The LG G6 is the strongest-supported premium pick for bright rooms, while the C6 is the more value-focused OLED choice and the B6 is a lower-priced alternative. But the available independent reviews do not establish six distinct LG models as the year’s best. Choose by room lighting, screen size and exact panel variant, gaming needs, and the price of the model sold in your market—not by a padded six-TV ranking.
Which LG TV is best for a bright room?
LG G6: the premium OLED pick
RTINGS’ guide, updated September 23, 2026, names the G6 the best LG TV in its ranking. It reports strong picture quality, bright highlights, saturated color, and notably effective anti-reflection, making the G6 the best-supported option here for a room with substantial ambient light. These are reviewer judgments, not a guarantee that it will suit every room or viewing setup. RTINGS’ best LG TVs guide

LG 43-Inch QNED AI 4K QNED73B Series Mini LED Smart TV, 2026 Model | $279.99 | Buy on Amazon |
LG’s March 5, 2026 US announcement lists the G6 in 55-, 65-, 77-, 83-, and 97-inch sizes. LG says its Brightness Booster Ultra can deliver up to 3.9 times the brightness of a regular OLED TV; that is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test result. The same announcement lists Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, 4K 165Hz VRR, NVIDIA G-SYNC, and AMD FreeSync Premium. Check the exact regional model’s specifications before relying on a feature or size. LG’s US 2026 OLED announcement
There is an important size-specific caveat: RTINGS says the 97-inch G6 uses older panel technology, so do not assume its performance matches the smaller versions. The G6 is therefore not a single uniform choice across its full size range.

Is the C6 a better value than the G6?
LG C6: the balanced OLED choice
The C6 is the more value-oriented choice if you want an OLED without paying for the G6’s premium positioning. RTINGS calls it an upper-mid-range option and says its performance is similar to the G6, but with lower peak brightness and weaker reflection handling. In TechRadar’s comparison of three LG OLED models, the C6 was the value pick. Those rankings reflect the reviewers’ comparisons, not a universal best-buy verdict; current local pricing can change the value calculation. RTINGS’ guide and TechRadar’s C6, B6 and G6 comparison
LG’s March 2026 US announcement lists C6 sizes from 42 to 83 inches and names Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and 4K 165Hz VRR among its features. Confirm the specifications for the precise size and suffix sold in your region; a series-wide announcement is not a substitute for a model-specific listing. LG’s US 2026 OLED announcement
LG C6H: the large-screen C-series variant
The C6 name does not refer to the same panel across every size. RTINGS identifies 42-, 48-, 55-, and 65-inch versions as C6, and 77- and 83-inch versions as C6H. What Hi-Fi? reports that the C6H sizes use Primary RGB Tandem OLED, while smaller C6 sizes retain WOLED. Check the full model number and local listing before comparing a large C6H with a smaller C6 or assuming their panel technology is identical. RTINGS’ guide and What Hi-Fi?’s LG TV lineup guide
Is the B6 worth considering?
LG B6: the lower-priced OLED alternative
The B6 is the lower-cost OLED alternative among the models covered by the cited reviews. TechRadar gave it four and a half stars in its three-model comparison, but its test sample was a B6E variant; the review notes that this suffix has a simpler remote and some feature differences. Treat B6 and B6E labels carefully, and check the exact regional model’s features rather than assuming every version is interchangeable. TechRadar’s comparison
Why this guide does not list six separate winners
The independent evidence here supports three core OLED families—the G6, C6/C6H, and B6—but does not establish six distinct current models as category winners. Counting different sizes of one family as separate recommendations would make the list look more conclusive than the evidence allows. RTINGS’ broader finding that most LG LED TVs are weaker overall than LG’s OLED line is not enough to rank a particular current QNED or other LED model, nor does it mean a non-OLED TV cannot suit a buyer’s needs. RTINGS’ guide
For a well-supported shortlist, compare these options by the job they need to do rather than treating them as six equivalent products:
| Model or family | Best-supported role | Key qualification |
|---|---|---|
| G6 | Premium OLED; strongest case for a bright room | The 97-inch version uses older panel technology, according to RTINGS. |
| C6 | Balanced, value-oriented OLED | Dimmer and less effective against reflections than the G6, according to RTINGS. |
| C6H | Large-screen C-series option at 77 or 83 inches | What Hi-Fi? reports a different panel technology from smaller C6 sizes. |
| B6 | Lower-priced OLED alternative | Review evidence covers a B6E variant with remote and feature differences. |
What should you check before buying?
Match the TV to your room
If daylight, lamps, or windows are likely to reflect on the screen, the G6 has the strongest support among these picks because reviewers highlight its brightness and anti-reflection. If your room is less demanding and the C6 costs less in your market, its value position may matter more than the G6’s extra brightness. Compare reflection performance and the TV’s placement in your own room rather than treating a review ranking as a substitute for your setup.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteConfirm size, suffix, and panel variant
Before comparing prices, verify the complete model code and screen size. The C6/C6H distinction and the 97-inch G6 panel caveat show why a family name alone can conceal meaningful differences. Regional availability and specifications may not match the US lineup announcement.
Check gaming features against the exact SKU
LG’s US announcement lists 4K 165Hz VRR for the G6 and C6, with G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium also listed for the G6. These are manufacturer-listed specifications. Check the product page for the exact size and regional suffix you plan to buy, and make sure your console or PC can use the features you value.
Compare today’s local price, not launch MSRP
LG announced US starting MSRPs of $2,499 for the G6 and $1,399 for the C6 on March 5, 2026, with retail availability beginning in March 2026. Those are historical US launch prices, not current street prices or prices for other countries. Retail offers, stock, and model availability change; compare current local listings for the exact size and suffix. LG’s US launch announcement
Check regional apps and subscriptions
LG Australia’s lineup announcement describes services available in that region, including Netflix, Stan, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV+, Kayo, Stan Sport, and local broadcaster catch-up apps. That list does not establish availability in other countries, and it does not mean subscriptions are included with a TV. Confirm the apps you need in the market where you will use the set.
