The best wired charger for the standard Google Pixel 11 is a USB-C Power Delivery adapter that explicitly supports PPS (Programmable Power Supply) and provides at least 30 W. Google says this combination can charge the phone to up to 55% in about 30 minutes. For a wireless setup, choose a Qi2.2-certified charger; the Pixel 11 supports up to 25 W wirelessly. The wall charger is sold separately, but Google includes a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable in the box.

Quick answer: what to buy

Look for these words on the exact charger specification: USB-C PD PPS, 30 W or higher. PPS matters as much as the wattage. A 65 W or 100 W adapter without PPS is not automatically the right choice for the Pixel 11’s published fast-charge rate.

Use case Minimum specification to look for What Google states
Fastest stated wired charging USB-C Power Delivery with PPS, at least 30 W Up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 30 W USB-C PPS charger or higher
Higher-capacity wired adapter USB-C PD PPS, 45 W or 67 W Supported by Google’s compatibility guidance; the phone still draws only what it needs
Basic wired charging USB Power Delivery, at least 15 W Usable, but not the published 30 W PPS fast-charge configuration
Older cable and charger setup USB-A to USB-C Works more slowly than a USB-C adapter with a USB-C cable
Wireless charging Qi2.2-certified charger Up to 25 W

These are compatibility classes, not a ranking of individual manufacturers. The available evidence identifies the required protocols and power levels, but does not independently test or rank third-party models.

Why PPS is the key specification

USB Power Delivery (PD) negotiates a charging power level between the adapter and phone. PPS adds finer-grained, continuously adjustable voltage and current requests instead of relying only on a few fixed voltage steps. That lets a compatible phone regulate the input more precisely as its battery state and temperature change.

For Pixel 11 buyers, the practical rule is simple: the product page or technical sheet should explicitly say USB-C PPS. “Fast charging,” “PD,” or a large headline wattage by itself does not establish PPS support. Check the exact model number, because an adapter family can contain versions with different output profiles.

What the 30 W figure means

Google specifies up to 55% in about 30 minutes when the Pixel 11 is connected to a 30 W USB-C PPS charger or a higher-rated one. “Up to” describes a maximum under Google’s stated charging conditions, not a guaranteed result for every session. Battery temperature, starting percentage, phone activity, cable condition and regional or model differences can affect the result.

A 45 W or 67 W PPS charger can be useful when you also charge a tablet, laptop or another phone. It does not mean the Pixel 11 will charge at 45 W or 67 W; the phone and charger negotiate an appropriate level, and Google’s cited Pixel 11 result remains the 30 W-or-higher PPS configuration.

Google’s compatible wired charger choices

Google’s Pixel Help guidance names its own 30 W, 45 W and 67 W USB-C Fast Chargers, as well as third-party PPS adapters rated at least 30 W. Any of those classes meets the stated fast-charge requirement when the adapter’s specification confirms PPS.

Adapter class Best for Important check Trade-off
30 W USB-C PPS One Pixel 11 and a compact everyday kit Confirm PPS and a USB-C output Less spare capacity for larger devices
45 W USB-C PPS Pixel 11 plus a tablet or other medium-power device Confirm the 45 W rating applies to the port you will use May be larger or more expensive than a 30 W model
67 W USB-C PPS One charger for a phone and a USB-C laptop Check the output profile and port-sharing table Extra capacity does not make the Pixel 11 exceed its negotiated limit
Generic USB-C PD, 15 W or more Travel backup or slow overnight charging Verify USB PD; do not assume PPS Does not meet Google’s cited 30 W PPS setup
USB-A charger Using an existing legacy charger Use a suitable USB-A-to-USB-C cable Google says it charges more slowly than USB-C-to-USB-C

How to choose a third-party Pixel 11 charger

  1. Start with the port. Prefer a USB-C output. A USB-A port can charge the phone, but it is not the preferred path for the stated fast-charge rate.
  2. Read the protocol line. Find “PPS” in the technical specifications, not just in a marketing heading. “USB PD 3.0” without PPS is not enough to verify the 55%-in-30-minutes configuration.
  3. Confirm at least 30 W. The requirement applies to the adapter’s available USB-C output. A multi-port charger may advertise a combined total that is higher than the power available from one port.
  4. Inspect the output table. If several ports are used together, determine whether the USB-C port remains at 30 W PPS or drops to a lower mode. Product pages should state single-port and shared-port limits.
  5. Check the included cable. Google supplies a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable. You need another cable only for a different length, a spare, or a second charging location. For fast charging, use a USB-C cable rated for the adapter’s stated USB-C PD capability.
  6. Compare physical design. A small single-port adapter is convenient for a bag. A multi-port desktop-style unit can replace several chargers but may be heavier and may redistribute power when devices are connected.
  7. Verify regional compliance and warranty. Plug shape, mains-voltage compatibility and safety certification vary by country. Use a charger sold for your electrical region and retain its documentation.

30 W, 45 W or 67 W: which size is right?

Choose 30 W when the Pixel 11 is the main device

A 30 W USB-C PPS adapter is the straightforward choice for a phone-only setup. It meets Google’s stated threshold without paying for capacity the Pixel 11 cannot use. It is also generally the easiest size to pack, although the dimensions depend on the particular design.

Choose 45 W for a two-device routine

A 45 W PPS adapter gives more headroom for a Pixel 11 and a tablet, handheld console or other USB-C device. Before buying, confirm how much power remains on the Pixel 11 port when the second port is occupied. The headline 45 W total may be divided between ports.

Choose 67 W as a phone-and-laptop charger

A 67 W PPS adapter is sensible when one charger must also serve a USB-C laptop. It can reduce the number of adapters in a travel bag. It is not a reason to expect a faster Pixel 11 charge than Google’s 30 W PPS specification, and it may be physically larger.

Wireless alternative: Qi2.2 up to 25 W

The Pixel 11 supports Qi2.2-certified Pixelsnap charging up to 25 W, according to Google’s product specifications. This is the choice for a desk, bedside stand or other location where placing the phone on a pad is more convenient than plugging in a cable.

What to verify before buying

  • Look for explicit Qi2.2 certification or compatibility in the charger’s specification.
  • Check that the advertised power applies to Pixel 11 compatibility, not only to another phone model.
  • Confirm whether the charger includes its own power adapter. Some wireless stands require a separate USB-C adapter with enough capacity.
  • Consider alignment and stand angle if you want to use the phone while it charges.
  • Remember that Google specifies the phone’s wireless ceiling as up to 25 W; a pad labeled with a higher number does not make the Pixel 11 charge above that ceiling.

Google does not provide a wired-versus-wireless time comparison in the cited material, so choose wireless for convenience rather than assuming it will match the 30 W wired result.

The cable in the Pixel 11 box

The package listing includes a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable. That is sufficient for the normal connection between a USB-C wall adapter and the phone. Buy a longer cable when the outlet is distant, or a second cable when you want one permanently at work, beside the bed or in a travel bag.

A cable cannot add PPS capability that the adapter lacks. If a charger is not negotiating the expected fast mode, first confirm the adapter’s PPS specification and then test with a known-good USB-C-to-USB-C cable. Avoid treating a cable’s maximum wattage label as proof that the complete charger-and-phone combination supports PPS.

Using older or lower-power adapters

USB-C PD at 15 W or more

Google says other USB Power Delivery adapters rated at least 15 W can be used. This is a general compatibility floor, not a replacement for the 30 W PPS requirement tied to the published 55%-in-30-minutes result. A 15 W PD adapter is appropriate as a backup or overnight charger when speed is less important.

USB-A to USB-C

An existing USB-A charger and USB-A-to-USB-C cable can still charge the phone. Google states that this arrangement is slower than a USB-C adapter paired with a USB-C cable. It is useful for legacy chargers, cars and low-cost backup locations, but it is not the setup to buy when your goal is the Pixel 11’s stated fast-charge performance.

Electrical and safety details

Google’s safety guidance identifies USB PD fast charging and lists electrical limits for the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro of up to 11 V DC at 3 A when using USB PD 3.0 PPS-enabled adapters. This explains why protocol and profile compatibility matter: the phone expects a negotiated USB-C PD/PPS supply, not an arbitrary high-voltage source.

Troubleshooting a Pixel 11 that charges slowly

The adapter is high wattage but charging is not fast

Recheck the exact model’s technical sheet for PPS. A 65 W or 100 W label does not establish PPS. Also make sure you are using the USB-C port that provides PPS; some multi-port adapters reserve it for one specific port.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The phone charges quickly alone but slows when another device is connected

That behavior usually indicates port sharing. Consult the adapter’s output table and reconnect the Pixel 11 to the port that retains at least 30 W PPS when multiple ports are active. If no port maintains that profile, use a single-port adapter for the fast-charge session.

A USB-A setup works but is slow

This is expected under Google’s guidance. Replace the USB-A adapter and cable with a USB-C PD PPS adapter rated at least 30 W when you need the published fast-charge configuration.

The wireless stand does not reach its advertised speed

Confirm Qi2.2 certification, use the power adapter required by the stand, and position the phone correctly on the charging surface. The Pixel 11’s stated wireless ceiling is up to 25 W, so a higher-rated stand cannot raise that limit.

Charging speed varies from one session to another

The 55% figure is a Google specification expressed as “up to” and “about.” Starting battery level, phone use, temperature and other conditions can change the result. A variation does not by itself prove that the charger is defective; verify the PPS profile and cable before replacing equipment.

A practical buying checklist

  • USB-C output, not only USB-A.
  • Explicit USB PD PPS support in the exact model’s specifications.
  • At least 30 W available from the port you will use.
  • Output-sharing behavior documented for multi-port use.
  • Suitable plug and electrical rating for your country.
  • Included cable length checked against your setup; the phone already comes with a 1 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
  • For wireless charging, explicit Qi2.2 compatibility and a suitable power adapter.
  • Return and warranty terms from the seller or manufacturer.

What this evidence does—and does not—establish

Google’s product and support material establishes the Pixel 11’s charging requirements and top-line limits: 30 W or higher USB-C PPS for the cited wired rate, up to 55% in about 30 minutes, and up to 25 W with Qi2.2 wireless charging. It also identifies compatible Google adapter capacities and the slower behavior of USB-A charging.

It does not establish a universally best third-party make or model, current retail pricing, country-by-country stock, exact PPS profiles for every adapter, or multi-port performance for a particular product. Those details must be checked against the current technical sheet for the model you are considering.
