How to verify that a listing is officially licensed
Licensing matters when you want the character art, construction, and packaging to come from an authorized merchandise program. Before purchasing, use this checklist:
- Read the product title and description. Look for an explicit “officially licensed” statement rather than assuming that a character name guarantees authorization.
- Identify the manufacturer or rights-holder reference. Documented examples here name Great Eastern, FuRyu Corporation, SEGA, or TOHO. Record the exact manufacturer shown on the page for your edition.
