There is no universally best “pro” sensitivity profile in BGMI. The right values depend on your phone or tablet, frame-rate option, finger layout, touch response, and whether you aim with the gyroscope. Use published numbers as a starting point, then adjust one control at a time in Training Ground until tracking, recoil control and close-range movement feel repeatable.

What BGMI sensitivity actually changes

BGMI separates sensitivity into controls that affect different moments of aiming. Understanding the separation is more useful than copying a complete code from another player. A setting that helps you turn quickly is not automatically the setting that helps you hold a 6x spray, because those actions use different controls and different physical movements.

Camera sensitivity

Camera sensitivity controls how quickly your view moves when you look around without firing. It affects free-look movement, turning while running and the speed at which a scope moves when you are not pressing the fire button. Higher values make a swipe cover more screen distance; lower values make small movements easier to control.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Camera is the first place to look when you cannot face an opponent quickly enough, when a short swipe carries you past a doorway, or when your scope moves too slowly before a shot. It should not be used as a universal fix for a reticle that wanders only during a burst.

ADS sensitivity

ADS (aim-down-sights) sensitivity applies while you are aiming and using touch controls. It influences how much the reticle moves when you drag your finger during a burst. Camera and ADS can therefore feel different: a fast camera turn does not require an equally fast firing sensitivity.

Use ADS to solve a touch-aim problem that appears after you press the fire or aim button. If your first shot is on target but your finger drag makes the reticle jump, ADS is more relevant than the general camera value. Scope-by-scope tuning is useful because a red dot and an 8x magnify different amounts of movement.

Gyroscope sensitivity

Gyroscope sensitivity converts the device’s physical tilt into aim movement. A high value responds to a small wrist movement, while a low value requires a larger tilt. Gyro can be used for general aiming, recoil correction or both, depending on your control style.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Gyro is not automatically better than touch control. It adds another input that must be calibrated to your grip, desk position and comfort. If your hands are tense or the device is resting unevenly, a high gyro value can make the reticle oscillate even when your finger controls are reasonable.

ADS gyroscope and firing behavior

BGMI’s official support documentation confirms that gyroscope sensitivity while firing can be set independently. That separate firing control matters because the amount of tilt that feels comfortable for scanning is often too fast for a sustained spray. Set general gyro and firing gyro as separate decisions instead of assuming one number should serve both.

Think of general gyro as the movement used to acquire or follow a target, and firing gyro as the movement used after recoil begins. A profile can therefore have moderate scanning movement and a more deliberate firing response without changing the camera values.

A reliable starting profile from a published guide

The following camera ranges come from the iTechGuides Team guide dated August 8, 2026. They are third-party recommendations, not an official BGMI standard, a measured benchmark or proof of settings used by current professional players. Select a value near the middle of each range first, then tune it for your device and layout.

Camera control Published starting range What to watch while tuning
TPP no scope 115–120 How quickly you can turn and track an opponent at close range in third-person view.
FPP no scope 100–112 Whether a short swipe lets you follow a strafing target without over-rotating.
Red dot / holographic 50–60 Reticle stability during hip-fire transitions and short sprays.
2x scope 33–38 Tracking at common mid-range fighting distances.
3x scope 25–30 Keeping a moving target centered while making small corrections.
4x scope 15–19 Controlled corrections during deliberate bursts.
6x scope 10–15 Preventing a small finger movement from causing a large reticle jump.
8x scope 8–12 Fine adjustment for distant targets; excessive speed is especially noticeable.

The same guide presents separate ADS and gyro recommendations, while BlueStacks publishes a different example profile, including its own camera, ADS and gyro values. The disagreement is useful evidence: published “pro” numbers are examples, not a consensus that every player should copy. No current professional player attribution establishes either profile as the best setup.

Do not average the two guides and call the result an official profile. Their different numbers demonstrate that device size, control placement and personal movement can lead to different starting points. Use one documented baseline, change one variable, and keep notes so you can tell which adjustment helped.

Compare the four control categories before changing anything

Category Primary question Typical test
Camera Can I turn and acquire the target at the required speed? Look between two fixed points, then track a moving target without firing.
ADS Does my touch drag stay controlled while aiming and firing? Hold a red-dot, 2x or 3x burst and observe reticle movement.
General gyro Does device tilt provide useful fine movement? Follow a target using small, repeatable wrist motions.
Firing gyro Can tilt help manage recoil without shaking the spray? Fire a complete magazine and make a smooth correction.

This comparison prevents category drift. For example, a poor 3x spray can result from ADS, firing gyro, frame instability or an overly long burst; raising TPP camera will not necessarily solve it. Identify the moment when the error begins, then adjust the control that governs that moment.

Check your device and control layout first

Sensitivity is a relationship between the game setting and the way your device responds. Record these conditions before changing numbers so you know what a result actually means.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Screen size and aspect ratio: A swipe distance that feels moderate on a tablet may be excessive on a smaller phone.
  • Touch and performance stability: Frame drops, heat-related throttling or an inconsistent touch surface can feel like incorrect sensitivity.
  • Finger layout: A two-thumb layout generally uses larger, slower swipes than a three- or four-finger claw layout. Do not copy a value simply because its author uses a different number of fingers.
  • Gyro preference: Decide whether gyro is off, always active, or used mainly while aiming and firing. Your baseline should match the mode you will actually play.
  • Frame-rate option: BGMI’s official 90 FPS guide says the 90 FPS option appears only on devices that support it. Treat frame rate as a device and client capability, not as a sensitivity prescription. Do not assume a particular model has the option without checking the current in-game menu.

Keep the physical conditions consistent while comparing values. Test with the same case, grip and seating position, and avoid judging a setting immediately after the device becomes hot. If the touch surface or frame delivery changes, first determine whether the input conditions changed before rebuilding your profile.

How to set and test sensitivity in BGMI

  1. Open the sensitivity controls. From the lobby, open Settings and select the Sensitivity section. Menu names and placement can change between client versions, so use the in-game Sensitivity label if your layout differs.
  2. Choose a baseline. Enter the middle of the published camera ranges above, or leave your current values in place and change only one category. Enable or disable gyro before testing so the comparison is meaningful.
  3. Write down the old values. A screenshot or short note gives you a reversible checkpoint. Without a record, several small changes can become impossible to untangle.
  4. Use Training Ground first. Practice a full turn, a 180-degree turn, red-dot tracking and short sprays at several distances. Training removes the randomness of an actual match and lets you repeat the same movement.
  5. Test camera movement without firing. Track a moving target with your crosshair, then turn between two fixed points. If you regularly pass the target, reduce that camera value; if you stop short, increase it.
  6. Test ADS separately. Aim at a fixed point and drag through a controlled burst. Change ADS only when the reticle movement during firing is the problem. Do not compensate for an ADS issue by changing every camera value.
  7. Test gyro in small increments. Tilt the device through the same target-tracking drill. If the reticle oscillates around the target, lower gyro; if you cannot correct quickly enough, raise it. Make small changes and repeat the drill.
  8. Set firing gyro independently. Use the separate while-firing gyro control for recoil corrections. Start below the value that feels comfortable for scanning if sprays become shaky, then raise it gradually until you can pull through recoil without an exaggerated wrist movement.
  9. Repeat the same drill after every change. A single successful swipe is not enough. Perform the same turn, tracking pass and burst again so you are comparing like with like.
  10. Play short real matches. After practice feels consistent, play several matches without changing anything. Note specific failures—overshooting a close target, losing a 3x spray or struggling with a 6x adjustment—rather than judging the entire profile as simply “good” or “bad.”
  11. Keep or revert deliberately. Save a screenshot or written record of the previous values. Keep a change only when the same problem improves repeatedly; otherwise restore the prior value and test a different control.

Build separate settings for close range and scoped fights

Close-range tracking

Close fights demand rapid horizontal movement and frequent direction changes. TPP no-scope and red-dot camera values are the first controls to examine when an opponent can circle you faster than you can follow. Increase them only enough to complete a turn without repeated swipes. A value that enables a fast turn but causes constant overshooting will make shotgun and SMG fights less reliable.

Mid-range sprays

Red-dot, holographic, 2x and 3x controls should let you follow a strafing target while making small recoil corrections. If your initial target acquisition is fine but your reticle drifts during a burst, inspect ADS or firing gyro rather than automatically raising camera sensitivity.

Long-range precision

4x, 6x and 8x scopes magnify every movement. Lower values are often easier to control for distant taps, but a setting that is too slow can prevent you from correcting for a moving target. Test each scope at the distance where you normally use it; do not tune an 8x solely by judging a red-dot drill.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Do not force one scope to feel identical to another. The useful goal is predictable movement at the distance and weapon pattern where that scope is normally used. A slower 8x can be comfortable for a stationary tap but frustrating against a moving target, so judge both precision and correction speed.

Gyro-on and gyro-off approaches

Approach Strength to seek Risk to watch
Gyro off Consistent finger swipes and a simple input routine. Touch controls must handle all fine recoil and tracking work.
Gyro always active Small physical corrections are available during aiming. Unwanted wrist movement can move the reticle when you are scanning.
Gyro mainly while aiming or firing Touch handles broad turns while tilt helps with scoped control or recoil. Switching behavior must feel predictable in both states.

Playing without gyro

With gyro disabled, touch camera and ADS controls perform all aiming and recoil work. This can be consistent if your finger placement and swipe habits are stable. Spend most of your tuning time on ADS for the scopes you use in sprays, then verify that camera sensitivity still allows fast turns.

Using gyro for fine control

Gyro can handle small corrections while your finger controls larger movements. Keep the device position natural and avoid gripping so tightly that your wrist cannot move. If your aim shakes while standing still, lower the relevant gyro value before changing camera or ADS.

Using gyro while firing

A separate firing value is useful when you want moderate movement for scanning but stronger control during recoil. Start with a conservative setting and practise a full magazine on a wall or target. The goal is a smooth correction, not a dramatic downward tilt.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

How to diagnose an uncomfortable setup

Symptom Likely control to adjust Adjustment direction
You pass a target when turning or tracking. Relevant camera or gyro value. Lower it slightly, then repeat the same drill.
You stop short of a target after a swipe. Relevant camera or gyro value. Raise it slightly or use a longer swipe; change one variable first.
Initial aim is good, but the reticle wanders during a spray. ADS or firing gyro. Lower the unstable control and retest a complete burst.
You cannot pull down recoil quickly enough. ADS or firing gyro, depending on whether you use touch or tilt. Raise that control in small steps; do not assume every scope needs the same change.
Only high-magnification scopes feel shaky. 4x, 6x or 8x control. Lower the affected scope value rather than slowing all camera settings.
A change feels different from one match to the next. Device performance, frame rate or touch consistency. Check heat, frame-rate stability and the current client option before retuning sensitivity.

Common mistakes when copying a “pro” setup

  • Copying a complete profile without matching the layout: A claw player and a two-thumb player do not make the same swipe lengths or use the same fire-button position.
  • Changing all categories at once: If camera, ADS and gyro all move together, you cannot identify which change caused an improvement or a new problem.
  • Testing only one scope: A value that feels comfortable on a red dot may be too fast for an 8x, while a long-range value may be too slow for a close fight.
  • Judging after one bad match: A missed fight can come from positioning, timing or device performance rather than sensitivity. Look for a repeated movement error.
  • Expecting a zero-recoil result: No number removes recoil. A profile can make correction more manageable, but weapon, attachment, distance and burst control still matter.
  • Assuming a 90 FPS option is universal: The option appears only on supported devices. Check your own client instead of copying another player’s graphics menu.

Why “zero recoil” sensitivity claims are misleading

Sensitivity changes can make recoil movement easier to manage, but they do not remove the weapon’s recoil pattern. The available official support material does not promise a setting that produces zero recoil. Your result still depends on weapon choice, attachment, distance, burst length, stance, frame consistency and the timing of your finger or wrist movement. Treat “zero recoil” as promotional language, not as an expected outcome of entering a number.

Do you need gaming accessories?

A gaming phone or tablet, finger sleeves, a phone cooler or mobile trigger attachment may change comfort or grip, but official BGMI material does not establish any of them as necessary for a sensitivity setup. The task here is to configure camera, ADS and gyro controls and test them consistently. Do not buy an accessory expecting it to create a universal pro profile or remove recoil. If you change the device, grip or button position, treat that change as a new testing condition.

How frame rate affects your testing

A higher, stable frame rate can make input appear more immediate, while an unsupported or unstable option cannot be solved with sensitivity values. BGMI states that 90 FPS is shown only when the device supports it. Check the graphics and frame-rate menu on your own installation, and keep the same option during a comparison. If the client changes available options after an update, retest before deciding that your sensitivity suddenly became wrong.

When to change a profile after an update or layout change

  • Retest after changing from two fingers to a claw layout, moving the fire button or resizing a control.
  • Retest after switching between a phone and tablet, even if both use the same account.
  • Retest after a major client update if labels, gyro behavior or available frame-rate options change.
  • Do not alter several categories immediately after one bad match. Identify whether the failure was camera movement, firing control, device performance or decision-making.

A practical profile-building checklist

  • Choose whether gyro is off, always on or primarily used while firing.
  • Enter a documented baseline, such as the iTechGuides camera ranges, without treating it as an official pro standard.
  • Test no-scope and red-dot controls for close fights first.
  • Test 2x and 3x during repeatable mid-range tracking.
  • Test 4x, 6x and 8x independently for precision.
  • Adjust ADS only for aiming and firing behavior.
  • Adjust general gyro and firing gyro separately.
  • Keep the frame-rate option and device conditions consistent.
  • Record every change and keep only improvements that recur across practice and matches.

Bottom line: the best “pro” setup is the one you can repeat

Use published values as a map, not a verdict. The iTechGuides camera ranges provide a concrete starting point, while the different BlueStacks profile shows why no universal professional configuration is established. Set camera, ADS, gyro and firing gyro according to the movement you are correcting, test in Training Ground, and make small reversible changes. A stable layout, supported frame-rate option and repeatable practice matter more than copying a headline number.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best sensitivity for BGMI?

There is no universal best profile. Start with a documented example such as the iTechGuides camera ranges, then tune camera, ADS, gyro and firing gyro for your device, layout and preferred gyro mode.

Should I copy a professional player’s sensitivity code?

Use any published profile only as a starting point. Published guides differ, and no current professional-player attribution establishes one profile as the universal standard.

What is the difference between camera and ADS sensitivity?

Camera controls view and scope movement when you are not firing. ADS controls touch movement while aiming and firing, so a fast camera value does not require an equally fast ADS value.

Can gyroscope sensitivity while firing be separate?

Yes. BGMI’s official support documentation says firing gyroscope sensitivity can be set independently, allowing a different response for recoil control than for general scanning.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Should I use gyro or play without it?

Both approaches can work. Gyro adds tilt-based fine control, while gyro-off play relies entirely on touch. Choose the mode you will use in matches and test it consistently before changing values.

How do I stop overshooting close-range targets?

Lower the relevant no-scope, red-dot or gyro value slightly and repeat the same tracking drill. Change one control first rather than slowing every category.

Why does my 3x spray shake even when initial aim is good?

Inspect 3x ADS or firing gyro, and check frame-rate and touch consistency. Lower the unstable control in small steps and retest a complete burst.

Does 90 FPS require different sensitivity?

90 FPS is available only on supported devices. It is a device and client capability, not a prescribed sensitivity value. Check the current in-game option and keep it consistent while comparing settings.

What’s actually slowing this PC down?

Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Do I need a gaming phone, cooler or trigger attachment?

No official BGMI material establishes those products as necessary for sensitivity setup. They may change comfort or grip, but they do not provide a universal profile or guarantee recoil removal.

How often should I change my sensitivity?

Change it after a layout, device or relevant client update, or when the same movement problem repeats. Make small, recorded changes and keep a setting only when the improvement recurs in practice and matches.

The Bottom Line

Start with documented example values, then tune each BGMI category to one specific movement problem. Test under consistent device and frame-rate conditions, keep gyro firing sensitivity separate when needed, and reject any promise of universal or zero-recoil settings.
