The closest browser matches to Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies are fan-made rebuilds of familiar maps such as Kino der Toten and Moon—not the original Treyarch game. For classic round-based mechanics on different maps, Nazi Zombies: Portable is another option. Other browser zombie games offer wave survival, co-op or shooting, but they are looser matches to the Black Ops formula.
Which browser games come closest to Black Ops Zombies?
A guide updated October 11, 2026 lists four browser-hosted Call of Duty Zombies map rebuilds: a Black Ops 1 map landing page, a Moon rebuild, a standalone Kino der Toten rebuild, and Cheese Cube, a Black Ops III custom-map rebuild. The guide describes these as fan recreations of maps, waves, points economy and familiar starting loadouts, built with web-native engine technology, models and sound—not as the original game. Radiant Optimizer Games’ browser map guide
| Option | What it offers | Players described by the guide | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black Ops 1 map landing page | Map selector with Black Ops and World at War map options | Solo survival | Choosing among several classic maps |
| Kino der Toten rebuild | Standalone rebuild of Kino der Toten | Solo survival | Starting with a familiar Black Ops map |
| Moon rebuild | Standalone rebuild of Moon | Solo survival | Trying a different Black Ops map |
| Cheese Cube | Black Ops III custom-map rebuild | Solo or co-op with up to three friends, according to the guide | Playing a custom map with others |
These player modes and limits are descriptions in the cited guide, not a consistent independent test; availability and features can change. The guide recommends Kino as a first choice because it is featured on the BO1 landing page and lists controls on screen. That is the guide’s recommendation, not a measured ranking. It also identifies Nacht der Untoten and Der Riese among World at War maps in the selector, and Five as a separate linked page. See the map guide for its listed links and details.
How does Nazi Zombies: Portable compare?
Nazi Zombies: Portable (NZ:P) is a separate fan remake inspired by World at War Zombies, not a Black Ops 1 map port. Its host page lists round-based survival, wall buys, a Mystery Box, perks and Pack-a-Punch, with its own maps, models and sounds. That makes it a fit for players who want the familiar survival mechanics but are open to different maps and presentation. The host page for Nazi Zombies: Portable

Other browser zombie games: good for action, not a Black Ops substitute
Browser zombie games span several genres, so the label alone does not tell you whether a title plays like a round-based first-person shooter. A roundup updated June 10, 2026 covers survival shooters, driving games, auto-shooters, tower defense and an .io battle royale. It describes Zombie Defense: Last Stand as fixed-position wave defense with barricades and weapons, and Zombie Royale Io as multiplayer infection-style battle royale. Neither is presented as a Black Ops map recreation. HT Hub’s browser zombie games roundup

The same roundup describes Horde Killer: You vs 100 as a third-person shooter with manual aiming, shooting, reloading, grenades and evasive movement, but says its listed browser edition is desktop-only. Dead Land: Survival is a turn-based survival RPG focused on gathering resources, repairs, quests and building a shelter. These can suit different kinds of zombie play, but neither has the documented Black Ops round-based FPS loop. A separate 2026 directory also lists Survive The Night, a co-op zombie FPS for up to 16 players, and Der Koloss, solo or four-player wave survival; the directory does not identify them as Black Ops map recreations. Choose by map fidelity, co-op and controls
- Want familiar Black Ops maps? Start with the Kino der Toten or Moon rebuilds, or use the BO1 map landing page to see the listed map choices.
- Want round-based mechanics but different maps? Consider NZ:P, whose host lists wall buys, a Mystery Box, perks and Pack-a-Punch.
- Want co-op? The October 2026 guide specifically describes Cheese Cube as supporting solo or co-op with up to three friends. Survive The Night is a broader co-op FPS option in the Foundplay directory, not a Black Ops remake.
- Want manual aiming? Look for a shooter that explicitly lists aiming and shooting controls. Horde Killer: You vs 100 is described that way, but its listed browser edition is desktop-only.
- Using a phone? Do not assume a browser game supports touch controls or mobile browsers. The NZ:P host describes desktop keyboard-and-mouse play, and the Horde Killer listing is described as desktop-only. Check the individual game page for current device and control support.
These sources do not provide a common performance test, so there is no supported graphics or frame-rate ranking across the options. They are third-party projects and directory listings; links, hosting and availability can change. A historical Activision announcement documented an Android adaptation in 2012, including solo and four-player Wi-Fi play at that time, but it does not establish that the app remains available or works on current devices.
