Super Structures Ascended: broad scope, uncertain momentum
Super Structures Ascended is presented as a comprehensive building and quality-of-life overhaul that remains in progress. Its planned release list ends with “Release 8 – Core Building Structures,” indicating that the project’s intended scope is larger than a small placement helper.

This is the strongest choice for builders who care about silhouette and geometry more than automation. Diagonal openings can make towers, roofs, and angled corridors look intentional instead of assembled from square compromises. Behemoth walls address the scale problem of large gates and perimeter builds. AntiGrav foundations enable suspended or otherwise unconventional layouts.
Because its identity is a remake, confirm that the ASA version includes the particular pieces you need. A remake can preserve the design philosophy without reproducing every historical object.
Mystic Plus and Mutation Structures: targeted S+ lineage
Mystic Plus (M+) is a custom S+ conversion tailored to one community. Its listing says it does not include everything from the original S+. It adds or lists the Mutator and Nanny, with a Propagator planned.
That makes M+ a specialist option, not a safe assumption that you are receiving the complete S+ catalog. It is sensible when the structures used by that community are exactly the ones you want, but compare its current item list with your planned build before replacing a broader mod.

This is a good companion for a full structure overhaul when you mostly like your available pieces but fight awkward snap points or restrictive placement rules. A CurseForge snippet showed roughly 164,500 downloads. As with every snippet-level number, confirm the live count and current ASA support before treating it as a popularity signal.
Combine and Divide Structures
Combine and Divide Structures addresses scale rather than automation. It converts four quarter-size walls into one full wall, and can divide a full wall back into four quarter walls. The listed materials are Wood, Stone, Metal, and Tek.
The conversion model is simple enough to plan around: quarter pieces give you finer control around windows, corners, and irregular rooms; full pieces reduce the number of placements for long straight runs. The mod is therefore useful even when you do not want a wholesale replacement of vanilla structures.
Automated Ark: AA Building Helper

- Right-click: remote pickup.
- N: manual sorting.

B+ Structures is a broader quality-of-life and automation suite covering storage, breeding, crafting, and administrative control. It replaces vanilla structures but is not an S+ port. Many 2026 roundups call Structures Plus the essential ASA building mod. The verified information available here does not support that wording. No official CurseForge listing titled “Structures Plus” for ASA was found in the follow-up check. The closest official port identified is CG Structures.
Do not repeat an unverified claim that S+ is the most-installed ASA mod, and do not rely on an unverified numeric project ID. If a page, video, or server guide tells you to install “S+ for ASA,” identify the exact current project name and publisher first. A similarly named fork, community conversion, or discontinued project can have a different item catalog and different save-game behavior.

1. Decide whether you need pieces, tools, or skins
- Choose CG Structures, Super Structures Ascended, or Arkitect Structures Remastered when the available building pieces are the problem.
- Choose Ketaros Advanced Building, Combine and Divide Structures, or AA Building Helper when vanilla pieces are adequate but placement or cleanup is slow.
- Choose Modern Structure Skins when appearance is the only deficiency.
2. Check maintenance before you build around it

Make a backup or duplicate world before adding, removing, or reordering a structure mod. Place a small test foundation, wall, door, storage container, and any special station you intend to use. Leave and reload the world, then test pickup, demolition, snapping, and crafting. Only after that should you reproduce a major base.
4. Add one structural overhaul at a time
Two mods that both replace or extend the same vanilla structure can compete over item definitions, engrams, snap points, or inventories. Start with one primary piece set. Add a helper only after the base set works, and document the load order and version you tested.
5. Keep a migration plan
Save the original mod names, versions, configuration files, and a map of where special structures are used. If a project stops receiving updates, you will know which buildings depend on it and can rebuild those sections before removing the mod.
Mods and projects to avoid or verify carefully
Dwarven Builders Mod
