| Water use | 11.8 L | CHOICE lists this as claimed usage, not a publicly visible independent test result |
The consumption figures should not be treated as independently verified test measurements. CHOICE’s public listing provides product details and claimed usage, while its expert rating, wash and dry scores, energy-efficiency test score, year tested, reliability score and satisfaction score are available only to members. The public evidence therefore does not support a performance ranking or a claim that this dishwasher cleans well or poorly. See CHOICE’s BDW127X-F listing for the public details.

Drying and detergent guidance
Bellini’s V8 manual, dated September 2020, recommends opening the door slightly—about 50 mm—after each wash to help dishes dry naturally. This is the manufacturer’s operating guidance, not an independent drying test result. The manual also directs owners to use detergent and rinse additives designed for automatic dishwashers and says repairs or servicing should be handled by authorized personnel. The instructions cover the BDW127X-F alongside the BDW127W-F and BDW127S-F variants, so check the model marking before following model-specific advice.

Who should consider it?
The published specification may suit someone who needs a standard-width freestanding dishwasher, values a 12-place-setting capacity and wants the listed program selection. The key limitation for a buyer is not a documented test failure; it is the lack of publicly visible independent scores combined with discontinued status. If cleaning performance, parts access or an active warranty matters to your decision, verify those points for the actual unit and seller rather than inferring them from the specifications.
