the three setups
Choose by keyboard feel
- Quiet, office-style typing: MX Keys S uses a full-size productivity format and proximity lighting.
- Low-profile mechanical feedback: G915 LIGHTSPEED has short total travel and gaming-oriented profiles and lighting.
- Smallest practical footprint: MX Keys Mini for Mac is the compact option named for travel.
Choose by mouse shape and movement
- More controls and a substantial palm-resting shape: MX Master 3S adds a thumb wheel, gesture button and software customization.
- Lowest listed mass for competitive play: G PRO X SUPERLIGHT is specified at less than 63 g.
- Packability and varied surfaces: MX Anywhere 3S for Mac is compact, quiet and advertised with 8K tracking on any surface.
Choose by connection needs
For a desk shared by several computers, MX Keys S’s support for Bluetooth Low Energy and Logi Bolt, together with switching among three devices, is the clearest fit. G915 adds Bluetooth to its LIGHTSPEED link, which is useful when one keyboard must serve both a gaming system and another device. Travel buyers should test the exact pairing workflow of their laptop, tablet and phone rather than assume every device supports every mode.
Choose by battery expectations
MX Keys S has the longest stated range when its backlight is disabled, while its backlighting-on figure is much shorter. MX Master 3S specifies a rechargeable 500 mAh cell and fast charging but no runtime figure in the cited material. The gaming mouse’s published constant-motion figure is 70 hours. Treat all of these as conditions attached to Logitech’s claims, not guarantees for every user.

Common mistakes and fixes
Buying the largest mouse for a mobile setup
The MX Master 3S’s controls are useful at a desk, but its listed dimensions and weight can consume valuable bag space. If you regularly work away from home, start with MX Anywhere 3S for Mac and accept that its control set is aimed at portability rather than the Master’s expanded workflow controls.

Assuming wireless latency is identical across modes
G915’s 1 ms figure applies to Logitech’s LIGHTSPEED wireless specification. Bluetooth is a separate connection path, and the practical experience also depends on the computer and game. Use LIGHTSPEED for competitive play and reserve Bluetooth for convenience or a second device.
Leaving backlighting on without a charging plan
MX Keys S’s stated runtime changes substantially depending on whether backlighting is active. If you work away from a charger, turn lighting off or keep a charging cable accessible. Do not treat the five-month figure as a promise when using the backlight.
Choosing DPI by the largest number
The PRO X SUPERLIGHT’s 25,600-DPI maximum describes sensor range, not an ideal setting. Start with controllable sensitivity, then adjust for your game and display. Consistency is generally more useful than selecting the highest available number.

A receiver-based setup can fail simply because the receiver is in another bag or the computer lacks the needed port or adapter. Pair every device before travel, label receivers if you own multiple wireless products, and keep the relevant cable with the hardware.
Quick Recap
Which Logitech combination should you buy?
- For a primary office desk: Buy MX Keys S and MX Master 3S when multi-device switching, programmable controls and a full-size layout matter most.
- For competitive wireless gaming: Buy G915 LIGHTSPEED and G PRO X SUPERLIGHT when low-profile mechanical keys, LIGHTSPEED connectivity, low mouse weight and a 1,000 Hz report rate are priorities.
- For commuting and travel: Buy MX Keys Mini for Mac and MX Anywhere 3S for Mac when compact dimensions, quiet operation and flexible surface tracking outweigh full-size controls.
- For a mixed household: Start with the office pair if typing and productivity dominate, or the G915 pair if games determine your latency requirements. Add the compact travel pair only when you genuinely need a second, smaller kit.
