The energy figures are most useful as historical model specifications. They do not predict an individual appliance’s current consumption, which can depend on condition, settings, room temperature and use. For a comparison, use figures from the same region and rating system, and compare capacity and energy information on a like-for-like basis.

What is known about performance—and what is not
CHOICE identifies 2016 as the model’s test year, but its public listing does not show the Expert Rating or detailed test scores. In particular, the available public information does not establish how consistently temperatures were maintained, how evenly the compartments cooled, how quickly they responded to outside temperature changes, or how noisy the refrigerator was. A test listing alone is not evidence of a good or poor result.
ProductReview.com.au’s comments include owners of RCNE450K40Z-family models, with suffixes including ZW and ZX. Some comments praise storage, quietness or ease of use; individual reports also mention door handling or closure. This is a small anecdotal sample, not controlled testing or proof of a recurring defect. Check that a comment refers to the same suffix as the unit you are considering.

Features and controls: verify the exact appliance
The retailer’s product page describes frost-free operation, electronic temperature control, LED lighting, a twist ice maker, Everfresh+ crisper, NeoFrost cooling, active fresh blue light, an ioniser, an odour filter and seal guard. Those are retailer-listed features, not a guarantee that every used or remaining-stock unit has each one. The Appliances Online listing is useful as a feature reference, but its presence does not establish current stock.
Beko’s user guide for the RCNE450K40ZW also covers related variants, including RCNE450K40ZX and other BBM450 models. The guide warns that some features may not apply to every product. Look at the unit’s own control panel and labels, and match its model documentation before relying on a particular function.

The manufacturer’s guide is the best source for operation and safety instructions for this model family. It covers temperature adjustment, fast freezing, holiday function, compartment selection, food placement, ice storage, cleaning and troubleshooting. Because variants differ, use the instructions that match the appliance rather than assuming every illustrated control or feature is present.

- Ice: The manual lists an ice cube tray and ice bank among components. Confirm that both are present on the specific unit; compatibility of separately sold replacements has not been established.
- Cleaning and troubleshooting: Use the manual’s care instructions and fault guidance. If a problem persists or requires repair, confirm service options for this discontinued model.
What to check before buying one
- Confirm identity: Check the model and suffix on the appliance’s rating label. Do not treat information for a related ZW, ZX or BBM450 variant as automatically interchangeable.
- Measure the space: Compare the kitchen opening with the listed appliance dimensions and the recommended installation space. Verify ventilation and clearance requirements against the exact unit’s installation instructions.
