If you need a phone with a large battery now, the best-supported option in this shortlist is the POCO X8 Pro Max, which lists an 8,500mAh typical battery and 100W charging. The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is not confirmed by the official sources available here: reports of a battery above 10,000mAh are leaks, not specifications. Capacity alone also cannot establish which phone lasts longest in real use.
What is known about the Redmi Turbo 6 Max?
As of October 2026, the reviewed sources do not establish official Redmi Turbo 6 Max specifications or launch status. Gizmochina discussed the possibility of a 12,000mAh battery as speculation in its April 28, 2026 report; Notebookcheck reported a leak pointing to a battery above 10,000mAh on October 8, 2026. Neither report is an official product announcement.
That means the Turbo 6 Max cannot yet be compared fairly against released phones using confirmed specifications. Treat any capacity, display, or availability details attributed to it as unverified unless Redmi publishes an official product page for the relevant market.

Which alternatives have the largest documented batteries?
Among the options here, Xiaomi’s September 2026 press release gives the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max the highest stated capacity: 9,210mAh. POCO’s official product page lists the X8 Pro Max at 8,500mAh typical. These are manufacturer-published figures, not results from a shared independent runtime test.

Choose the POCO X8 Pro Max for a well-documented high-capacity option
Its listed 8,500mAh typical battery and 100W charging make it the clearest supported main pick if you want a high stated capacity with manufacturer-published specifications. POCO’s simulated two-day-use description is not a promise of two days for every buyer, and it is not a comparative test against the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max.
Consider the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max if capacity is your leading filter
Xiaomi reports 9,210mAh and up to three days of use. The “up to” duration is a vendor claim, not an independently verified result; the press release does not give a common test method that would make its endurance figure directly comparable with POCO’s lab or simulated-use claims.

Look at the POCO X8 Pro for a less battery-maximal option
At 6,500mAh typical with 100W charging, it has a smaller listed battery than the X8 Pro Max. POCO’s published usage durations are internal-lab figures, so use them as manufacturer information rather than a forecast of your personal screen time.
Keep the REDMI 15 5G on a broader shortlist
Xiaomi highlights silicon-carbon battery technology and internal claims about endurance and cycle retention, including at least 80% battery capacity after 1,600 full charging cycles. That retention figure is a Xiaomi Global internal-lab claim from 2026; it is not evidence that the phone will outlast the other candidates between charges.

Why a bigger mAh figure does not prove longer battery life
Milliamp-hours describe battery capacity, not how many hours a phone will last in a particular person’s hands. Runtime also depends on the display, chipset, mobile signal, software, settings, and workload. The sources cited here do not provide an independent, comparable battery test across these models, so they cannot support a definitive answer to “Which phone has the longest battery life?”
Use manufacturer capacity figures to screen candidates, then look for a credible test using the same workload and conditions across the exact models and regional variants you are considering. Keep claims such as “two days” or “up to three days” tied to their publisher and stated methodology rather than treating them as a universal runtime ranking.
