Specifications in the table reflect RTINGS’ guide, not a guarantee that every regional version or input has identical capabilities. LG’s U.S. product page identifies model OLED65C6PUA as a 65-inch 2026 OLED evo AI 4K smart TV; verify the suffix on any other C6 listing.
What does 120Hz mean for a 4K TV?
A TV’s native refresh rate is the panel’s actual refresh capability. A claim about a boosted, motion or processing rate is not the same thing. For a 4K gaming setup, look for explicit support for a 4K signal at 120Hz or above—not simply a “120Hz” label or a high refresh mode available only at a lower resolution.

RTINGS’ budget example makes the distinction clear: its Vizio Mini LED Quantum 4K pick has a 60Hz native rate and supports 4K/60Hz plus 1080p/120Hz. It does not meet a requirement for native 4K at 120Hz. The guide also lists the Hisense U6SF Pro at 144Hz native, with two HDMI 2.1 inputs and VRR, but describes it as slower and less bright than the U7SG. Check its supported signal combinations if considering it; a native-rate figure by itself does not settle 4K compatibility.
How to check gaming compatibility before buying
- Confirm the native refresh rate. Check the specification for the exact 65-inch model and make sure it is at least 120Hz, rather than relying on a motion or boosted-rate claim.
- Find the supported resolution and refresh combination. Confirm that the TV accepts 4K at 120Hz or higher. If you need a faster mode such as 1080p/330Hz, verify that separately; high refresh modes may depend on resolution.
- Check which HDMI inputs support that mode. The number of ports labeled HDMI 2.1 does not alone establish that every port supports every listed resolution and refresh rate. Match your intended console or PC input to the manufacturer’s port specifications.
- Count the ports you will actually use. Multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs can let you connect more than one compatible device without moving cables, but confirm the exact count on the regional model.
- Look for VRR support. Variable refresh rate (VRR) is a separate gaming feature from the panel’s native refresh rate. Confirm support for your devices and the relevant input mode.
- Match HDR support to your sources. HDR format availability varies. For example, the S95H is listed with HDR10+ but not Dolby Vision, while the C6 is listed with Dolby Vision but not HDR10+.
HDMI 2.1 is relevant to many 4K/120Hz gaming setups, but the label alone is not a complete compatibility check. The source device, TV input, resolution, refresh rate and VRR mode all need to align.

Which 65-inch 120Hz TV works best in a bright room?
RTINGS points to the matte Samsung S95H OLED and Hisense U7SG as bright-room options. The S95H combines a matte screen with OLED black levels; the U7SG is a Mini-LED LCD with a matte finish and local dimming. If bright-room glare is the main concern, compare how the screen handles reflections as well as how bright it gets—especially if a window or lamp faces the TV.

OLED or Mini-LED: which suits your viewing?
Choose OLED for dark-room contrast and wide viewing angles
The S95H, C6 and B6 are OLED recommendations. RTINGS describes the OLED picks as strong in dark-room performance, with deep blacks and wide viewing angles. The C6 and S95H have higher listed native refresh rates than the B6, while the B6 is the listed 120Hz-native option. Consider room brightness and reflections alongside those differences.
Consider Mini-LED LCD for a brighter space
The U7SG is the guide’s Mini-LED LCD alternative. Local dimming is reported to produce deep blacks, but it is not identical to OLED: the guide notes some motion blur compared with the OLED picks. For a bright room, its matte finish and the S95H’s matte OLED screen make them distinct options worth comparing.

- Native refresh rate is at least 120Hz.
