Which deal fits your budget?
Under $200: inexpensive upgrades
The Samsung 24-inch LED FreeSync model is the cheapest option at $119.99. The AOC 27-inch curved monitor costs $139.99, the ASUS TUF Series 5 curved model is $179.99, and Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey G4 Fast IPS display is $199.99. These are the sensible starting points for a first gaming monitor, a second display or a setup where keeping the budget below $200 matters more than buying an OLED or Mini-LED panel.

$500 to $800: feature-focused screens
The ASUS ROG Strix 27-inch 2K OLED is $499.99, Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 is $699.99, and LG’s UltraGear evo AI 27-inch 5K Mini LED is $799.99. This tier is where panel technology and resolution become the main reasons to spend more: OLED models target buyers who prioritize OLED image characteristics, while the LG is the only listed 5K Mini-LED display.
$1,000 and above: wide-screen immersion
Samsung’s 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 is $999.99, and the 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 Mini-LED Curved is $1,449.99. These are physically large, wide-format choices intended for an immersive desktop view. Measure your desk, check your mounting space and confirm that your computer has the outputs and graphics performance needed for the monitor’s resolution before choosing one.

- Ergonomic stand allows for tilt, pivot and height adjustments to maximize gaming comfort
How to compare the panels and formats
Fast IPS
The Odyssey G4 uses a Fast IPS panel. It is the straightforward choice in this list for shoppers who want a conventional flat gaming display at a relatively low price and do not need OLED or Mini-LED.
OLED
The ASUS ROG Strix 2K, Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 and Samsung OLED G9 all use OLED panels. Pick among them by size and format: 27-inch 2K for a standard desk, 27-inch G6 for a higher-priced conventional-size OLED, or 49-inch G9 for a much wider workspace.
Rank #3
- Smooth motion: 240Hz refresh rate and fast 0.5ms response time provide crisp visuals and fluid movement with less input lag.
- Seamless gaming: FreeSync Premium and HDMI VRR eliminate tearing for smooth, responsive PC and console gameplay.
- Fast IPS: Faster 0.5ms response with excellent color accuracy across wide IPS viewing angles.
- Rich color: 99% sRGB color coverage delivers vivid, detailed imagery with strong accuracy.
- Eye comfort: TÜV Rheinland 3‑star certified display lowers blue light while preserving color quality.
Mini-LED
LG’s 27-inch 5K model and Samsung’s 57-inch Neo G9 use Mini-LED backlighting. The LG combines that panel type with a 5K label in a conventional 27-inch format; the Neo G9 combines Mini-LED with a 57-inch curved, wide-screen design.
Curved and wide-screen designs
The AOC and ASUS TUF listings are curved 27-inch-class choices, while Samsung’s 49-inch OLED G9 and 57-inch Neo G9 are the dedicated wide-screen options. Curvature is a fit and viewing-preference decision, so compare the monitor’s physical dimensions with your desk rather than judging only by diagonal size.
Rank #4

What the deal coverage does not establish
The October 14 roundup does not provide independent laboratory measurements for refresh rate, response time, HDR performance or input lag for these specific listings. Use the individual Best Buy product pages to confirm those specifications, connector requirements, stand or mounting details and warranty terms for the exact model before paying.

Bottom line
For a low-cost upgrade, start with the $119.99 Samsung 24-inch or the $199.99 Odyssey G4. OLED buyers have three distinct size and price choices, while the 49-inch OLED G9 delivers the largest listed dollar cut. The 57-inch Neo G9 is the premium choice for a very large curved workspace, provided your desk and computer can support it. In every case, treat the displayed price as a snapshot and verify Best Buy’s live listing before ordering.
