There is no reliable, current evidence for a complete list of 33 individually verified free templates. The strongest documented starting points are Themesberg’s Landwind for SaaS and product sites, plus Preline UI’s free Agency, AI Chat, CMS, Coffee Shop and Personal demos. Treat the number 33 as an unverified headline rather than a guarantee that 33 templates are free, maintained and license-checked.
This guide separates genuinely documented free options from paid catalogs, compares page scope and setup requirements, and shows how to verify licensing before you ship or redistribute a Tailwind CSS landing page.
What “free Tailwind template” should mean
A template can be free to view but not free to download, free to use commercially but not free to resell, or free in an open-source tier while the most complete pages remain in a paid tier. For a useful comparison, check six separate questions:
- Site fit: Does the structure suit a SaaS, product, agency, shop or personal site?
- Scope: Is it one complete landing page, several routed pages or only reusable sections?
- Stack: Does it require plain HTML, a build process, a component framework, JavaScript plugins or a vendor-specific CLI?
- License: Can you use it commercially, modify it, keep copyright notices and redistribute your modified code?
- Current availability: Is the exact item free today, or merely shown beside paid products?
- Maintenance: Are the repository, dependencies and documentation still available?
The entries below are limited to options with official documentation supporting their free status or clearly identifying them as paid. Availability, counts and prices can change; the catalog figures cited here were displayed by the vendors on October 13, 2026 UTC.

The table intentionally does not rank visual quality. No independent performance or usability test is established for these entries, so a “best” choice depends on your information architecture, stack and license needs.
Landwind: the clearest free SaaS starting point
Landwind’s official repository describes it as a free, open-source landing page for SaaS and product websites. Its documentation lists a conventional conversion-oriented sequence: a hero section, customer logos, product features, testimonials, pricing cards, FAQ, a pre-footer call to action and footer. That makes it a practical base when your page needs the sections a prospective software customer expects without assembling every block yourself.
The repository states, “This project is open source under the MIT license.” MIT generally permits commercial use, modification and redistribution, subject to preserving the license and copyright notice. Read the repository’s current license file rather than relying on the label alone, especially if you plan to distribute a packaged theme.
What Landwind includes
- Hero: A prominent value proposition and primary call to action.
- Social proof: Customer or partner logos placed near the top of the page.
- Feature storytelling: Multiple sections for explaining capabilities and benefits.
- Testimonials: Space for evidence from users or customers.
- Pricing: Cards for comparing plans, which you should replace with your real billing terms.
- FAQ: A place to answer objections without sending visitors to another page.
- Pre-footer CTA and footer: A final conversion prompt plus navigation and legal links.
Stack and deployment implications
Setup notes call for Node.js, Tailwind CSS and Flowbite. You can work in the source project, generate the CSS, and deploy the resulting index.html and output.css according to the repository’s deployment note. The documentation also says the code can be copied into Laravel, React, Vue.js or other frameworks. That flexibility does not mean the integration is automatic: you still need to adapt asset paths, component boundaries, routing, build scripts and any interactive behavior to your application.
When Landwind is the right choice
- You need one coherent SaaS or product page rather than a large block library.
- You want a permissive, explicitly documented open-source license.
- You are comfortable with a Node and Tailwind build step.
- Your conversion path benefits from pricing, testimonials and FAQ sections on one page.
Choose another starting point when your site is primarily a multi-page agency, editorial CMS, restaurant or personal portfolio; Preline’s purpose-specific demos may require less restructuring.
Preline’s free templates and component library
The official Preline template catalog places several demos under “Free Tailwind CSS Templates.” The named examples include Agency, AI Chat, CMS, Coffee Shop and Personal. The official repository identifies both the MIT License and the Preline UI Fair Use License, so read the terms that accompany the exact files you download.
Rank #2
Preline Agency
The catalog describes Agency as a ten-page digital-agency template. Its listed pages include a Main Page, About and Services, giving a services firm room to explain expertise, process and portfolio beyond a single hero-and-features screen. It is a better structural fit for a creative or digital-services company than a product-pricing page. Before launch, replace demonstration copy, add your own case-study evidence and check that every image and icon is covered by the project’s license or by a separate asset license.

Preline SaaS Startup
The catalog describes SaaS Startup as a six-page startup marketing template with Main Page, Features and Pricing examples. That page split is useful when your product needs dedicated detail pages instead of placing every claim on one long landing page. Confirm whether the current download contains all six pages and whether any showcased illustrations or media have separate terms.
AI Chat, CMS, Coffee Shop and Personal
These names indicate distinct audiences: an AI conversational product, a content-management service, a hospitality business and an individual or portfolio site. The cited catalog lists them as free demos but does not establish the same page count for each. Treat them as starting points, not as promises of a fixed number of routes or components. Open the current demo and repository, record the files you actually use, and preserve required notices.
Preline as a block-building system
If no single demo matches your information architecture, Preline can be approached as a component library. The displayed open-source catalog snapshot listed 640-plus components, 189 blocks and five templates with five main pages. Those are vendor-published catalog counts, not an independent audit, and they can change. Blocks are useful for assembling a custom page, but they increase the decisions you must make about spacing, typography, responsive behavior, accessibility and consistent content hierarchy.
Choose by the site you are building
SaaS or software product
Start with Landwind when a one-page funnel needs hero, proof, features, pricing, FAQ and a final CTA. Consider Preline SaaS Startup when you need separate Features and Pricing routes or want a more multi-page marketing structure.

Agency or consultancy
Preline Agency’s documented ten-page structure gives service companies room for About and Services content. Keep navigation shallow, show specific outcomes and avoid publishing placeholder testimonials or client logos.

- Unique Design: This spider web net stencil for painting on wood is designed for Halloween, parties, events and seasonal decorations
- Multiple Applications: These reusable painting stencils have a wide range of usages and can be applied for various DIY projects, such as wood signs, painting crafts, home decorations, floors, walls, doors, tile, wood, cabinets, and boxes
- Method of Operation: These reusable layering stencils are easy to use by placing them on a clean and dry surface, then applying acrylic paints, chalks, air spraying, or small brush techniques to create your design
AI tool or technical platform
Preline AI Chat can provide a relevant visual starting point, but rename sections around your actual workflow, data handling and support model. A thematic demo is not evidence that your product has the same capabilities.
CMS or content product
The Preline CMS demo may suit a product that needs to explain publishing, roles and integrations. Verify that its page structure supports documentation and onboarding links rather than forcing everything into a sales-only layout.
Coffee shop or local business
Use the Coffee Shop demo as a visual base, then prioritize hours, location, menu, ordering and accessibility on mobile. Do not leave SaaS-style pricing cards or generic testimonials in the final page.

Set up Landwind step by step
- Install prerequisites. Install a current Node.js release suitable for the repository, then clone or download the Landwind project from its official repository.
- Read the project instructions. Follow the repository’s documented install and build commands rather than copying commands from an unrelated Tailwind version. Confirm where source files, Tailwind configuration and output assets are located.
- Install dependencies. Use the package manager and lockfile included by the project. Do not delete the lockfile unless you have a specific dependency-management reason.
- Run the development build. Start the documented development command and inspect the page at desktop and mobile widths. Check that menus, FAQ interactions and any Flowbite-powered behavior work before changing content.
- Customize content first. Replace the product name, value proposition, logos, testimonials, pricing, FAQ answers and CTA destinations. Remove sections that do not support your funnel instead of leaving invented claims.
- Configure Tailwind scanning. Ensure your content paths include every HTML, JavaScript, JSX, Vue or template file that contains utility classes. Missing paths can cause production CSS to omit styles.
- Build for production. Run the repository’s production build and confirm that the generated
index.htmlandoutput.cssreference the correct relative or absolute asset paths. - Test the deployment artifact. Serve the generated files from the same kind of hosting path you will use in production. Test direct navigation, 404 behavior, forms, focus states, images and responsive breakpoints.
- Preserve licensing. Keep the MIT notice and any third-party notices required by the repository or bundled assets. Record which images, icons and fonts came from outside the template.
Adapting a Preline demo safely
- Open the current template page in the Preline catalog and identify whether it is marked free or associated with Pro.
- Download the corresponding source from the official distribution and read its README and license files.
- Map each demo page to a real URL in your site before editing. Remove routes you do not need so navigation does not expose unfinished screens.
- Replace all sample copy, statistics, people, logos and media. Treat every placeholder as unverified content, not as a claim you can publish.
- Audit utility classes and responsive states at narrow, medium and wide widths. A block that looks correct in the demo may overflow when your text is longer.
- Run an accessibility pass: heading order, visible focus, color contrast, form labels, keyboard access to dialogs and meaningful alternative text.
- Check the exact license for the template, icons, illustrations and fonts separately. Keep notices in your repository and in any redistributed package where required.
License, attribution and redistribution checks
Do not infer redistribution rights from a “free” badge. Landwind’s repository explicitly identifies an MIT license. Preline’s repository names both MIT and a Fair Use License, so determine which terms govern the code, components and any downloaded template assets. A license can allow commercial website use while restricting resale of an unchanged template, removal of notices or redistribution of proprietary artwork.
For every asset, save a small record containing the source URL, download date, license name, required attribution and whether modification or redistribution is allowed. Check:
Rank #4
- Whether the license covers the complete template or only the component library.
- Whether bundled images, icons, fonts and illustrations have separate owners.
- Whether you may distribute source files to clients or only deploy a compiled site.
- Whether copyright and license notices must remain in source or user-visible documentation.
- Whether a Fair Use policy limits cloning, resale, competing template products or automated redistribution.
When the wording is unclear, ask the copyright holder or have counsel review it. A permissive code license does not automatically transfer rights to every visual asset in a screenshot.
Paid catalogs that should not be counted as free templates
Preline Pro
The Preline catalog separates its open-source offering from Pro. In the October 13, 2026 snapshot, the displayed open-source plan listed 640-plus components, 189 blocks and five templates with five main pages. The Pro section displayed 21 premium templates with 207 pages and a $249 solo plan, alongside separate team and enterprise plans. These figures and prices are catalog snapshots, not permanent terms. Do not count Pro-only pages as free merely because they appear on the same website.
Flowbite marketing UI
Flowbite’s marketing UI demo search listing displayed 53 premium marketing pages, and Flowbite Pro describes access to a paid collection. The Flowbite license page describes an MIT grant for covered software, but the available evidence does not establish that every premium marketing page is included in that grant. Check the license for the exact asset instead of treating the software license as blanket permission for paid templates.
daisyUI store examples
The daisyUI store lists paid examples such as SaaS landing-page and mobile-app landing-page templates. They are useful comparisons for structure and pricing expectations, but they are not free recommendations and should not be included in a free-template count.
How to verify a claim of “33 free templates”
If you need a larger editorial list, build it from a spreadsheet rather than copying a headline. For each candidate, record:
- The exact template name and canonical URL.
- The date and region in which its free status was checked.
- Whether the download is complete source code, a demo, a block kit or a time-limited trial.
- Page count and named sections taken from the current documentation.
- Required stack, build command and framework dependencies.
- Code, image, icon and font licenses, including attribution requirements.
- Whether resale, client handoff and redistribution are permitted.
- Repository activity, issue status and dependency age.
Only after every row is verified should a publisher use a precise number such as 33. Otherwise, a smaller list of documented options is more useful and less likely to send readers toward a paid or restricted download.

Common problems and fixes
The page is unstyled after deployment
Check that the production CSS file was generated, uploaded and referenced with the correct path. Confirm that Tailwind content globs include your template files and that your host serves CSS with the correct MIME type.
Styles disappear from production but work locally
Tailwind removes classes it cannot detect in scanned content. Avoid constructing utility class names by concatenating arbitrary strings; use complete class names or safelist the small set of dynamic classes your application truly needs.
Interactive elements do nothing
Verify that the required JavaScript bundle is loaded, that scripts run after the relevant markup exists and that production bundling has not removed plugin code. Test one menu or FAQ component in isolation before changing the whole page.
A demo looks broken with real copy
Long headings, translated text and real prices expose fixed heights and narrow grids. Replace fixed heights with content-safe layouts, allow wrapping, check overflow at 320px-wide viewports and retest every breakpoint.
A client asks for the source files
Review the template, font, image and icon licenses separately. Provide the notices and license texts required by each license, and do not assume that permission to deploy a site includes permission to resell an unchanged template package.
A “free” download becomes paid
Save the version, URL and license you used. If the vendor changes access later, your records help establish which terms accompanied your copy. For new projects, recheck the current catalog before promising a template to a client.
Bottom line
For a documented free SaaS or product landing page, start with Landwind and its MIT-licensed repository. For purpose-built multi-page demos, inspect Preline Agency, SaaS Startup, AI Chat, CMS, Coffee Shop and Personal, while checking the current files and license terms for each. Do not present 33 as a verified count, and do not treat paid Pro or premium marketing catalogs as free simply because they share a vendor’s website.
