The best BGMI setup is the fastest frame-rate option your device actually supports and can hold steadily, not necessarily the most detailed graphics preset. If 90 FPS appears at Settings > Graphics & Audio > Smooth, select it, then set your phone or tablet to a compatible high-refresh mode. For aim, treat camera, ADS and gyro sensitivity as separate controls. The figures in the tables below are practical starting points from a January 2025 Gadgets 360 guide—not an official universal preset—so adjust them in small steps with the weapons and scopes you use.
This guide explains how to enable 90 FPS, what to do when the option is missing, which sensitivity values to try with or without gyro, and how to tune the controls without chasing settings that your hardware cannot deliver.
What “best” means in BGMI
A smooth match depends on two separate outcomes: consistent frame delivery and controllable aim. A high number that appears briefly but falls during a fight is less useful than a lower option that remains stable. Likewise, a sensitivity value that feels quick to one player can make another player overshoot every target.
- Frame rate: choose the highest option BGMI exposes for your device and that remains usable during play.
- Graphics detail: prefer the visual preset that keeps frame delivery consistent rather than sacrificing responsiveness for extra effects.
- Input: tune camera, ADS and gyro controls independently because each changes a different part of aiming.
- Practice: change one category at a time and test it with your usual weapons, scopes and grip.
There is no source-supported universal “best” FPS, graphics quality or sensitivity number for every BGMI player and phone. The settings below are therefore a starting configuration and a method for finding your own stable setup.

How to enable 90 FPS in BGMI
BGMI makes 90 FPS conditional on device eligibility. Its support guidance states: “You can only enable 90 FPS if ‘90 FPS selection button’ is available under Graphic Settings.” If that selector is absent, the game is not offering 90 FPS to that device at that time; changing sensitivity cannot create it.
- Open BGMI and enter Settings.
- Open Graphics & Audio.
- Choose the Smooth graphics style.
- In the frame-rate selector, choose 90 FPS if the button is displayed.
- Apply the setting, then check your device’s display refresh-rate setting before starting a match.
The in-game choice and the system refresh-rate choice are separate. BGMI’s 90 FPS guide gives manufacturer examples, but menu labels vary with model and software version. Use the current equivalent setting on your device:
| Device family example | System setting BGMI’s guide points to |
|---|---|
| Samsung phones | Enable Adaptive or Motion Smoothness. |
| Some Xiaomi, OnePlus and iQOO models | Select a 120 Hz display mode where available. |
| Some Asus and Vivo models | Select a refresh-rate option above 90 Hz where offered. |
| Pixel Pro models | Enable Smooth Display. |
| iPhone and iPad | Disable Limit Frame Rate on models that expose that control. |
These are examples, not a complete compatibility list. A high-refresh display alone does not guarantee that BGMI will show the 90 FPS selector, and the exact menu can change after a system update.

If 90 FPS is missing
Return to Settings > Graphics & Audio and confirm that you selected Smooth. If the 90 FPS button still does not appear, BGMI’s stated condition has not been met: the device is not currently supported for that option, or the game is not exposing it in the present software configuration. Do not rely on third-party “FPS unlock” claims as a substitute for official eligibility.
If 90 FPS is selected but does not apply
Check the system refresh-rate mode, reopen the game and verify the in-game selection. If both the device and game settings appear correct and 90 FPS still does not take effect, BGMI directs players to its in-game support channel. The official guide does not promise that every high-refresh panel will receive the same option.

Choosing a graphics and frame-rate combination
Use a simple stability-first decision:
- 90 FPS appears and remains stable: use Smooth + 90 FPS if the reduced-detail presentation is acceptable to you.
- 90 FPS appears but the device cannot sustain it: test a lower available frame-rate option and keep the one that remains consistent in fights.
- 90 FPS does not appear: choose the highest frame-rate option that BGMI offers on your device; no graphics toggle can guarantee an unsupported option.
- You prefer more visual detail: use the most detailed preset that does not produce distracting frame drops, then compare it with a smoother preset in the same practice routine.
The available guidance does not establish a measured graphics-quality-versus-FPS benchmark across phones, so claims such as a specific percentage performance gain or a universal optimal preset would be misleading. Your device temperature, software version, battery state and background activity can all affect sustained performance, but the official material does not provide a common laboratory result for those variables.
What to check before judging smoothness
- Play several minutes, including a busy fight, instead of judging from the lobby.
- Compare the same frame-rate option after the device has warmed up; a setting that feels smooth for one minute may not remain so.
- Use one graphics configuration while testing so that a change in frame rate is not confused with a change in visual detail.
- Favor consistent response over a higher label that your device exposes only intermittently.
Understand the three BGMI sensitivity controls
Before entering numbers, identify which control is producing the movement you want to change.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Camera sensitivity
Camera sensitivity controls how quickly your view moves when you look around. It affects free-look and the movement of your view through different scope levels before you fire. A value that is too high can make tracking feel twitchy; a value that is too low can leave the view behind a moving target.
ADS sensitivity
ADS (aim-down-sights) sensitivity controls touch response while you are aiming down a sight and firing or preparing to fire. It is separate from camera sensitivity, so changing one does not automatically correct the other.
Gyroscope sensitivity
Gyro sensitivity translates tilting or rotating the device into in-game movement. BGMI’s official gyro help confirms that gyro sensitivity can be adjusted independently while firing. It does not publish a numeric universal preset. Use gyro only if your grip and control method make small device movements comfortable and repeatable.

Non-gyro sensitivity starting points
The following values come from the Gadgets 360 guide updated 24 January 2025. They are publisher recommendations, not KRAFTON settings or results from a controlled population study. Enter them as a baseline, then tune each scope.
| Scope or view | Camera sensitivity | ADS sensitivity |
|---|---|---|
| TPP no scope | 145% | 100% |
| FPP no scope | 130% | 90% |
| Red dot / holographic | 75% | 65% |
| 2x | 55% | 40% |
| 3x / Win94 | 40% | 35% |
| 4x / VSS | 30% | 30% |
| 6x | 10% | 14% |
| 8x | 11% | 12% |
These values are deliberately scope-specific. A red-dot setting that feels controllable at close range does not predict how a 6x or 8x sight will feel. If you mostly use one scope, spend most of your tuning time on that row rather than changing every value after one uncomfortable test.
Gyroscope sensitivity starting points
Gyro users need two kinds of values: the regular gyro response and the ADS gyro response while firing. The figures below are broad starting points from the same January 2025 guide. They should be tested gradually; the ranges are not a promise of better recoil control.
Always-on gyro values
| Scope or view | Gyro sensitivity |
|---|---|
| TPP and FPP no scope | 220% |
| Red dot / holographic | 180% |
| 2x | 150% |
| 3x | 120% |
| 4x | 90% |
| 6x | 50% |
| 8x | 25% |
ADS gyro ranges
| Scope or view | Suggested ADS gyro range |
|---|---|
| No scope, red dot and 2x | 300–400% |
| 3x | 240–300% |
| 4x | 210–280% |
| 6x | 80–120% |
| 8x | 40–100% |
The guide lists these ADS gyro ranges for both scope-on and the corresponding firing modes. Start near the middle of a range if you are unsure, then move in small increments. High percentages can react strongly to tiny wrist movements, especially on a larger device or with a different grip.
A repeatable method for tuning aim
- Choose one mode. Decide whether you are testing non-gyro, always-on gyro or a scope-on gyro mode. Do not change modes between shots.
- Pick one scope. Start with the red dot or the scope you use most often. Leave the other rows unchanged.
- Use familiar weapons. Test tracking a moving target and controlling recoil with the weapons you actually carry. A setting can feel good with one recoil pattern and poor with another.
- Change only one category. Adjust camera, ADS or gyro—not two at once—so you can identify what helped.
- Read the error. If your crosshair repeatedly passes the target, lower the relevant sensitivity. If it stops behind the target, raise it gradually.
- Repeat at the next scope. Higher magnification usually needs its own adjustment; do not assume a red-dot value transfers directly to 6x or 8x.
- Save a stable baseline. Once a value works, record it before experimenting so you can return to it.
Revisit the process after changing phone or tablet, screen size, grip, HUD layout or gyro mode. Those physical changes alter how far your finger or wrist moves for the same on-screen response.

Practical setups by player type
Players who do not use gyro
Start with the non-gyro camera and ADS tables. Keep camera sensitivity high enough to turn and track, while using the ADS column to control fine movement during fire. If close-range tracking feels jerky, lower only the red-dot ADS value first; if turning before aiming feels slow, adjust the relevant camera row instead.
Players moving to gyro
Begin with a lower point inside each published gyro range if tilting is unfamiliar. Practice small corrections before attempting full recoil control. Keep touch camera and ADS values unchanged during the first gyro session so that you learn which movement comes from the device and which comes from your thumb.
Players switching between always-on and scope-on gyro
Use separate test sessions. Always-on gyro changes your view whenever you tilt the device, while scope-on use limits that behavior to aiming situations. A value that feels manageable in one mode can be too reactive in the other, so do not copy a complete profile without testing.

“I cannot find 90 FPS.”
Confirm Smooth is selected and look for the 90 FPS button under Graphics & Audio. If it is not displayed, the device is not currently being offered the option. Check the manufacturer’s refresh-rate menu, but do not expect a system setting to add an in-game selector that BGMI does not show.
“90 FPS is selected, but gameplay still feels uneven.”
Verify the device is using its high-refresh mode and test the game after it has been running long enough to reproduce the problem. If the option remains ineffective with both settings correct, use BGMI’s in-game support route. The official guide does not provide a universal fix or a guaranteed frame-rate result for every model.

“My aim swings past targets.”
Lower the sensitivity for the specific scope and input that overshoots. For example, overshooting only while firing through a red dot points to red-dot ADS or ADS gyro, not necessarily to TPP camera sensitivity. Make one small change and retest.
“My aim feels slow.”
Raise the relevant scope value incrementally. If the view is slow before firing, adjust camera sensitivity; if the delay appears only while aiming and firing, adjust ADS; if tilting the device feels behind the target, adjust gyro.
“Gyro makes my crosshair shake.”
Reduce the affected gyro row, check that your grip is stable and test on the same surface and posture you use in matches. If you cannot make repeatable small movements, non-gyro controls may be a better fit; gyro is an option, not a requirement.

BGMI’s support material establishes the eligibility rule and setup path for 90 FPS, plus the need to configure the device’s refresh rate. Its gyro support confirms independent adjustment while firing but supplies no numeric recommendation. The sensitivity numbers here come from one dated third-party guide and are best treated as configurable examples. No reviewed source supplies a controlled benchmark, population statistic or universal ranking proving that one graphics preset or sensitivity profile improves every player’s performance.
That distinction matters when comparing settings videos and social-media presets. A creator’s percentages may reflect a different device, screen size, frame rate, grip, HUD and playstyle. Copy the structure of a profile, then validate each value in your own practice routine.
Quick Recap
Quick checklist before a match
- In Settings > Graphics & Audio, select Smooth and choose 90 FPS only if the button is available.
- Set the device display to its appropriate high-refresh mode.
- Choose camera, ADS and gyro values separately rather than treating “sensitivity” as one slider.
- Start from the tables, then test one scope and one category at a time.
- Lower values that overshoot and raise values that lag.
- Prefer the highest frame-rate option that stays consistent on your device.
- Re-test after changing hardware, display size, grip, HUD or gyro mode.
