Optery, DeleteMe, Kanary, Aura, and Privacy Bee are the main Incogni alternatives to investigate in 2026. None can be declared universally best from the available evidence. The right choice depends on your country, the sites covered by your plan, how often the service follows up, whether you need custom removals, and what personal information you are willing to provide.
All five services work in the same broad area: they find listings held by data brokers and people-search sites, submit opt-out or deletion requests, and monitor for records that return. A dashboard showing a submitted request or a “removed” profile is not proof that every copy of your information has disappeared permanently.
What an Incogni alternative actually does
Data-removal services automate a job that is difficult to perform manually. You provide identifying details such as names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. The service searches participating data-broker and people-search websites, matches records to you, and sends opt-out or deletion requests using the mechanism each site accepts.
After an initial sweep, a service may repeat requests, rescan for new listings, and show status reports or screenshots. Coverage is never identical between providers. One company may count a search engine, a regional broker, or several domains as separate “sites,” while another counts them as one network. A larger published total therefore does not automatically mean better protection.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Requests are scope-limited: a service can act only on sites it supports and in countries where the relevant opt-out process is available.
- Removal is ongoing: brokers can rebuild a profile from public records or commercial feeds, so listings may reappear.
- Results vary by identity match: common names, old addresses and incomplete records can lead to missed or incorrect matches.
- Risk reduction is not guaranteed: the available evidence does not establish a universal reduction in spam, identity theft or stalking.
Before paying, read the provider’s definition of a covered site, a completed removal, a scan, and a recurring check. Those definitions are more useful than a headline number alone.
How the five candidates compare
The table below separates established information from items that still require a current check at checkout. Prices and eligibility can change, and no current official price was established for several candidates.
| Service | What is established | What to verify for 2026 | Best fit to investigate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Optery | Its Ultimate plan page describes 630+ sites, or 405+ without Expanded Reach, unlimited custom removals, submissions to search-engine outdated-content tools, automated removals and an assigned human Privacy Agent. | Current price, country eligibility, the exact difference between the 630+ and 405+ figures, recurrence schedule, refund terms and retention policy. | People who want broad stated coverage plus human assistance and custom requests. |
| DeleteMe | Named as an alternative in a vendor comparison and included in the 2025 independent coverage analysis. | Official 2026 price, included sites by plan, family-member rules, scan frequency, custom-removal limits and eligible countries. | Buyers willing to verify the current plan directly rather than rely on older comparison tables. |
| Kanary | Its comparison explains its service and contrasts it with other providers; it also appears in the 2025 study’s coverage and user study. | Current geographic eligibility, plan terms, supported sites, escalation process and privacy-policy details. | Users interested in a service with documented monitoring and an independently studied presence. |
| Aura | Listed as a competing option in a comparison article, generally positioned as a bundled identity-protection choice. | Whether data removal is included in your country and subscription tier, current price, site scope, removal cadence and cancellation terms. | People who want removal alongside broader identity-protection features, after confirming that removal is actually included. |
| Privacy Bee | Named as an alternative in the comparison material. | Current official coverage, pricing, supported countries, custom-removal policy, monitoring details and data-retention terms. | Readers who value a potentially broad service but will validate every material claim first. |
The comparison article that names these options was written by Incogni and says its figures were current on August 13, 2025; it is useful for discovering candidates, not as a 2026 price authority. Read the comparison.

1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteOptery: broad stated coverage and custom requests
Optery’s official pricing page gives the clearest plan-specific coverage claim among the alternatives in this shortlist. At the Ultimate level, it describes more than 630 sites, or more than 405 when Expanded Reach is excluded. The same page describes unlimited custom removals, requests to search engines’ outdated-content tools, automated removals and an assigned human Privacy Agent. These are vendor statements tied to that plan, not an independent guarantee that every user will receive 630 successful deletions.
Ask whether your country and address history are supported before subscribing. Confirm what “Expanded Reach” adds, which sites accept automated requests, and whether custom removals are unlimited in practice or subject to reasonable-use or identity-verification rules. The official plan page is the place to check current terms: Optery pricing.

Optery was included in an independent 2025 study that measured broker coverage and ran a user study. That means the service was examined under the study’s methods and collection period; it does not predict your current results or establish that Optery is superior to every competitor.
DeleteMe: a candidate requiring a current plan check
DeleteMe appears in the alternative-service comparison and in the independent 2025 coverage analysis. The available material does not establish a current official 2026 price, site count, family allowance or country list, so older figures should not be copied into a buying guide.

One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchWhen checking DeleteMe, look for a plan table that states the number of people included, whether annual and monthly billing differ, the refund window, the interval between scans and how the company handles a listing that returns. Also determine whether “covered” means scanned, contacted, or confirmed removed. Those distinctions can change the practical value of an apparently large list.
Kanary: compare its claims with independent evidence
Kanary publishes a comparison with DeleteMe and Optery. Because that article is vendor-authored and was updated in November 2025, treat superiority claims as marketing statements unless independently supported. Kanary also appears in the 2025 study’s service comparison and participant study, giving it a documented research presence without turning the study into a current ranking.
Verify geographic eligibility and plan terms directly. Important questions include whether monitoring covers every broker contacted during the initial sweep, how often rechecks occur, what support can do when an automated request fails, and whether a human agent handles unusual cases such as an outdated address or a mistaken identity match. The comparison page is available at Kanary’s service comparison.

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Aura: confirm that removal is included in your subscription
Aura is mentioned as a competing option, but the available information does not verify its current data-removal scope, price, availability or whether the feature is packaged identically in every country. Treat it as a possible bundled identity-protection choice rather than assuming that an identity-monitoring subscription includes broker removals.
Before purchasing, open the plan details for your billing country and look for an explicit list of removal features. Check whether the service submits requests itself or merely provides instructions, how many family members are covered, whether custom sites can be added, and how status evidence is presented. If the plan page does not define those points, ask support for written clarification.
Privacy Bee: verify breadth and geography
Privacy Bee is named in the comparison material, but current official site coverage, pricing and eligible countries were not established. Do not convert a broad marketing description into an independently verified count.
Check the current official terms for the exact countries served, the types of brokers included, the recurrence of scans, support channels, custom-removal limits and the company’s retention and deletion rules. A provider with fewer sites but transparent status evidence and frequent follow-up may be more useful than one with an unqualified large total.
What the independent 2025 study can—and cannot—tell you
The peer-reviewed paper “Measuring the Accuracy and Effectiveness of PII Removal Services,” Proceedings on Privacy Enhancing Technologies (2025), recruited 71 participants. For its efficacy user study, it selected Optery, Kanary, Mozilla Monitor and Incogni after applying stated subscription and service-selection criteria. The collection period and methods bound the results; they should not be read as an evergreen 2026 leaderboard. Read the paper or its research PDF mirror.

Its broker-overlap figure reported these counts in that study’s collection:
| Service | Overlapping brokers | Exclusive brokers |
|---|---|---|
| DeleteMe | 232 | 527 |
| Optery | 441 | 302 |
| Kanary | 236 | 81 |
| Incogni | 187 | 30 |
These are counts observed by the study, not current provider coverage, successful deletions, or a performance score. They do show why switching services can change which broker networks are addressed: the sets overlap, but none is identical.
Use Incogni as a baseline, not an automatic winner
Incogni’s own service information states that automated removals cover more than 420 data brokers and that its Unlimited tier adds more than 2,000 sites for custom removals. It gives an example standard annual individual price of $7.99 per month billed at $95.88 for the year and notes that removal timing varies by broker. These are provider-reported figures that should be checked on the current plan page before purchase.
When comparing an alternative with Incogni, put both services on the same axes: the exact tier, annual versus monthly billing, number of people covered, recurring scans, custom requests, evidence of completion, supported countries and personal-data handling. A 630-site claim on one plan cannot be compared fairly with 420 brokers on another unless the providers define “site,” “broker” and “removal” in comparable ways.
How to choose the right service
- Define your geography. Enter your billing country and confirm that the service can use the opt-out mechanisms available there. A service built around one jurisdiction may have limited reach elsewhere.
- List the identities that matter. Include current and former names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses that brokers may associate with you. Ask how many historical addresses the plan accepts.
- Compare a named tier, not a brand. Record the plan name, monthly or annual price, included people, refund policy and renewal price on the date you check out.
- Separate scanning from submitting. Determine how many sites are searched, how many receive requests, and how many removals are confirmed. Request a sample report if the provider offers one.
- Check recurrence. Find the rescan interval, how returned listings are detected and whether follow-up requests cost extra.
- Test custom-removal support. If a local people-search site matters to you, verify that it is eligible and whether custom requests are limited by tier.
- Review evidence. Prefer dashboards that show the site, date, request status and reason for failure rather than a single aggregate counter.
- Read data-handling terms. Confirm encryption and access controls, retention periods, deletion requests, third-party sharing and whether your identifiers are used for purposes beyond removal.
- Plan for manual exceptions. Some brokers require identity verification, mailed forms or repeated contact. Know who performs those steps and how escalation works.
Privacy and safety questions to ask before entering your data
A removal service needs enough information to distinguish you from another person with the same name. That creates a second privacy decision: you are concentrating sensitive identifiers in another company’s system.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
- What exact fields are mandatory, and can you omit an old address that is not needed?
- How long are submitted identifiers retained after a subscription ends?
- Can you request deletion of your account data separately from broker removals?
- Which contractors or processors can access your information?
- Does the company use your information for advertising, analytics or model training?
- How are identity documents handled when a broker demands proof?
- What security notification and account-recovery process applies if your account is compromised?
Use a unique password and enable multifactor authentication when offered. Do not upload an identity document unless the service explains why it is required, how it is protected and when it will be deleted.
Common failure modes and practical fixes
A request is marked submitted but the profile remains visible
Submission is not confirmation. Check whether the broker requires a verification email, a second form or a waiting period. Capture the listing URL and ask support to reopen the request with the broker’s required evidence.
A listing returns after removal
Reappearance can result from a new data feed or a changed address record. Use the recurring-monitoring feature, report the returned URL and ask whether repeat requests are included in your tier.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
The service finds the wrong person
Common names create false matches. Provide middle initials, historical addresses or other permitted identifiers, and ask the provider to suppress a mistaken profile rather than delete someone else’s record.
Your country is unsupported
Do not assume that a US-focused service can use European, Canadian or other regional rights mechanisms. Confirm eligibility before payment and look for a local opt-out process if the provider cannot act on your behalf.
The dashboard gives only a total count
Request a site-level report showing what was scanned, what was contacted, the date of each action and the reason for any failure. Without that detail, you cannot distinguish broad coverage from repeated attempts on a small set of sites.
Bottom line for 2026 buyers
Start with Optery if its Ultimate-tier coverage, custom-removal policy and human-agent support match your needs and country. Investigate DeleteMe and Kanary when you are prepared to verify current plans directly; both have appeared in independent coverage work, but the available material does not establish a universal winner. Consider Aura only after confirming that broker removal is included in your exact bundle. Treat Privacy Bee as a candidate whose current scope and geography require the same verification.
Whichever service you choose, judge it by transparent site-level evidence, repeat monitoring, support for failed requests and sensible handling of your identifiers—not by a single headline site count.
