Installation details to verify

Replacing the carbon filters
In recirculating mode, the BSO60RFV uses two carbon filters. CHOICE says to replace them every six months and names “Bellini Charcoal Filters – 2 Pack Rangehoods” as the filter model. CHOICE’s listing provides the quantity and interval.

Is the BSO60RFV a good choice?
Because the model is discontinued and its accessible review details do not establish ducted performance, noise, or ease of use, the available evidence cannot support a confident verdict on how well it extracts cooking fumes. For an existing owner, the documented filter requirement and compatibility information are more actionable than the limited public test data. If you are considering a used unit, check its condition, confirm that it fits the cabinet and installation, and make sure replacement filters are available before committing.
When assessing a replacement rangehood, compare whether it can be ducted externally, its independent extraction and noise results, fit, filter availability and cost, and whether it is currently sold.
