“60” here means the 60% keyboard layout, not a price or model count: these compact boards omit dedicated keys such as the function row, navigation cluster and numpad, with many functions moved to key combinations. That saves desk space, but arrow keys and navigation can take extra steps. GamesRadar’s accessed buying guide names the Corsair Clipper Pro Mini 60 its best 60% gaming keyboard; the other four options below are useful alternatives, not entries in a comparable five-model test.
Five 60% gaming keyboards to consider
These picks are organized by their documented features and cited coverage. Rankings, stock, software support and prices can change, so check the exact version and current listing before buying.

The review also reports occasional spacebar scratching; arrow-key access requires software configuration. GamesRadar listed a price of $99.99 on the accessed page, but that is a time-sensitive listing, not a guaranteed current price. GamesRadar’s gaming-keyboard guide
Corsair’s comparison, last updated June 11, 2026, lists 8,000 Hz polling, per-key RGB and IP57 protection for the Clipper, and identifies it as Hall Effect magnetic rather than conventional mechanical. When the compact layout is useful
A 60% board leaves more desk area open and can give a mouse more room to move. It can suit a minimal setup or a player who rarely uses a dedicated function row, navigation keys or numpad.
Rank #4
- [Petite 60% form factor]: Free up more room for your mouse with this supremely compact keyboard.
- [Full aircraft-grade aluminum body]: The aluminum casing keeps the keyboard structurally sound and stable when the action gets intense.
- [Double shot PBT keycaps with side printing]: The keycaps are designed with durable PBT material that is resistant to wear, friction, and solvents. Secondary functions are printed on the sides of the keycaps for quick recognition.
- [HyperX Mechanical switches]: Custom-designed HyperX key switches are balanced for speed and accuracy. They’re also reliable, rated for 80 million keypresses with no loss of quality.
- [RGB backlit keys with radiant lighting effects]: Get brighter, more luminous RGB lighting, thanks to the exposed LED design of the HyperX mechanical switches.
When missing dedicated keys become a hassle
If you regularly edit text, move through spreadsheets, use arrow keys or rely on navigation controls, those actions may require a function-layer combination. The Clipper’s arrow-key setup in particular calls for software configuration according to GamesRadar. If possible, try the layout before buying or confirm the exact key combinations in the manual.

What to verify before you buy
- Confirm the exact layout and switch SKU. Check the product listing for the 60% layout and the specific switch type; similarly named models and variants are not interchangeable.
- Try the function layer. Check how you access arrows, navigation and function-row actions, especially if you use them throughout the day.
- Check connectivity. The cited descriptions identify the Clipper, Apex Pro Mini and Huntsman Mini as wired. Verify the exact SKU for any model where wireless support matters rather than inferring it from a product family name.
- Check operating-system and software needs. RTINGS reports Windows-only customization for the Alloy Origins 60. Corsair’s arrow-key configuration note also makes software relevant to the Clipper.
- Compare current prices and availability. The $99.99 figure is what GamesRadar listed when its page was accessed, not a live quote. The cited sources do not establish current stock or comparable prices for all five models.
- Weigh sound, build and durability by evidence type. Attribute review opinions to their publisher and distinguish them from manufacturer specifications or claims; do not treat a protection rating or material description as a substitute for independent testing.
