If the Razer Basilisk V4 Pro is outside your budget or its shape is not an obvious fit, compare the lower-priced Basilisk V3 models and Logitech G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED before choosing. Razer announced the V4 Pro on October 8, 2026, describing it as a 94 g ergonomic gaming mouse with 12 customizable controls and up to 140 hours of battery life. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results. The available product information supports a specification-based shortlist, but not a tested winner for any particular grip.
Quick comparison: which alternative should you consider?
| Mouse | Why consider it | Price information | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Razer Basilisk V3 35K | Same-family option if you want to compare a Basilisk model at a lower displayed price. | Razer’s U.S. listing displayed $79.99 when observed on October 9, 2026; the price can change. | Check the current listing and compare its features with the V4 Pro. |
| Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed | Same-family option with wireless operation in its name, for shoppers comparing a lower-priced Basilisk listing. | Razer’s U.S. listing displayed $69.99 when observed on October 9, 2026; the price can change. | Confirm current price and feature differences; the listing price does not make it equivalent to the V4 Pro. |
| Logitech G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED | Cross-brand comparison with wireless operation and a broad set of stated controls and features. | Check Logitech’s current regional price. | Compare its shape, controls, battery-life conditions and price with the Basilisk options. |
Razer’s U.S. listing also displayed the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K at $159.99–$169.99 on October 9, 2026. It is another family comparison point, but not the budget-tier pick in this shortlist. Prices are displayed listing values, not guaranteed checkout prices; verify the current price in your region.
What the Basilisk V4 Pro offers as a baseline
Razer’s October 8, 2026 announcement describes the Basilisk V4 Pro as an ergonomic gaming mouse weighing 94 g, with 12 customizable controls and up to 140 hours of battery life. Treat the battery figure as Razer’s stated maximum, not a measured result or a promise that applies to every setup. The announcement passage used here does not establish the V4 Pro’s price, so compare current regional listings rather than assuming a launch price.
Those specifications are useful reference points, but they do not settle whether the V4 Pro or an alternative will feel right. Shape, weight and control placement matter alongside features, particularly when switching from a mouse you already know.

Lower-priced options in the Basilisk family
Razer Basilisk V3 35K
Consider the Basilisk V3 35K if you want to stay within the Basilisk family while looking below the V4 Pro’s position in the lineup. Razer’s U.S. product listing showed $79.99 on October 9, 2026. That is a dated displayed price, not a guaranteed offer. Check the live listing and the model’s current feature details before deciding how much you are giving up relative to the V4 Pro.
Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed
The Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed is another same-family option to investigate if a lower listed price and wireless operation are priorities. Razer’s U.S. listing showed $69.99 on October 9, 2026. The price can change, and a lower listing price alone does not establish that the V3 X has the V4 Pro’s controls, battery life or other features. Compare the current specifications before treating the two as substitutes.

Cross-brand alternative: Logitech G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED
The Logitech G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED is a useful cross-brand comparison if you want to weigh a different mouse against the Basilisk family. Logitech lists LIGHTSPEED wireless, LIGHTSYNC RGB, LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches and a HERO 25K optical sensor. Logitech also says the DPI-shift button can be configured for grip and style. These are manufacturer-listed features, not evidence that the mouse outperforms the V4 Pro or fits every hand.
Logitech states up to 130 hours of battery life with RGB off, or 37 hours with RGB always on. Compare those figures carefully with Razer’s up-to-140-hour V4 Pro claim: the conditions differ, and neither figure here is an independent, apples-to-apples battery test.

Choosing by grip and hand fit
Grip style is a useful way to narrow your choices, not a guarantee of compatibility. Logitech’s guidance treats shape and grip as selection considerations, and RTINGS’ comparison identifies shape, weight, hand size and controls as relevant comparison topics. Neither establishes that a particular model will suit every palm, claw or fingertip grip. If fit is uncertain, compare the manufacturers’ physical dimensions and check the seller’s purchase and return terms before ordering.
If you prefer a familiar shape
Start by comparing the Basilisk V3 models with the V4 Pro, since they remain in the same product family. Check dimensions and control layout rather than assuming that family resemblance means identical hand feel.

If you are comparing a different shape or control layout
Put the G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED alongside the Basilisk models and assess its dimensions, weight and button placement against your current mouse. Logitech’s configurable DPI-shift button is a feature to consider if you want to adjust that control for your grip or style, but it is not a universal fit solution.
If you are shopping by hand size
Use published dimensions as a screening tool and compare them with a mouse that already feels comfortable. The available product information does not establish a hand-size threshold or a tested grip-style ranking for these models.

How to compare before buying
- Set a price ceiling. Treat the October 9, 2026 Razer U.S. listing figures as reference points only, then check current regional prices and checkout totals.
- Compare physical dimensions and weight. Use current manufacturer specifications and your existing mouse as a reference; do not infer comfort from the ergonomic label alone.
- Check controls and connectivity. Decide which buttons and wireless features you need, then compare the exact model specifications rather than relying on product-family names.
- Read battery-life conditions. Keep lighting settings attached to the figures: Logitech specifies 130 hours with RGB off and 37 hours with RGB always on, while Razer describes up to 140 hours for the V4 Pro.
- Review purchase and return terms. If you cannot assess the shape in person, a return option can reduce the risk of buying a mouse that does not suit your hand.
Which one should you shortlist?
- For a lower displayed price within the Basilisk family: compare the Basilisk V3 35K and Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed, and verify their current prices and features.
- For a cross-brand wireless comparison: consider the Logitech G502 X Plus LIGHTSPEED and weigh its stated features and battery conditions against your priorities.
- For grip or hand-fit decisions: compare shape, dimensions, weight and control placement; the available specifications do not support declaring a universal best fit.
