The best all-around starting point for a left-handed gamer is the Corsair M75 Wireless: it has a symmetrical shape, side buttons for either side, and a software mode that disables the buttons on the far flank. If you play MMOs and want a dedicated left-handed shell with many thumb controls, consider the Razer Naga Left-Handed Edition instead. The right choice depends on grip, hand size, game controls, and whether you want wired or wireless use.
Left-handed or ambidextrous: what is the difference?
A dedicated left-handed mouse has a contoured shape made for the left hand. An ambidextrous mouse has a symmetrical shape intended to work in either hand. Logitech explains the distinction in its guide to mouse shapes and grips. Symmetry alone is not enough: check that the side buttons are reachable by your left thumb and that buttons on the opposite side can be disabled or removed.
Best general-purpose pick: Corsair M75 Wireless
The M75 Wireless is the most versatile option in this selection for players who want a symmetrical mouse with side controls on both sides. Corsair says the M75 and M75 Wireless have symmetrical shapes and button placement; the Wireless version includes side-button choices for both flanks, and its iCUE left-handed mode disables the buttons on the opposite side. See Corsair’s M75 feature explanation.

- 8200dpi 4G Laser Sensor. No Razer gaming mouse is complete without a cutting-edge mouse sensor to deliver precision and ultra-responsiveness to your game.
- The Razer Naga is outfitted with a 32 bit ARM processor which means there's a little computer onboard that is computing everything at an incredibly fast rate.
Best dedicated MMO option: Razer Naga Left-Handed Edition
For an MMO player who wants a mouse shaped specifically for the left hand, the Razer Naga Left-Handed Edition offers an ergonomic shell with ring-finger support and a 12-button thumb grid. Razer lists 19+1 programmable buttons, a Focus+ optical sensor rated at 20,000 DPI, and support for up to five onboard profiles. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance measurements. See Razer’s product page.
The thumb grid is useful when you want many commands within reach; it is unnecessary bulk if you mainly play games that need only a few mouse inputs. Choose it for its dedicated left-handed shape and control layout, rather than assuming more buttons make it better for every genre.

How to choose a left-handed gaming mouse
Match shape to your hand and grip
Logitech describes palm, claw, and fingertip grips as common ways to hold a mouse and recommends choosing a shape that fits how your hand rests. A large shell may be comfortable for palm or claw grip but awkward for fingertip use, as GamesRadar notes for the M75 Wireless. If possible, check dimensions and return terms before buying; the sources here do not establish one ideal size for every hand.

Check button access and accidental presses
On a symmetrical mouse, confirm that the left-side thumb buttons are usable and that buttons on the far side can be disabled, removed, or otherwise kept from registering accidental presses. Corsair’s M75 left-handed mode is one example of disabling the opposite-side buttons. For a dedicated MMO mouse, consider whether the thumb grid’s buttons are easy for you to distinguish without looking.

Choose the layout for your games
A large thumb grid is aimed at players who benefit from assigning numerous commands to the mouse. If you need only a few side buttons, a simpler ambidextrous layout may be easier to learn and less crowded. Button count is a feature to match to your control scheme, not a standalone measure of quality.
Decide how you want to connect
The M75 Wireless is listed with 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, and wired connections in GamesRadar’s guide. If choosing an older model, check its current listing and stock rather than assuming that a past recommendation remains a good buy.
