The BenQ ZOWIE XQ2566X pairs a 24.1-inch, 2560 × 1440 Fast TN panel with a manufacturer-listed 360Hz refresh rate for PC gaming. That specification makes it a high-refresh QHD option aimed at competitive play, but the available information does not establish its measured motion clarity, input lag, response time, or image quality. Treat its performance features as manufacturer claims until independent measurements are available.

These details come from ZOWIE’s US XQ2566X product page. A 360Hz ceiling applies to a compatible PC or laptop signal at the monitor’s native resolution; it is not the listed console limit.

360Hz at QHD for PC
The combination of 2560 × 1440 resolution and 360Hz refresh is the main specification to weigh. Reaching the maximum refresh rate requires a compatible source and connection, and a game must render enough frames to make full use of it. A high refresh-rate specification alone does not prove lower input lag, faster pixel response, or a competitive advantage.

DyAc 3 and the color filter
ZOWIE describes DyAc 3 as motion-clarity technology and says its color filter is intended to reduce play-zone color interference to help separate targets. Those are manufacturer-stated purposes; the evidence available here does not independently verify the results or quantify how the display performs with these features enabled.
ZOWIE Sync and G Sensor
The product page describes ZOWIE Sync as a way to apply shared or pro configurations. It also says the G Sensor provides an angle reference for positioning. These functions may be useful for managing settings or aligning the display, but they do not substitute for measured display-performance results.

What changes when you connect a console?
ZOWIE lists the XQ2566X for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at up to 2560 × 1440 and 120Hz through HDMI 2.1. That is below the 360Hz PC maximum. If console gaming is your main use, assess it as a QHD/120Hz display based on the manufacturer’s listed limit, rather than assuming a console can use the advertised PC refresh rate.

ZOWIE announced the 24.1-inch XQ2566X alongside the 27-inch XQ2766X on July 2, 2026, positioning the XQ series for Battle Royale competition and larger maps. The announcement set European recommended retail prices at €949 for the XQ2566X and €1,199 for the XQ2766X. These are launch-era European recommendations, not confirmation of current local pricing or stock.

The size and launch-price difference may help frame the choice, but this information alone does not establish which model is better value or how either performs. ZOWIE’s July 2, 2026 XQ-series announcement describes the models and European launch guidance.
Price, availability, and box contents depend on region
The US product page displays a price of $899.99 alongside an availability notification. That is a page-displayed US price field, not proof that the monitor is in stock or available for purchase at that price. Check the product page and local retailers for current status. For Europe, the €949 figure is the recommended retail price stated in the July 2026 launch announcement; it should not be treated as a current transaction price.

The official page lists an S Switch and shield as accessories, but that does not establish that both are included in every regional package. Confirm the box contents with the local seller before relying on either item being supplied.

For a purchase decision that depends on performance rather than specifications, look for a substantive independent review that reports its test conditions and measurements. In particular, compare motion handling and input lag at the refresh rates you will actually use, alongside color, contrast, and viewing-angle results. Without those results, it would be premature to rank the XQ2566X against competing monitors or call it a proven esports upgrade.
