Buy a USB-C charger that explicitly supports USB Power Delivery with Programmable Power Supply (PPS) and is rated at 30W or higher. That is the specification Google gives for the Pixel 11 Pro to reach up to 55% charge in about 30 minutes. A larger wattage number alone is not enough: the charger must advertise PPS, and the cable and charging conditions also affect speed.

The Pixel 11 Pro charger is sold separately. Google also lists lower-wattage USB PD adapters as compatible, but it does not claim that they deliver the phone’s advertised 30-minute result. The Pixel 11 Pro XL uses a different 45W/75% specification, so do not use the XL figure when choosing a charger for the regular Pro.

The short answer: choose 30W USB-C PPS or more

For the documented fast-charge target, select a wall charger with all of these words or equivalent specifications:

  • USB-C output
  • USB Power Delivery (USB PD)
  • Programmable Power Supply (PPS)
  • At least 30W on the USB-C port

Google’s Pixel 11 Pro specifications state that the phone can reach up to 55% in about 30 minutes when connected to a 30W USB-C PPS charger or higher. This is a manufacturer-stated result, not a guarantee for every battery level, temperature, cable, charger design or outlet. See Google’s current technical specifications at Google Pixel 11 Pro technical specifications.

  • Faster & Cooler Choice: This UGREEN USB C Charger Block supports a max power transmission of 30W. Within 30 minutes, it can charge your iPhone 17 or Galaxy S26 to about 60%. Not only that, the Always-On Temperature Detection also ensures that it will not overheat during the fast charging process.
  • Spend Less, Charge More: This USB C Charger has 3 interfaces, including 2 USB C and 1 USB A interface, which ensures its wide compatibility and can be used with different devices. You can charge three of your devices at the same time. Just enjoy the convenience of multiple interfaces.
  • Real safety is safe inside and out: The charger features an upgraded GaN II chip, offering efficient heat dissipation and faster response to over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection. Its housing is made of flame-retardant matte PC material, ensuring complete safety both inside and out for this compact charger.
  • Compact and lightweight: This charger easily fits into your bag or pocket, making it perfect for travel, office, or daily carry. Its small size doesn’t just save space — it also keeps your desk tidy, reduces clutter, and lets you charge multiple devices anywhere without hassle.
  • Multi-Protocol Charging: Supports PD, QC, and PPS fast-charging protocols. Tip: When using multiple ports simultaneously, single outputs up to 15W. For original Mag Safe accessories, use a single port.

Look for “PPS” or “Programmable Power Supply” in the charger’s technical specifications, not just in a product title. A charger advertised as 65W, 100W or higher can still lack PPS, while a 30W PPS charger is a direct match for the Pixel 11 Pro’s documented wired charging requirement.

What Google actually specifies

Pixel 11 Pro wired charging

Google’s stated wired target is up to 55% in approximately 30 minutes using a 30W USB-C PPS adapter or one with a higher rating. The adapter is not included with the phone. The phone controls how much power it accepts; connecting a charger with a higher maximum output does not force the Pixel 11 Pro to draw that entire amount.

Google’s Pixel Help guidance lists “Any Programmable Power Supply (PPS) power adapter rated for 30W or more.” The same guidance says charging speed can vary with the charger and cable. Read the full compatibility guidance at Google Pixel Help: Charge your Pixel phone.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Pixel 11 Pro XL is a different case

The Pixel 11 Pro XL is specified at up to 75% in about 30 minutes with a 45W USB-C PPS charger or higher. That 45W/75% figure belongs to the XL and should not be used as the expected result for the smaller Pixel 11 Pro. Buying a 45W or 67W PPS charger for the regular Pro is fine for headroom or for charging other devices, but it does not change the Pro’s published 55%-in-30-minutes claim.

Wireless charging is separate

Google lists up to 25W Qi2.2-certified wireless charging for the Pixel 11 Pro. Wireless charging requires a compatible Qi2.2-certified accessory and is a different path from USB-C PPS. A wireless pad cannot be evaluated by the 30W USB-C PPS rule, and a 30W wired charger does not automatically provide 25W wireless output.

Charger types and when each makes sense

Charger specification What Google documents Best use Important qualification
USB-C PD with PPS, 30W or higher Direct match for the Pixel 11 Pro’s advertised fast-charge target Best choice for one Pixel 11 Pro Verify that PPS is explicitly listed and that 30W applies to the USB-C port you will use
USB-C PD with PPS, 45W or higher Meets the Pro’s 30W-or-more requirement Extra capacity for another device or future phone The Pixel 11 Pro still follows its own charging limits; higher charger wattage does not guarantee a faster Pro charge
USB-C PD with PPS, 67W Google lists a 67W USB-C fast charger category as usable Desk or travel charger shared with tablets and laptops Check the output profile and multi-port behavior for the exact model
USB-C PD, 15W or higher, without stated PPS Google lists other USB PD adapters rated at 15W or more as compatible Basic or backup charging Google does not say this category achieves the Pro’s advertised 55%-in-30-minutes result
Qi2.2-certified wireless charger Up to 25W wireless charging is listed for Pixel 11 Pro Bedside, desk or stand charging without a cable Separate wireless accessory; do not compare its rating directly with wired USB-C output

How to verify a charger listing before you buy

Use the charger’s detailed specifications rather than relying on the headline wattage or a photograph of the box. Work through this checklist for the exact model and regional version.

  1. Find the USB-C output table. Confirm that the port is USB-C and supports USB Power Delivery. A USB-C-shaped port by itself does not prove USB PD support.
  2. Find the PPS entry. It may appear as “PPS,” “Programmable Power Supply,” or a PPS voltage/current range. If the listing never mentions PPS, treat PPS support as unverified.
  3. Confirm at least 30W on the port you will use. On a multi-port charger, the advertised total may be shared. Check the single-port output and the output when other ports are occupied.
  4. Check the regional model number. Charger families can have different versions for different countries, plugs or revisions. Confirm the specifications for the exact model being shipped.
  5. Check whether a USB-C cable is included. An included cable can reduce compatibility uncertainty, but still inspect its connector type and the charger’s stated output requirements.
  6. Check electrical and safety information. Choose a certified compatible adapter from a reputable manufacturer, with clear input, output and protection specifications.

Do not infer PPS from a phrase such as “fast charging,” “GaN,” “laptop charger,” or “up to 100W.” Those descriptions can be useful context, but they do not establish the protocol the Pixel 11 Pro needs for its documented fast-charge target.

Why PPS matters more than a bigger wattage number

USB Power Delivery negotiates power between the charger and phone. PPS adds programmable voltage and current adjustments within the charger’s supported range, allowing the phone to request an appropriate operating point as its battery state and temperature change. The phone remains in control; the charger does not push its maximum wattage continuously.

Google’s Pixel 11 Pro safety and regulatory guide describes a certified USB PD 3.0 PPS adapter output of up to 11V DC at 3A for the Pro. That electrical limit is separate from the higher maximum specified for the Pro XL. Keep the model-specific limits in mind when comparing listings. The guide is available at Google’s Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL safety and regulatory guide.

A non-PPS USB PD charger may still charge the phone, especially if it meets Google’s listed 15W-or-more compatibility guidance. It simply should not be presented as equivalent to the 30W-or-more PPS setup used for the advertised fast-charge figure.

Choosing between 30W, 45W and 67W

30W PPS: the simplest match

A 30W PPS charger is sufficient for the Pixel 11 Pro’s documented wired target. It is usually the most compact choice when the charger will be used primarily for this phone. Confirm that the 30W rating is available from the USB-C port and not only as a combined total across several outputs.

45W PPS: useful headroom

A 45W PPS charger meets the Pro’s requirement while leaving capacity for accessories or another phone. It is also the minimum PPS class Google associates with the Pixel 11 Pro XL’s separate 75%-in-30-minutes claim, although the regular Pro will still follow its own limits. Choose this size when one charger may serve both Pixel models or other medium-power USB-C devices.

67W PPS: a shared desk or travel option

Google lists 67W USB-C fast chargers among compatible categories. This size can make sense if the same charger will power a tablet or a USB-C laptop in addition to the Pixel 11 Pro. Read the power-allocation table carefully: plugging in a second device can reduce the USB-C port below the level you expected.

Ports and shared output: the specification many buyers miss

Multi-port chargers are convenient, but their headline wattage is often the maximum under a particular combination of ports. A charger may provide 65W with one USB-C port in use and divide that power when a second USB-C port or USB-A port is connected. The exact split differs by model.

For a multi-port purchase, verify three values in the manufacturer’s table:

If you want the most predictable Pixel 11 Pro charging, connect the phone to the port whose individual specification explicitly includes PPS and at least 30W. Do not assume every USB-C port on a multi-port charger has the same profile.

The cable is part of the charging setup

Use a USB-C-to-USB-C cable for the fastest charging path. Google says USB-A-to-USB-C connections charge more slowly than USB-C-to-USB-C. The Pixel 11 Pro technical specifications list a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable in the box, so you may not need to buy a separate cable for ordinary wall charging.

When replacing or adding a cable, check that it is a sound, compliant USB-C cable and that its connectors fit securely. A cable can be USB-C on both ends yet still be damaged, poorly made or unsuitable for the power level claimed by the charger. If the phone charges slowly with one cable but normally with another known-good USB-C-to-USB-C cable, replace the suspect cable before replacing the charger.

How to get the fastest real-world charge

The “up to 55% in about 30 minutes” figure describes a defined charging result, not a promise that every session will look identical. Battery percentage at the start, screen use, ambient temperature, cable condition and charger behavior all affect the result.

  1. Start with a cool phone. Remove heat-trapping material if appropriate and avoid charging in direct sun or a hot vehicle.
  2. Connect the USB-C-to-USB-C cable directly to the PPS USB-C port. Avoid hubs, low-power adapters and unknown extension accessories while troubleshooting speed.
  3. Limit heavy use during the first charging period. Gaming, navigation, video recording and hotspot use create heat and consume power while the phone is charging.
  4. Keep the phone and adapter ventilated. Place the charger and phone on a hard, stable surface rather than bedding, a sofa or another soft surface.
  5. Allow the charging negotiation to complete. If you repeatedly disconnect and reconnect, or switch between ports, the phone may renegotiate power each time.

Google notes that charging may pause if the phone becomes too warm and will resume after it cools. A pause in that situation is a protective behavior, not proof that the charger is defective.

Safety and placement

Use a certified compatible adapter and inspect the charger, cable and plug for damage. Keep ventilation openings clear, do not cover the adapter while it is operating, and charge on a hard surface away from flammable materials. Google’s safety guide provides the model’s electrical and handling requirements; follow it for your region and plug type.

  • Stop using a cable with exposed conductors, bent connectors, scorch marks or a loose fit.
  • Do not use a charger that becomes unusually hot, smells burnt or makes repeated electrical noises.
  • Keep liquid away from the phone, cable ends and adapter.
  • Use the correct mains plug or a properly rated regional adapter; do not force an incompatible plug into an outlet.

Troubleshooting a Pixel 11 Pro that charges slowly

The charger says 65W or 100W, but the phone is not fast charging

Check the detailed output table for PPS. If PPS is absent or listed only on another port, the large wattage number does not establish compatibility with the Pro’s documented fast-charge mode. Move the cable to the specified PPS port or use a charger that explicitly provides USB-C PPS at 30W or higher.

The charger supports PPS, but charging slows when another device is connected

Look up the multi-port allocation for that exact charger. Shared output can reduce the USB-C port’s available wattage or remove a particular PPS profile. Disconnect the second device and test the Pixel 11 Pro alone; if speed returns, the charger is operating according to its shared-output design.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The phone pauses charging

Feel for excessive warmth, move the setup to a cooler, ventilated hard surface and stop demanding applications temporarily. Google says charging can pause when the device gets too warm and resume after cooling. If the phone remains cool but repeatedly pauses with different cables and a known-compatible PPS charger, inspect the USB-C port for debris and seek device support rather than forcing the connector.

Charging is slow only with a USB-A cable

Replace the USB-A-to-USB-C connection with USB-C-to-USB-C. Google specifically identifies USB-A-to-USB-C as slower, so this change can matter even when the wall adapter itself is capable of more power.

What “best” means when there is no verified model ranking

The best charger for a particular Pixel 11 Pro setup is the one whose exact specification satisfies the phone’s requirements and your port needs. Model names and product families are not enough because revisions, regional versions and shared-output rules can differ.

Use this decision framework:

  • Phone-only bedside charger: 30W USB-C PPS, one port, with a USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
  • One charger for phone and accessories: 45W or higher USB-C PPS, after checking the output split when multiple ports are used.
  • Phone plus tablet or USB-C laptop: 67W USB-C PPS can be practical, provided the Pixel port retains PPS when the other device is connected.
  • Wireless convenience: choose a Qi2.2-certified wireless charger for the separate up-to-25W wireless mode, while keeping a PPS wall charger for fastest wired charging.
  • Emergency or backup use: a USB PD adapter rated at 15W or more is listed by Google as compatible, but do not expect the published 30-minute fast-charge result from that category unless PPS at 30W or higher is also specified.

Key takeaways

  • For the regular Google Pixel 11 Pro, buy USB-C USB PD with explicit PPS support and a rating of at least 30W.
  • Google’s stated result is up to 55% in about 30 minutes under suitable conditions; it is not a universal guarantee.
  • The Pixel 11 Pro XL has a separate 45W/75%-in-30-minutes specification.
  • A higher wattage label without PPS is not proof of the required charging mode.
  • Use USB-C-to-USB-C, check multi-port power sharing and keep the phone cool and ventilated.
  • Google lists USB PD adapters rated at 15W or more as usable, but that lower category is not documented as meeting the Pro’s advertised fast-charge result.
