Short answer: The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow is the closest like-for-like alternative to the Eufy Omni E35, particularly if navigation around furniture and pet bowls is your priority. The Eufy Omni E25 is worth investigating when it is substantially cheaper and you do not need the E35’s most aggressive cleaning specification. The Dreame X50 Ultra Complete and Eufy Omni C28 are additional models to research, not automatic recommendations, because their current regional availability and the rug-clearance, pet-hair and multi-floor specifications needed for a confident choice are not established here.
The right choice depends less on headline suction than on four measurements in your home: the height of every rug edge and threshold, how the main brush handles hair, how the mop protects carpet, and whether the robot can store and recognize maps for each floor. Prices and availability change by country and date, so verify the exact model and current listing before ordering.
The Eufy Omni E35 baseline
The Eufy Omni E35 is a premium robot vacuum and mop. Eufy’s US product page listed it at $1,299.99 when accessed in 2026 and advertised 35,000 Pa peak suction, a HydroJet 2.0 self-cleaning roller mop, DuoSpiral detangle brushes, CornerRover corner coverage, AI See 3.0 obstacle avoidance and a ThermoFresh hot-wash-and-dry dock. Those figures and feature names are manufacturer specifications and marketing claims, not independent comparative measurements.

- 𝟕𝟓-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: All-in-One Station with automated functions: (1) Auto-empties dust into 3L bag, (2) Auto-washes mop, (3) 50°C hot air drying to prevent mold, (4) Auto-collects wastewater. Station handles 95% of maintenance for up to 75 days. Just set it and forget it.
- 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲-𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: LiDAR navigation avoids obstacles ≥3×3×3cm (furniture, toys, pet bowls) without cameras—your privacy protected. Auto-lifts mop 10.8mm on short carpets. Long-lasting battery for multi-room cleaning. 54.89dB operation.
For a multilevel home, Eufy Support says: “The Omni E35 can store up to five floor maps and automatically recognize the floor it is cleaning.” The E35 also supports LiDAR mapping, room division, no-go zones and zone cleaning. Map storage does not make the robot climb stairs or carry itself between floors; a person must move it and, where necessary, its dock.
Which alternative is best for each type of home?
| Model | What is established | Best reason to investigate it | What is not established here |
|---|---|---|---|

Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow: the closest E35 alternative
Roborock’s official product page advertises 35,000 Pa motor power, a SpiraFlow 2.0 pressurized self-cleaning roller mop, an anti-tangle system and a 8.98 cm body. The matching suction number is not evidence that the two robots clean identically: it is a manufacturer claim, measured under conditions that may not be comparable with another company’s figure.
In an Ideal Home comparison, the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow navigated better than the E35 in that reviewer’s testing. The same comparison described the Roborock app as less easy to use. Treat both observations as one reviewer’s experience rather than a universal result. Obstacle performance can change with pet toys, cables, bowls, dark objects and clutter that were not present in a test room.
Why it may suit pets and mixed flooring
- The anti-tangle design is directly relevant where long human hair or pet hair wraps around a roller.
- The roller-mop design is intended for continuous wet cleaning, but you still need to confirm how the particular model lifts, retracts or otherwise protects the mop on carpet.
- The 8.98 cm body may fit under furniture that is too low for a taller robot. Body height is not the same as threshold-climbing ability.
- Its navigation result makes it the first alternative to examine if your home contains many obstacles or bowls that the robot must avoid.
Checks to make before buying
Roborock’s published information cited here does not establish the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow’s maximum threshold height, supported rug-pile height, number of saved floor maps or current price in your country. Measure your transitions and ask the seller or manufacturer for those exact specifications. Do not infer them from the 8.98 cm body measurement or the 35,000 Pa claim.
Eufy Omni E25: a lower-specification same-family option to investigate
T3 and Ideal Home both discuss the Eufy Omni E25 as a relevant comparison to the E35. Based on Ideal Home’s review experience, the reviewer would personally choose the E25 for an average household that does not need a deep clean every time. That is a reviewer preference, not a blanket verdict.
The E25 becomes interesting when its current price is materially below the E35 and your cleaning routine is moderate: regular dust, crumbs and ordinary shedding rather than repeated heavy-duty passes. Confirm the exact E25 version sold in your region, because a model name alone does not tell you its brush, mop, dock, obstacle-avoidance or mapping specification.

When the E25 is a sensible shortlist candidate
- Your floors are mostly hard surfaces or low, stable rugs.
- You run the robot frequently and do not require the deepest clean in a single cycle.
- The live price difference is large enough to matter after adding consumables and any service plan.
- You are comfortable verifying carpet protection and multilevel-map behavior before purchase.
When to stay with the E35 or compare more broadly
If your home has tall thresholds, thick or loose rugs, severe shedding, or several floors that require dependable room recognition, do not assume the E25 inherits every E35 capability. Compare the two model pages line by line for threshold clearance, brush construction, mop lifting or shielding, dock drying, map count and obstacle avoidance.

T3 suggests the Eufy Omni C28 and Dreame X50 Ultra Complete as additional models to consider. T3’s review points readers with larger homes toward the Dreame. That makes both worth adding to a research list, but the available information does not establish their current regional availability or enough primary specifications to recommend either one specifically for pet hair, rug edges or multilevel mapping.
If you investigate one of these models, obtain the exact regional product page and confirm the maximum climb or threshold specification, supported rug-pile height, carpet-mop behavior, main-brush design, saved-map capacity, dock dimensions and warranty terms. A larger advertised feature list is not a substitute for those measurements.
How to judge rug and threshold compatibility
Thresholds and rug lips are the most common physical reasons a robot fails to reach part of a home. TechRadar lists the E35’s maximum threshold clearance as 1.2 inches. Measure the tallest doorway transition, floor strip and rug edge in your home, not just the smoothest one. A robot that clears a 1.2-inch threshold on paper may still stall if the edge is steep, flexible, damaged or approached at an angle.
Measure these points
- Use a ruler or caliper to measure the vertical height from the lower floor to the top of each threshold and rug lip.
- Measure the height and thickness of the tallest rug pile, including a bound edge or curled corner.
- Check whether the robot has a straight approach or must turn while climbing.
- Look for loose tassels, fringe and curled corners that can catch a brush even when the robot has enough clearance.
- Compare your measurements with the manufacturer’s maximum climb specification for the exact model and regional version.
For the E35, the 1.2-inch figure is a listed maximum, not a promise that every rug edge at that height will be crossed reliably. For the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow and the other alternatives discussed here, the cited material does not establish a comparable maximum, so obtain that number before treating one as a better climber.

Carpet protection matters as much as climbing
A robot can cross a rug and still leave it wet or drag debris across it. Confirm whether the model detects carpet, raises the mop, retracts the roller, or uses another physical shield. Also check whether the app lets you create carpet or mop-exclusion zones. A self-cleaning roller is useful on hard floors, but it does not by itself prove safe carpet operation.

- 10000Pa Max Suction Meets Dual Anti-Tangle Design: From scattered crumbs to fluffy pet fur, this robot vacuum handles it all with ease. Featuring a Dual Anti‑Tangle brush system designed to reduce knots, the Zero‑Tangle arched side brush lifts debris along edges, while the All‑Rubber main roller provides a stronger grip to reduce hair wrap‑ups. When carpets are detected, it automatically maxes out suction to rip deeply embedded debris from rugs.
- Clean longer, Less mess, Safer floors: Vacuum and mop in one go—no need to switch attachments. With a large 460ml water tank, it covers up to 2x more area per fill than standard tanks, so you enjoy uninterrupted cleaning with fewer refills—perfect for larger homes or whole-floor jobs. Equipped with a protection plate, it seals out excess moisture during mopping to prevent warping on real wood floors, while also guiding the robot back to its charging dock for smoother auto-recharge.
- Up to 90 days of hands‑free cleaning: Our robot vacuums automatically empty debris into a 4L dust bag, helping you enjoy up to about 3 months of low-maintenance cleaning—so you spend less time on chores and more time doing what you actually care about.
- Smart LiDAR Mapping + 5‑Map Memory: Scans and maps your home in real time, then cleans row by row in a precise, systematic pattern – every inch covered. On its very first run, MR7PRO quickly navigates every corner to build a complete map in mins. It memorizes up to 5 different floor plans, so you can switch between levels and customize cleaning for each floor with ease – no need to remap every time.
- 160-Minute Runtime with Smart Recharge & Resume: Featuring an ultra‑high‑capacity 3200mAh battery for up to 160 minutes straight – enough to cover up to 2,690 square feet in one go. No need to wait for a full recharge. When the battery runs low mid‑clean, MR7 PRO robotic vacuum intelligently calculates how much power it needs to finish the remaining area, recharges just enough, and then resumes right where it left off. That means less waiting, more cleaning – and every inch of your home gets done.
Pet-hair performance: look beyond Pa
Peak suction is only one part of pet-hair pickup. Brush geometry, the distance between the brush and floor, airflow, hair length, floor texture and how easily you can remove wrapped hair all affect maintenance.
Eufy advertises the E35’s 35,000 Pa peak suction and DuoSpiral detangle brushes for pet hair and carpet. In Ideal Home’s own tests with sugar, cereal and dog hair on hard floor and carpet, the E35 picked up most debris in one pass; some hairballs were collected on a later pass. This was one reviewer’s home testing, not a controlled laboratory comparison or a guarantee for every breed, coat type, rug pile or room layout.
Questions to ask about any alternative
- Does the main brush use a bristle, rubber, spiral or mixed design?
- Is the anti-tangle claim about the main brush, side brush, wheels, or all three?
- Can you remove the brush without tools, and can you cut away hair safely?
- Does the dustbin or dock filter need frequent emptying in a shedding household?
- Does the robot make a second pass automatically when debris remains?
The Qrevo Edge 2 Flow’s official page advertises an anti-tangle system. That is relevant, but it is still a company claim. Compare it with observed hair pickup and the practical process for removing wrapped hair rather than awarding a winner from suction figures alone.
Mopping and carpet protection
The E35 uses a HydroJet 2.0 self-cleaning roller mop and a ThermoFresh hot-wash-and-dry dock, according to Eufy’s US product page. The Qrevo Edge 2 Flow uses a SpiraFlow 2.0 pressurized self-cleaning roller mop, according to Roborock. Both descriptions indicate an emphasis on continuous wet cleaning, but they do not establish identical wash temperatures, drying times, detergent compatibility or carpet behavior.
Compare the complete mop system
| Question | Why it matters in a pet home | E35 evidence in the cited material | What to verify for alternatives |
|---|---|---|---|
| How is the roller cleaned? | Residue and hair can create odor and reduce cleaning quality. | HydroJet 2.0 self-cleaning roller; ThermoFresh hot wash-and-dry dock. | Exact wash and dry process, duration and user-cleaning steps. |
| How is carpet protected? | Wet carpet can smell, stain or stay damp. | Not fully established in the cited material. | Mop lift, retraction or shielding; carpet detection and exclusion controls. |
| What fluids are allowed? | Incorrect detergent can damage seals or void service terms. | Not stated in the cited material. | Approved detergent, dilution, tank capacity and warranty restrictions. |
| What maintenance remains? | Self-cleaning docks reduce work but do not eliminate it. | Dock hot wash and drying are advertised. | Tray, filter, roller, tank and dust path cleaning intervals. |
Using a robot on multiple floors
The E35 can store up to five floor maps and automatically recognize the floor it is cleaning, according to Eufy Support. That is useful for a house with several mapped levels, but the robot still needs to be carried between floors. A second dock is optional only if the manufacturer supports that arrangement; do not assume one dock can be duplicated or relocated without remapping.
A practical multilevel workflow
- Map each floor separately with the dock positioned where the robot can start and return reliably.
- Divide rooms and name them clearly so you can send the robot to a zone without selecting the wrong level.
- Mark stairs, open edges, cables and areas where a physical barrier is safer than an app boundary.
- Before moving the robot, remove loose toys, pet bowls and cords that could produce a different obstacle pattern on the next floor.
- Carry the robot to the saved floor and select the correct map if automatic recognition does not identify it immediately.
- Return it to the correct dock or charging location after cleaning; map storage does not provide automatic stair travel.
For every alternative, confirm the number of saved maps, whether floor recognition is automatic, how the app handles a relocated robot, and whether no-go zones are stored separately for each floor. A model that stores only one map may require remapping or manual room selection in a multilevel home.

Navigation and obstacle avoidance around pets
Eufy advertises AI See 3.0 obstacle avoidance and LiDAR-based mapping for the E35. Ideal Home found that the E35 handled expected furniture and bowls better than unexpected obstacles, but its handling of unanticipated objects was inconsistent. Pet toys, cords, clothing and accidents on the floor can be more difficult than fixed furniture, so plan to clear them even when a robot advertises AI avoidance.

Ideal Home reported better navigation from the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow in its direct comparison, while finding its app less easy to use. That result should influence a trial or return decision, not be treated as a universal ranking. App usability also includes map editing, room naming, schedules, zone cleaning and recovery after a stuck event.
Reduce failure points before each run
- Lift charging cables, shoelaces, ribbons and dangling toy strings.
- Move lightweight bowls and toys that the robot may push or trap under a wheel.
- Check for fresh pet messes that a vacuum or mop could spread.
- Keep low furniture edges and thresholds visible during the first supervised runs.
- Use no-go zones for fragile items instead of relying solely on camera or LiDAR recognition.
Dock footprint, maintenance and ownership cost
A premium dock needs a permanent location with clearance for the robot to approach, leave, wash, dry and empty. Measure the dock footprint and the space above and beside it before buying. Include room to remove tanks, filters, trays and the brush roller.
Ownership cost includes replacement rollers, side brushes, filters, bags or dust containers, detergent, electricity, warranty service and the time needed to clean the dock. The cited information does not establish recurring consumable prices for the E35, Qrevo Edge 2 Flow, E25, C28 or X50 Ultra Complete. Compare those costs in your region rather than assuming the most expensive robot has the highest long-term cost.
Maintenance checklist
- Inspect the main brush and side brush for hair after the first few runs, then set a schedule based on actual shedding.
- Empty or replace the dust container or bag before airflow is restricted.
- Clean the dock wash tray, filters and sensors according to the model’s manual.
- Keep water tanks, detergent and drying vents within the manufacturer’s specified limits.
- Wipe cliff, camera and LiDAR sensors when navigation becomes erratic.
- Record recurring stuck locations and solve them with a physical change or no-go zone.
A buying decision framework
Choose the E35 when
- You value an all-in-one dock with a self-cleaning roller, hot washing and drying.
- Your home’s tallest threshold is compatible with the listed 1.2-inch maximum and your rugs are stable.
- Five saved maps and automatic floor recognition meet your multilevel needs.
- You prefer Eufy’s app and mapping workflow after checking it against your own rooms.
Choose the Qrevo Edge 2 Flow for further investigation when
- Obstacle navigation is your leading concern and the reviewer comparison is relevant to your layout.
- You want a similarly advertised 35,000 Pa motor and a self-cleaning roller-mop design.
- The 8.98 cm body helps it reach under low furniture, provided its threshold specification also fits.
- You can accept an app that one reviewer found less easy to use.
Investigate the E25 when
- You have an average-sized, relatively uncomplicated home and do not need a deep clean every run.
- Its current price is meaningfully lower after comparing accessories and consumables.
- You verify its exact carpet, brush, dock and map specifications rather than assuming E35 equivalence.
Keep the C28 or X50 Ultra Complete on a research list when
- You want more models to compare, especially for a larger property.
- You are willing to verify regional availability and the missing clearance, pet-hair and mapping details before purchase.
Pre-purchase checklist for a pet-and-rug home
- Write down the tallest threshold and thickest rug edge in inches or millimetres.
- Photograph loose fringe, curled corners and transitions where a robot could snag.
- Confirm the model’s maximum climb, supported rug pile and approach limitations.
- Confirm carpet detection and whether the mop lifts, retracts or is physically shielded.
- Read the brush-removal and hair-cleaning instructions for your expected shedding level.
- Check saved-map capacity, automatic floor recognition and the process for carrying the robot upstairs.
- Measure the dock location, including clearance for tanks, trays and ventilation.
- Price consumables and approved detergent in your country.
- Verify warranty coverage, return policy and the exact regional model number.
- Recheck the live price immediately before ordering; the E35 figures cited above include a volatile US listing and a launch price reported by TechRadar.
Bottom line for this shortlist
The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow is the most credible direct alternative to investigate because it combines a similar advertised suction figure and roller-mop approach with a lower listed body and better navigation in one hands-on comparison. It is not proven to clean identically, clear your thresholds or protect your rugs without model-specific verification.
