For a premium LG TV home-theater setup, the LG S95TR is the strongest documented pick: LG lists a 9.1.5-channel system with Dolby Atmos, rear speakers, a subwoofer, HDMI eARC and WOW Orchestra. The S90TR is a lower-channel-count alternative with a similar core package, while the S80TR is a 5.1.3-channel option to investigate if you want fewer listed channels.
These are recommendations based on LG’s published specifications, not hands-on listening-test winners. Before buying, check your exact TV model and feature support, room layout, connection ports, included components and current price.

What to check when pairing a soundbar with an LG TV
Confirm WOW Orchestra support for both devices
WOW Orchestra is model-specific. LG describes it as playing compatible LG TV and soundbar speakers together, and its US lineup identifies supported soundbar models. Match the connection to your TV
LG lists HDMI eARC for the S95TR and S90TR. Confirm your TV has the required port and that its audio settings support the setup you intend to use. A product specification is not a model-specific connection or setup guide; consult your TV’s instructions for the correct port and settings.
Plan for the speakers and subwoofer
The S95TR and S90TR include rear speakers and a subwoofer, according to their product pages. Allow for rear-speaker placement and power, plus space for the subwoofer, before choosing either system.

What about LG Sound Suite H7?
LG’s 2025 H7 specification sheet references Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, WOW Orchestra and eARC, but it gives conflicting channel configurations: 9.1.6 in the headline and 5.1.3 in the general table. Treat the channel count as unresolved rather than choosing one figure. The available LG materials cited here also do not establish retail availability or the exact TV and software support needed for a purchase decision. How to make the final choice
- Check your TV. Look up its exact model, year, available audio ports and support for the features you want.
- Choose the system configuration. Consider whether you want the S95TR’s 9.1.5 setup, the S90TR’s 7.1.3 setup or the S80TR’s listed 5.1.3 configuration. Do not treat channel count as a guarantee of better sound.
- Check your room. Make sure rear speakers can be placed and powered where intended, and that you have space for the subwoofer.
