There is no single budget 24-inch monitor that is best for everyone: the right choice depends on whether you prioritize office ergonomics, laptop connectivity, or gaming refresh rate. Start with a 1920 × 1080 IPS display, then check the exact model’s refresh rate, stand adjustments, ports, and local price. “24-inch” is a size class; some monitors sold under that label have a viewable diagonal of about 23.8 inches.

What should you look for in an affordable 24-inch monitor?

For everyday office work, studying, and home use, Full HD (1920 × 1080) is a common resolution in this size class. IPS is also available across several models here, including examples from LG and Dell. Those labels alone do not tell you whether a monitor fits your setup: refresh rate, stand movement, and connectivity can make a more practical difference.

  • For office work: Check whether the stand adjusts to a comfortable height and angle. If you connect a laptop, confirm the available video inputs and whether USB-C provides the power delivery you need.
  • For study and general home use: Compare the resolution, panel type, available inputs, and the space the stand occupies. Consider whether built-in speakers matter to you, and confirm their presence on the exact model listing.
  • For casual or competitive gaming: Compare refresh rates and check for adaptive-sync support. A 24-inch label does not guarantee a particular refresh rate or gaming feature.

Also review the warranty and return terms for the model and seller in your region. Specifications and offers can vary by regional variant, and the evidence available for these models does not establish a universal winner or a stable market-wide budget ceiling.

How do the listed models differ?

The following examples are specification-led options, not the result of hands-on or controlled comparative testing. Their published specifications and price information come from different sources and should not be treated as a standardized ranking.

Model Published display details Notable features in the available listing
LG 24MK600M-B 24-inch-class Full HD IPS; 1920 × 1080 FreeSync support is listed by LG.
LG 24MK430H-B Full HD IPS; 23.8-inch diagonal Illustrates that a monitor sold as a 24-inch model may have a 23.8-inch viewable diagonal.
LG 24MP450-B 24-inch Full HD IPS; 1920 × 1080 LG lists the resolution and panel category.
Dell P2426H 24-inch IPS; 1920 × 1080; 60 Hz Height, swivel, and tilt adjustment; HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C power delivery up to 90 W, and additional USB ports.
Lenovo L24-4e 23.8-inch IPS; Full HD; 100 Hz Lenovo’s U.S. shopping page lists the refresh rate. Check its live model listing for complete port and stand details.
Dell SE2426HG DisplayNinja’s guide identifies it as a value option. DisplayNinja reported a $100 price; this is third-party editorial information, not a verified current retailer offer.

Which option fits your use?

Office work and laptop setups

The Dell P2426H is the clearest fit among these examples if stand adjustment and laptop connectivity are priorities. Dell lists height, swivel, and tilt adjustment, plus USB-C power delivery up to 90 W. Check that the exact regional model supports your laptop’s charging and display needs, and confirm which ports are available on the unit being sold.

General use and Full HD IPS

The LG 24MK600M-B, 24MK430H-B, and 24MP450-B are examples of Full HD IPS options in this size class. Their published details establish their resolution and panel category, but do not by themselves establish which is the best value or most suitable for a particular desk. Compare the exact model’s inputs, stand, warranty, and local price before choosing.

Gaming and higher refresh rates

The Lenovo L24-4e is listed at 100 Hz, while Dell lists the P2426H at 60 Hz. That difference may matter if your games and computer can make use of a higher refresh rate. LG lists FreeSync support for the 24MK600M-B. Before buying for gaming, verify the exact model suffix, refresh-rate specification, adaptive-sync support, and the input configuration that enables the features you want.

What do the available prices tell you?

They are snapshots from different sources, not a current, controlled price comparison. Dell’s U.S. catalog result displayed $164.99 alongside a $179.99 market price for the P2426H when accessed. DisplayNinja’s guide reported $100 for the Dell SE2426HG. The figures concern different models and sources, and neither should be treated as a guaranteed offer today.

Check the seller’s live price in your region, along with shipping, warranty, and return terms. If a retailer listing differs from a manufacturer page, compare the full model number and suffix so you are not judging a different regional or feature variant.

How to make the final choice

  1. Set your budget in your local currency. Prices vary by region and change over time; the figures above are not a fixed budget threshold.
  2. Choose your main use. For office work, prioritize stand adjustment and laptop ports; for gaming, compare refresh rate and adaptive sync; for general use, start with resolution, panel type, and the connections you need.
  3. Check the full specification for the exact model. Confirm the diagonal, resolution, refresh rate, inputs, stand movement, and any USB-C power delivery or adaptive-sync feature you intend to use.
  4. Review the purchase terms. Verify local stock, warranty coverage, and return policy before ordering.

These checks matter more than choosing a model simply because it is marketed as a 24-inch monitor. The available specifications support several use-case examples, but do not establish a tested overall winner.
