For most buyers, the Infinix Note Edge is the clearest alternative to the HOT 70 Pro 5G if you care more about an AMOLED screen and selfies than a tiny benchmark advantage. The HOT 70 Pro remains the better-documented choice for a 6,000mAh battery, 45W charging, NFC, stereo speakers, IP68 protection and stated long-term updates. The other phones in this shortlist make sense only for specific priorities, and their live prices and stock must be checked before ordering.
This guide is for the India market and uses specifications, prices and review findings reported in 2026. Retail listings can change by seller, storage variant and promotion.

The HOT 70 Pro 5G was announced in July 2026, with India launch coverage dated September 4, 2026. Smartprix reports a 6.76-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G, a 50MP Sony IMX882 rear camera, an 8MP front camera, a 6,000mAh battery, 45W charging, reverse charging up to 10W, stereo speakers, NFC and IP68 protection. The reported configurations are 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. See the Smartprix India launch report and the July 16, 2026 announcement for the published specifications.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Those features make the HOT 70 Pro a sensible baseline for everyday work: calls, messaging, maps, video streaming, social apps and casual photography. A high refresh rate can make supported animations and scrolling look smoother, while FHD+ resolution keeps text and images sharper than a lower-resolution panel. Neither characteristic guarantees that every app will run at the maximum refresh rate.
In its review, 91mobiles describes the display as sharp and the battery and processor as broadly reliable for ordinary use. It also observed occasional stutters when two or three activities were running concurrently, and found that the cameras could produce better detail and colour accuracy. The same review reports three major operating-system upgrades and five years of security updates. Treat that policy as a reported commitment to verify for your region and specific variant, rather than as a transferable warranty promise. Read the 91mobiles HOT 70 Pro review.
Best display-focused alternative: Infinix Note Edge
Why it is the closest match
The Note Edge is the most straightforward alternative when your main complaint about the HOT 70 Pro is its LCD rather than its overall feature set. 91mobiles’ comparison lists an LTPS AMOLED display for the Note Edge versus the HOT 70 Pro’s LTPS LCD, plus a 13MP front camera instead of 8MP. AMOLED can provide deeper-looking blacks and stronger perceived contrast, which is especially noticeable in dark-mode interfaces and video. The panel type alone does not establish brightness, calibration or outdoor readability, so inspect the exact model listing and independent reviews if those are decisive.
The listed Geekbench multi-core result is 2,852 for the Note Edge and 2,863 for the HOT 70 Pro. That 11-point gap is small and should not be treated as a meaningful prediction of app-loading speed. Storage type, software tuning, thermal behaviour, memory management and the number of apps open at once affect daily responsiveness.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)
- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)
- Quick Data Transfers: Accelerate your productivity with rapid data transfers using a high-speed 5Gbps USB 3.0 port and two 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports.
- 4K HDMI Display: Enhance your visual experience with a hub capable of delivering 4K resolution at 30Hz in both mirror and extend modes. Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Who should choose it
- Choose the Note Edge if you spend much of the day reading, watching video or using dark-mode apps and want AMOLED.
- Choose it if a higher-resolution front camera is useful for video calls or selfies, while remembering that megapixels do not prove better image processing.
- Consider it when its live price is close to the HOT 70 Pro and the seller offers the storage and warranty you want.
What the cited comparison does not prove
The available comparison does not establish a like-for-like battery-runtime test, charging-speed test, rear-camera quality test, IP rating, NFC support or software-update policy for the Note Edge. Do not assume that the Note Edge inherits the HOT 70 Pro’s 6,000mAh battery, 45W charging, reverse charging or IP68 rating. Verify each item in the current specification sheet before buying.
Other shortlist candidates, and their limits
POCO M8 Power 5G: a screen-first option on paper
91mobiles lists the POCO M8 Power 5G with an AMOLED panel and higher listed brightness than the HOT 70 Pro, at a price close to the Infinix phone. Its listed multi-core result is lower than the HOT 70 Pro’s. This makes it a candidate for someone who values panel technology and stated brightness more than benchmark position.
The cited comparison does not give enough information to declare it the better everyday phone. Battery capacity, charging, camera performance, software-support length, water resistance, NFC and speaker configuration are not established there. Check those points, along with the exact brightness measurement and whether the figure is a peak or typical value, before treating the POCO as a recommendation.

The comparison page lists the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion at a higher price than the HOT 70 Pro, with a higher multi-core result and a higher-resolution front camera. That combination may appeal to buyers who are willing to spend more for the listed performance tier or selfie hardware.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
A higher synthetic score does not guarantee smoother multitasking, and front-camera resolution does not establish better dynamic range, focus or skin-tone processing. The available figures also do not establish the Edge 70 Fusion’s battery, charging, display type, update policy or IP rating relative to the HOT 70 Pro. Treat it as a lead for further checking, not a universal upgrade.
Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G: the expensive, higher-specification lead
91mobiles lists the Note 60 Pro 5G with more RAM and a higher multi-core result than the HOT 70 Pro, but at a substantially higher listed price. More RAM can be useful if you frequently switch between demanding apps, although memory capacity alone cannot predict how aggressively a phone keeps apps in memory.
The cited material does not provide a complete camera, battery, charging, display or software comparison. Choose it only after confirming that the additional cost buys features you will actually use, rather than assuming the model is automatically better in every daily task.

Calls, messaging and navigation
All four alternatives are presented as 5G smartphones, but the available evidence does not provide radio-band or reception testing for each model. For dependable navigation and messaging, verify that the India variant supports your carrier’s 5G and 4G bands, dual-SIM arrangement and VoLTE requirements. The HOT 70 Pro’s reported NFC can matter for compatible tap-to-pay or pairing workflows; do not infer NFC availability on the other models without checking their specifications.

Multitasking
The HOT 70 Pro review found occasional stutters with two or three concurrent activities despite calling its processor broadly reliable for normal use. If your routine involves a map, music, browser and messaging app at the same time, test the exact RAM variant and return policy rather than relying on the 2,852-versus-2,863 benchmark figures. The Note 60 Pro 5G is the only candidate in the cited comparison explicitly described as having higher RAM and a higher multi-core result, but the practical gain remains unverified.
Streaming, reading and gaming
The HOT 70 Pro’s reported FHD+ resolution and up-to-144Hz refresh rate suit scrolling and video consumption. The Note Edge and POCO M8 Power 5G are the display-led candidates because the comparison lists AMOLED panels for them. Refresh rate, brightness, touch response, speakers and sustained thermal performance are separate properties; ask the seller or manufacturer for each specification if gaming or outdoor viewing is central to your decision.
Photography and video calls
The HOT 70 Pro’s reported rear setup uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, while its front camera is listed at 8MP. The review’s criticism concerns detail and colour accuracy, not a measured failure in every lighting condition. The Note Edge and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion have higher listed front-camera resolutions in the comparison, but resolution is only one part of image quality. Look for sample photos from the exact software version if camera performance is your deciding factor.
Battery and charging
The HOT 70 Pro has the clearest documented battery hardware in this group: 6,000mAh and 45W charging, with reverse charging up to 10W reported by Smartprix. That does not translate directly into a guaranteed number of hours, because screen brightness, network signal, refresh rate and app use determine endurance. The available material does not provide a comparable independent battery test for the Note Edge, POCO M8 Power 5G, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion or Note 60 Pro 5G.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Durability and connectivity
IP68, stereo speakers and NFC are specifically reported for the HOT 70 Pro. An IP rating applies under the conditions defined for that rating and does not make a phone immune to every liquid, impact or repair-related seal failure. Confirm whether any alternative has an equivalent rating and whether it remains covered after service or screen replacement.

Published HOT 70 Pro prices vary by page and seller. Infinix India’s HOT-series collection displayed a starting price of ₹22,999, while 91mobiles showed ₹23,999 for a 6GB/128GB Amazon listing and ₹24,999 on Flipkart; its review also described a ₹24,999 starting retail price. These are live-commerce references captured at different times, not a permanent recommended price. See the Infinix India HOT-series collection and 91mobiles specifications and price page.
Before checkout, compare the exact RAM/storage configuration, seller name, return window, bank-card conditions, exchange terms, delivery region and warranty. A lower headline price may apply only to a coupon, a specific seller or a limited-time offer. The same checks apply to the Note Edge, POCO M8 Power 5G, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion and Note 60 Pro 5G listings.

Software support: how to evaluate the promise
91mobiles reports three major OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the HOT 70 Pro. Confirm the start date used for that count, the definition of a “major” upgrade, the security-patch frequency and whether the policy covers both India configurations. Update promises can be limited by region, carrier certification or variant.
No equivalent support duration is established in the cited material for the four alternatives. If you keep a phone for several years, ask each manufacturer for a written policy covering the exact model number before choosing a phone on benchmark or display advantages alone.
A practical buying procedure
- Set your non-negotiables. Decide whether AMOLED, battery capacity, NFC, IP protection, selfie resolution, maximum budget or update length matters most.
- Pick the matching shortlist. Start with the Note Edge for AMOLED and selfies, POCO M8 Power 5G for the listed AMOLED-plus-brightness combination, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion for the higher listed performance and front-camera specification, or Note 60 Pro 5G for higher listed RAM and multi-core performance.
- Verify the exact variant. Match RAM, storage, colour, model number and India warranty. Do not assume that a review unit or comparison entry represents every seller’s configuration.
- Check omitted specifications. Confirm battery size, charging standard, charger inclusion, NFC, IP rating, camera stabilisation, 5G bands and software-support policy for any alternative whose listing does not state them.
- Compare the delivered price. Include shipping, bank offers, exchange valuation and any required membership. Save a screenshot of the final configuration and seller.
- Use the return period as a test window. Check indoor and outdoor readability, Wi-Fi and mobile reception, Bluetooth accessories, camera focus, speaker balance, fingerprint reliability and app switching before the return deadline.
Which alternative is right for your priority?
| Your priority | Most defensible starting point | Why | What to verify |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMOLED viewing near the HOT 70 Pro’s price | Infinix Note Edge | LTPS AMOLED is listed instead of the HOT 70 Pro’s LCD | Brightness, battery, charging, IP rating and update policy |
| Higher listed brightness at a similar price | POCO M8 Power 5G | Comparison lists AMOLED and higher brightness | Brightness measurement, battery, cameras, NFC and support |
| Selfies or video calls | Note Edge or Motorola Edge 70 Fusion | Both are listed with higher front-camera resolution than the HOT 70 Pro | Actual image quality, focus, stabilisation and software processing |
| Heavy app switching | Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G | Comparison lists higher RAM and a higher multi-core result | Whether the extra cost, battery and software policy justify the upgrade |
| Battery hardware and durability features already documented | Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G | 6,000mAh, 45W, reverse charging, NFC, stereo speakers and IP68 are reported | Live price, exact variant and update-policy wording |
Bottom line for an everyday buyer
Buy the HOT 70 Pro 5G when its large battery, 45W charging, NFC, stereo speakers, IP68 protection and reported update policy matter more than having an AMOLED panel. Its review record is positive for ordinary calls, navigation, streaming and scrolling, with occasional multitasking stutters and camera detail or colour limitations worth knowing.
Choose the Infinix Note Edge when the display and front camera are your first priorities and its live price remains close to the HOT 70 Pro. Consider the POCO M8 Power 5G, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion or Infinix Note 60 Pro 5G only after checking the specifications that the cited comparison leaves unstated. There is no evidence here that any one alternative is a universal upgrade; the right choice depends on which compromises you are willing to make.
