For a keyboard you can move between devices, start with Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 or Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s. Keys-To-Go 2 supports Android, ChromeOS, Windows, iPadOS, iOS and macOS wireless devices and can pair with up to three devices. Pebble Keys 2 K380s supports iPadOS, iOS and Android, has three Easy-Switch slots and carries Logitech’s estimate of up to 36 months of battery life. If you need a rigid viewing angle, tablet protection or a trackpad, choose a keyboard case instead.
A reliable nine-keyboard ranking is not possible from the currently documented specifications: only two standalone Bluetooth models have sufficiently detailed, current manufacturer information here. Rather than pad the list with unverified recommendations, this guide explains those two keyboards, the documented case options, compatibility checks and the setup and troubleshooting steps that determine whether any tablet keyboard will work well for you.
Quick answer: which type should you buy?
| Your priority | Best starting point | Why |
|---|---|---|
| One portable keyboard for several devices | Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 | Manufacturer-listed support for Android, ChromeOS, Windows, iPadOS, iOS and macOS, with switching among up to three devices. |
| Compact keyboard for Apple and Android tablets | Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s | Supports iPadOS, iOS and Android, offers three Easy-Switch slots and has a manufacturer battery estimate of up to 36 months. |
| Built-in stand, protection or trackpad | A keyboard case matched to your exact tablet | The case holds the screen at a viewing angle and may add a trackpad, but compatibility is tied to a particular tablet generation and size. |
Standalone keyboards leave the tablet separate. You can place the tablet on a desk stand, use it in portrait orientation or move the keyboard to a phone or laptop. A case is a more integrated workstation, but it adds bulk and must fit the tablet precisely. Decide between those two formats before comparing key feel or battery claims.

Standalone Bluetooth keyboards versus keyboard cases
What a standalone keyboard does well
- Multi-device flexibility: a keyboard with several pairing slots can serve a tablet, phone and computer without buying three keyboards.
- Flexible positioning: the tablet can sit on a separate stand, lie flat for drawing or be held while the keyboard remains on a desk.
- Replaceable setup: if your tablet changes size or brand, the keyboard may continue to work as long as the new device supports its operating system and Bluetooth profile.
What a keyboard case adds
- Integrated viewing angle: the case and tablet travel as one unit.
- Protection: the case can cover the tablet when closed, although protection varies by design and is not established for every model listed here.
- Trackpad option: some cases include a trackpad, allowing pointer-based work without carrying a mouse.
Cases also have trade-offs. Their hinges, shells and batteries can make the package heavier than a separate keyboard, and a case designed for one generation may not fit the next even when the screen size appears similar. A standalone model generally requires you to carry or provide a stand.

Logitech Keys-To-Go 2: the broadest listed device support
Logitech positions Keys-To-Go 2 as a tablet keyboard for wireless devices running Android, ChromeOS, Windows, iPadOS, iOS and macOS. The product page states that it can connect to and switch among up to three devices. That makes it the stronger starting point when your tablet is only one part of your setup—for example, when you also type on a phone and a computer.
Its main advantage is not a particular tablet feature; it is the ability to keep one compact, separate keyboard in your bag and reuse it across operating systems. Before ordering, confirm the regional key layout shown on the listing. Keyboard legends, return-key shape and punctuation placement can differ between language versions even when the model name is the same.
The cited manufacturer information does not establish a weight, packed dimensions, battery type or a measured battery-runtime result. Treat any retailer specification for those attributes as a separate claim and check the exact regional listing. The three-device figure is a product specification, not an independent test.

Logitech Pebble Keys 2 K380s: compact, with a long stated battery estimate
Logitech identifies Pebble Keys 2 K380s as a compact Bluetooth keyboard compatible with iPadOS, iOS and Android. It has three Easy-Switch device slots, so you can move between three paired devices using the keyboard’s device-selection controls.
Rank #2
- Full 3-System Compatibility & Wide Device Support: Perfectly compatible with Android, iOS and Windows three major systems. Works seamlessly with Samsung tablets, iPads, iPhones, laptops, smartphone, android, iOS, windows etc
- How to Switch Systems: Switching to the corresponding system will improve compatibility and higher work efficiency (“FN + A” is for iOs , “FN + S” is for Windows, “FN + D” is for Android )
- Enhanced Oversized Keycaps:27% bigger than standard keycaps. The spacious surface minimizes accidental presses and ensures comfortable typing for long hours
- 5 Adjustable Angles & Foldable Stand for tablet or phone, It effectively eases hand and eye fatigue during long hours of use, helping you stay focused and work more efficiently
- Long Battery Life & Smart Power Saving:Built‑in rechargeable lithium battery, Type‑C fast charging (full charge in 2–3 hours, last up to 200 hours with the backlight off, and 3-5 hours with the backlight on). Auto sleep mode after inactivity to save power, no frequent charging needed
Logitech advertises up to 36 months of battery life. That is a manufacturer estimate, and Logitech qualifies it as dependent on use and computing conditions; it is not an independently measured result. If you type for many hours every day, use a different connection pattern or operate in unusual conditions, your experience can be shorter.
K380s is the more focused choice if your devices are iPads, iPhones and Android tablets and you do not need the additional Windows, macOS or ChromeOS support explicitly listed for Keys-To-Go 2. As with any Bluetooth keyboard, check the exact layout and current package contents before purchase. The available specification does not establish its weight, dimensions or a universal key-switch description.
Keyboard cases worth evaluating
Apple Magic Keyboard variants
Apple’s current iPad accessories catalogue lists multiple Magic Keyboard variants. Apple Support’s cited specification page for the specifically named Magic Keyboard (USB-C) identifies Bluetooth connectivity for that model. Do not transfer that connection detail to every product called an iPad Magic Keyboard: Apple uses similar names for different accessories and generations.
To choose one, identify the exact iPad model and generation in Settings > General > About, then match that identifier to the accessory’s compatibility list. Screen size alone is not enough; camera placement, connector position and chassis dimensions can change between generations.
Rank #3
- Connect in seconds: Fast, easy Bluetooth wireless technology simply connects without the need for a dongle or USB port
- Durable and reliable: Built for quality, K250 offers long-lasting keys, a spill-resistant design (2)
- Comfort is key: Deep-profile keys and an adjustable tilt-leg design make typing feel great
- Space-saving: with a compact layout that still includes number pad, arrow keys, and handy F-key shortcuts
- Made responsibly: Designed to last, K250 plastic parts are durably made with minimum 64% recycled plastic (3) to withstand everyday use
Logitech Slim Folio accessories
Apple’s accessories catalogue also lists Logitech accessories including Slim Folio and Keys-To-Go 2. Slim Folio belongs in the case category: it is intended to keep the keyboard and tablet together rather than function as a universal loose keyboard. Verify the supported iPad generation and size on the current product listing before buying, because a case fit is model-specific.
ESR Rebound Bluetooth keyboard case with trackpad
A Tom’s Guide roundup dated October 12, 2026 describes an ESR Rebound Bluetooth keyboard case with a trackpad and lists compatibility with iPad Air 11-inch and 13-inch, iPad Pro 11-inch and 13-inch, and iPad 11. Those are the roundup’s stated compatibility claims, not a guarantee that every Rebound SKU fits every tablet in those families. Check the precise current SKU, generation and regional availability with the manufacturer before ordering.
The trackpad is the reason to consider this format rather than a simple case or standalone keyboard. It can be useful for pointer-based editing and multitasking, but it also means another surface, battery and input device to maintain. The cited roundup does not establish a universal weight, battery-runtime figure or key-layout specification for every version.

Rank #4
- Media-Friendly: The K400 Plus wireless touch TV keyboard gives you integrated, comfortable control of your PC-to-TV entertainment, eliminating the clutter of a separate keyboard and mouse
- Plug-and-Play: Simply plug the Unifying receiver into a USB port and the wireless touchpad keyboard is ready to go; adjust controls using the Logitech Options Software to save preferred settings
- Power-Packed: Built with laid-back control in mind, this wireless TV keyboard has a reliable and long battery life of up to 18 months (2), including an on/off button to help it go even longer
- Wireless Freedom: Designed for seamless comfort and control, this HTPC keyboard boasts a range of up to 33 ft (1) wireless connectivity, with quiet keys and a large touchpad for easy navigation
- Broad Compatibility: Designed for use with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and later, Android 7 or later, and Chrome OS
- Identify the tablet precisely. On an iPad, open Settings > General > About and record the model name, generation and model number. On Android, open Settings > About tablet; menu names vary by manufacturer. Record the screen size and operating-system version.
- Separate operating-system compatibility from physical fit. A standalone keyboard only needs a supported wireless operating system. A case needs the correct chassis dimensions, camera cut-out, connector location and generation. Never assume that two tablets with the same diagonal measurement share a case.
- Check the keyboard layout. Confirm language, regional layout and return-key style. A keyboard can pair successfully while still having unfamiliar punctuation or shortcut legends.
- Count your devices. Keys-To-Go 2 lists up to three connected devices; Pebble Keys 2 K380s provides three Easy-Switch slots. If you need more, you will have to disconnect and re-pair rather than simply switch slots.
- Check the connection method. The cited Apple Support page identifies Bluetooth for the named Magic Keyboard (USB-C). Do not assume another case uses Bluetooth, a physical connector or the same pairing process.
- Confirm what is in the box. The available specifications do not establish a universal stand, charging cable, battery type or tablet holder for the standalone models. A standalone keyboard does not itself provide an integrated tablet stand.
- Check availability and price for your region. Prices, layouts, bundles and current stock can change. Treat any promotional price or retailer bundle as temporary unless the seller states otherwise.
How to pair a Bluetooth keyboard
iPad or iPhone
- Open Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Put the keyboard into pairing mode. On a multi-device model, select an unused device slot first; use the product’s pairing control rather than repeatedly pressing the normal power key.
- Tap the keyboard name when it appears under Other Devices.
- Enter the pairing code on the physical keyboard if iPadOS or iOS displays one, then press Return.
- Open a text field and test letters, numbers, Return, Backspace and the modifier keys. If the layout is wrong, check the device’s Hardware Keyboard or keyboard-layout settings.
Android tablet
- Open Settings > Connected devices or Settings > Bluetooth, depending on the tablet manufacturer.
- Choose Pair new device, place the keyboard in pairing mode and select its name.
- Approve the pairing code if prompted, then test in a notes app or browser field.
- Review Physical keyboard settings if shortcut behavior or language mapping is incorrect.
Windows, macOS or ChromeOS
- Open the system Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Select Add device, Pair new device or the equivalent command, then choose the keyboard.
- Complete any on-screen code prompt using the physical keyboard.
- Use the operating system’s keyboard-language settings to select the matching layout.
For a second or third device, switch to another Easy-Switch or device button before pairing. Give each slot a few seconds to reconnect. Pairing a device to a new slot does not make it available on every other slot.

Writing in different locations
Choose Keys-To-Go 2 if your tablet, phone and computer span the operating systems listed by Logitech and you want one keyboard that can move among them. Its three-device limit is sufficient for a common three-device rotation, but it is not an unlimited profile system.
Study sessions with an iPad or Android tablet
Choose Pebble Keys 2 K380s when iPadOS, iOS and Android cover your devices and the long manufacturer battery estimate matters more than broad desktop-OS support. Keep the estimate qualified: “up to 36 months” is not a promise of three years under every workload.

Desk replacement with pointer control
Start with a case that includes a trackpad, such as the documented ESR Rebound option, after confirming the exact tablet SKU. A trackpad case is the closest of these formats to a small laptop, but it is also the most dependent on a precise physical match.
Drawing, reading and portrait use
Use a standalone keyboard and a separate stand. You can remove the keyboard when you need the tablet alone and change the viewing angle without fighting a case hinge.
Common problems and fixes
The keyboard does not appear in Bluetooth settings
- Charge or replace its batteries, then turn it off and on.
- Put it into the model’s actual pairing mode; a normal power press may only wake it.
- Move it away from other devices that may be trying to reconnect.
- On the tablet, remove an old entry for the keyboard and run Pair new device again.
It pairs but types on the wrong device
Switch back to the device slot used for that tablet. Multi-device keyboards remember several pairings, and pressing another slot intentionally moves the active connection.
Letters work but symbols are wrong
Set the tablet’s hardware or physical-keyboard layout to match the printed legends. Also check whether the keyboard was sold in a different regional layout.
A case will not close or the camera is blocked
Stop using it and recheck the exact generation and screen size. Do not force a case into place; a near match can still put pressure on buttons, connectors or the display.
The connection drops repeatedly
- Keep the keyboard within normal Bluetooth range and remove sources of radio interference.
- Replace weak batteries or recharge the keyboard if its design uses an internal battery.
- Forget the pairing on the tablet, restart both devices and pair again.
- Test the keyboard with a second compatible device. If it fails everywhere, the keyboard may need service; if it fails on only one tablet, investigate that tablet’s Bluetooth settings or operating-system update.
What this evidence can—and cannot—support
The documented specifications support two named standalone recommendations and several case categories, not a defensible ranking of nine distinct Bluetooth keyboards. Manufacturer pages establish the operating-system support, device-slot counts and the K380s battery estimate described above. The case information is narrower: Apple’s Bluetooth statement applies to the named Magic Keyboard (USB-C) page, while the ESR compatibility list comes from a Tom’s Guide roundup dated October 12, 2026 and should be checked against the current SKU.
That distinction matters because a longer list can look more useful while quietly mixing incompatible generations, regional layouts and unsupported battery or weight claims. Compare the exact tablet model, connection method and physical format first; only then compare key feel, portability or price shown for your region.
