The Bellini BRA903CPX2 is a 90 cm stainless-steel canopy rangehood with three fan speeds, a manufacturer-rated extraction rate of 700 m³/h and a stated noise level of 52 dB at fan setting 1. It can vent air outdoors or recirculate it through charcoal filters. The main buying caution is that filter codes conflict: Bellini lists CF110, while CHOICE lists CFA120/IN5103076. Confirm the exact part with Bellini or an authorized parts seller before ordering.
What the BRA903CPX2 offers
Bellini’s current product page identifies the BRA903CPX2 as a 90 cm stainless-steel canopy model. Its specifications are manufacturer-published, not independent measurements. The manual, version 3 dated September 2020, covers this model and a related 60 cm model.

Yes. The manual describes both extraction and recirculation, but they are different installations.

Extraction: discharge outdoors
In extraction mode, air passes through the grease filters and is ducted outside. Bellini specifies a 150 mm outlet. The manual says extracted air must exit into open air; it must not be discharged into a roof cavity, and a wall cavity is unsuitable unless designed for that purpose.
Recirculation: fit charcoal filters
In recirculation mode, air passes through the grease filters and charcoal filters before returning to the kitchen through the chimney grilles. Bellini’s manual states: “For air recirculation mode, charcoal filter is a must to eliminate cooking smells.” This mode avoids an outdoor duct, but it does not eliminate the need to identify and replace the compatible charcoal filter.

Which charcoal filter fits?
The available listings do not agree on the part number. Bellini’s current product page names CF110 as compatible; CHOICE’s recirculating listing names CFA120 Charcoal Filter IN5103076. The sources do not establish that these codes are equivalent or interchangeable.

- Check the rangehood’s model label and the filter or parts information supplied with the appliance.
- Give Bellini or an authorized parts seller the exact model number, BRA903CPX2, and ask them to confirm the compatible code before purchase.
- Do not order solely because a listing uses one of the other code names.
CHOICE’s listing reports two carbon filters, replacement every three months and an annual carbon-filter cost of $126. Those are CHOICE listing details, not a guarantee of current price or availability.

Is the Bellini BRA903CPX2 discontinued?
CHOICE marks the model as discontinued. Bellini still has a current product page for it, but that page does not prove that retailers currently have stock. CHOICE’s ducted listing displays $326; treat that as a listing value, not a current retailer quote.
CHOICE separates ducted and recirculating listings. Its public ducted page says the test mode was ducted, but the expert rating, detailed performance, ease-of-use and noise scores, and pros and cons are behind member access. Its public recirculating listing reports a score of 59%. These details do not provide a complete public comparison or enough evidence to rank the model against alternatives on performance.

Installation and maintenance checks
Use the model manual and applicable local requirements for installation. The manual directs installers to use a suitably qualified and competent person. It also calls for adequate room ventilation when the rangehood operates alongside gas- or other fuel-burning appliances.
- Confirm that a 90 cm hood suits the cooktop and available installation space. CHOICE lists a 600–700 mm mounting height above the stove; check the manual and local rules for the applicable clearance rather than relying on generic advice.
- For ducted use, plan for the manual’s 150 mm outlet and an outdoor discharge route.
- Remove grease filters for cleaning at least every four weeks, as the manual specifies, to reduce fire risk.
How to judge whether it suits your kitchen
Decide first whether the kitchen can support an outdoor duct or needs recirculation. Then check the 90 cm width, the manual’s installation clearances, the available duct route, and whether the confirmed charcoal-filter part can be obtained if you plan to recirculate. Compare extraction rate and noise only where the figures use comparable settings and test conditions; the manufacturer figures here are not independent measurements.

For a comparison with another hood, useful points include installation mode, fit and clearance, extraction, noise at comparable settings, filter-cleaning effort, replacement-filter cost and availability, warranty support, and independently published test results. The public evidence available for this model does not reveal CHOICE’s detailed ducted scores, so it cannot support a confident performance ranking.
